we know u hate iniesta but it will be unfair to us and even to your football knowledge to shift the blame on iniesta,
It is all good getting praise when Messi and co win games for you while you contribute few goals and assists per season. Why should we not ask what you brought to the table when Messi and co couldn't perform? Imagine you played with Malouda and Kalou, is this what you will be serving us while we keep losing, waiting for Malouda and Kalou to provide the difference every game?

Look, I'm not blaming him for 4-0 defeat. I'm just saying read and watch his midfield play, the low volume of passes for those who claim he controlled midfield when it was Xavi. The inability to see and pass more than 10 yards to players in space and the low assist rate that comes with that short range vision.

It takes calmness and concentration to analyse midfield play. It is not something you can do in canopy with all the noise and drinking going on. That's why I ask you to watch his midfield play with concentration at home but NEPA won't allow you. Up Nepa!

PSG are 3rd in their league. Does that mean Ligue 1 is better than La Liga or does that rule only apply to PL clubs when they lose in the CL?
Flesh and Blood has not revealed this to you.

Didn't you see earlier where I said we could buy a player of Xavi's profile? undecided

A coach that rejected Toni Kroos twice should not be taken serious.

Before we used to play as a unit and defended with the ball.

We were hardly being cut open like this because we always had the ball in our possession.

Now we have a coach that believes in Individual brilliance and cares less about the midfield.

I have been complaining about it since the season started that it won't take us anywhere, now it has finally happened.

The only reason we still have a season sef is because of Messi.
The funny thing about this post is you believe you have the midfielders to return to the days of yore.

Go and recall Xavi from Qatar or at least beg Thiago to return from Munich.

Iniesta can't control your midfield for you. He's never been the high volume passer that can implement the midfield you speak of.

Barca as a whole were woeful tonight. So why highlight just Iniesta? The last time these two teams met, Iniesta was the one pulling the strings. He wasn't ontop of His game today. Let one of His teammates step up their game too
I'm not highlighting one game. I'm trying to show the vast difference between a legend Xavi and someone not in his class who got undue accolade by association with him. I'm not blaming him for a 4-0 loss, just trying to correct unfair ranking in the game and clear misconception about who is responsible for Barcas famed midfield.

The crux of the message is watch what Iniesta looks like in a normal team like most of his mates have had to do their whole careers. Iniesta can't tell anyone that he has done his part, let them do theirs. 2 goals and 4 assists per season is not doing your part, it's riding coattails.

There is a reason why Busquets looks like League One player these days. Xavi made everything easy for him by dominating possession completely so Busquets lack of pace won't be exposed. That's something you do by making 100 passes per game like Xavi, not by making 55 passes like Iniesta.

In a nutshell, the famed "Xavi & Iniesta" that commentators like to eulogise was never Iniesta, it was just Xavi. Iniesta only came for the ridealong.

Don't mind Ibime and His Iniesta hate campaign.

A team just got absolutely pummeled 4-0. Rather than blame the leaky defence or the world acclaimed MSN trio who could hardly muster a chance all night long, nah Iniesta e dey blame.
Who creates chances for MSN? We dey talk Verratti, Verratti since. Is he an alien?

So its Iniesta who will be 33 after a decade service
You've been calling him old since he was 30. He is 32. . . .2 years younger than Lampard in 2012. We know your style when it comes to making even 30 year olds seem old to fit your arguments.

His lack of productivity is no coincidence. How does age affect the fact he can't see more than 10 yards in front of him? Does the age come with cataracts?

By MSN counterattack not by tikitaka.

If the name is not Xavi, it can never be Xavi. Give a carryalong the opportunity to play Xavis position and you see him making less passes than Matic. The famed Barca midfield was only ever one man and his name was Xavi. Iniestas name got tagged along by association. He is a dribbler not a midfield controller or visionary.

He's having one of his better games in terms of volume of touches of the ball but as usual his field of vision is too short range.

Fixtures don't mean anything. We've see Watford and Bournemouth beat Liverpool this season. Watford Trashed Arsenal etc. I can bet that you didn't expect us to draw Burnley regardless of their impressive home form. The koko is that we can still drop points....and that's before we even play them.

Softly Softly. 14 games still dey with everything to play for.
13 games to play. We will win our next 4 and wave everybody arrivederci.

City never play Pool, Utd or Chelsea.

We and Spurs only have 2 big games left.

Average age of Leicester last season 27.2
Average age of Chelsea 2010 27.7
Average age of City this year 27.9.

Their oldest player is 33, we were carrying Lampard, Terry, Ashley Cole and DD to trophies into their mid-thirties.

My personal campaign grin

Mehn just type Matic on twitter. The guy is being slaughtered online, on TV, and on this thread but I have a personal campaign.

The only person that has a personal campaign here is you bro, because we all know Matic is one of your favourites.

Goodnight my G.
Wake me up when they start calling for Chalobah first before Cesc. I will support that campaign. Till then, these are the yarnings of fantasists who know nothing about the requirement of the current midfield set up.

There will always be peeps who know nothing about balance calling for a flair player to play - this is England. When you bench a fan favourite, you can expect such campaigns. Ask anyone who ever benched Beckham or ask Lampard what kinda campaigns were mounted against him by England fans for playing AM over Gerrard.

We have also seen campaigns calling Matic the best midfielder in the country this week. You read what you want. The truth lies somewhere inbetween, but the only proof we can go on lies in the league table and the goals conceded column.

I will not take central midfield advice from peeps who mounted strong campaign in favour of China midfielders. All I know is Chelsea is 10 points clear on the table with this midfield "dysfunction".
