This is the Wodaabe people, a nomadic people belonging to the Fulani ethnic group.

These men are trying to look as beautiful (see: makeup) as possible so that a woman can pick them to be her partner.

Faces being pulled here are to make their noses look longer, eyes bigger. And married women are free to pick another man as husband.

That is not true. That's only because you see what you are given on Nairaland.
No, I live in the UK and follow the UK news, the drill scene etc. Even had this conversation with one of my senior mentors from Nigeria recently. We remarked that in the 90s, all these crimes carried Carribean names, but now they are mostly Nigerian or African. He said that these are kids with no connection to home, and very often the children of lower class Nigerian workers who came in the 1990s. Previously many Nigerians in the UK were the rich and middle class hence the low crime rate amongst Nigerians.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is Caribbeans who committed this crime. Their youths are degenerates who have no house training.
Most of the stabbers and killers now are 2nd generation Nigerians

Julio Cesar and Glen Johnson are the only 2 ex pros to have kept their skill

Ricky Carvalho is dooooone.

Essien just gave away a stone cold pen on Johnson, but the ref had mercy
Johnson is not long retired. Keepers don't lose much of their skill, just their agility.

Fury knocked out Schwarz in 2 rounds, no comment here.

But if the overhyped Ogbomoso bodybuilder had fought, this thread would have moved 2 pages.

Fury went to MGM Grand twice and brought the house down, but AJ disgraced himself on his first trip to America.

Big Church and Fashanu must have him on retainer.

But why Nairaland keeps pushing his image laundering to front page is the one that baffles me.

Do you think someone amongst Seun staff is receiving inducement to push these useless Alexreports stories to frontpage?

Stop saying rubbish. Gerrard stayed at Liverpool even when they turned to trash. My very own lamp never begged to Leave my club. Lampard, Drogba, cech, ivan are players you call legends who gave their best and prime to chelsea. He begged for the transfer two years straight.
Chelsea legend should not treat Chelsea as a second choice.
I know where you're coming from but Drogba also flirted with clubs while at Chelsea. That's one of the reasons I was not altogether enamoured with Drogba

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/2300466/Chelseas-Didier-Drogbas-dream-is-AC-Milan.html

As for Hazard, we have to accept he gave his all, and behaved himself even when the club was spoiling his chance of success by signing rubbish.

Maybe you prefer Courtois style or Raiola clients like Pogba that will be disrespecting their club every second. Even Mbappe is making noise about leaving PSG. By modern standards, Hazard has been relatively respectful.

Someone should read what Billy Clifford have to say about Chelsea: https://chelseaecho.com/2019/06/13/an-exclusive-interview-with-billy-clifford-transcript/
The grass is not always greener on the other side.

Staying at Chelsea from academy to 23/24 at least guarantees you financial security for the rest of your life. Even the likes of Lewis Baker, Kasey Palmer and co never need to work again.

Him saying that youngsters will get a better chance at Fulham/Charlton does not always work out.

When you leave Chelsea at 23/24, you're guaranteed at least a Championship contract and a professional career.

Pointing to the likes of Lingard and Dele Alli as examples of success at other clubs is only looking at the most successful examples. He should take a cue from Frank Nouble who was highly rated and rejected new Chelsea contract at 18 to move to West Ham thinking he would get more chances, only to be playing non league football within few years.

If Frank Nouble had stayed at Chelsea, he would have established a career after couple of loan moves to Vitesse, be earning decent money till 24/25 before establishing a Championship career.

If I'm a father, I will encourage my son to stay at Chelsea till 23/24 rather than jump too early, with the guarantee of £20k per week till they become financially secure before taking risks. Men like Tomas Kalas have been collecting £1.2m a year for years. You think such a man has any financial worry in life whether he makes first team or not? Same goes for our own Omeruo who has been collecting £20k per week come rain or shine for years. I dare say if Omeruo had taken a chance years ago, he would be struggling in Greek or Ukraine league now, but Chelsea made sure to set up structured loans at clubs that gave him chance to play, prolonging his career at the top. He failed in many loans, yet Chelsea still guaranteed his income. Now he has finally had a successful loan in LaLiga, they can sell him to LaLiga club where he will be joining with enough clout to ensure they give him a good contract and playing time.

Now Kalas is 26 and will go on to establish a professional career till he retires. If he took a chance to move to Granada/Betis type club for first team football some years ago, he may have been washed out by now and looking for where to eat.

Staying at Chelsea is like aiming for the stars, even if you miss, you will land on the moon.

Chelsea has lost a gem in this player he can play multiple roles across the midfield and a goalscorer too.
Certainly better than Drinkbleach and Donkeyoko, especially if we are losing Kovacic

Real understands the situation with Chelsea and that gives them leverage. However, that leverage isn't strong enough given that Kovacic is seen by Real as a player that has to be sold.

I won't be surprised if Inter launches a bid today and it gets accepted.

Chelsea on the other hand are weighing the options at their disposal. You've got few lads coming back from loan spells and who might be given a shot at the top level.

Have you seen Mason Mount play? I don't know what the lad looks like honestly.

Cc: nateevs
It would be in Inters interest to string Madrid along like they are going to make a 50m bid, then when Chelsea are out of the race in July, they will launch 35m bid.

Griffon:
No, it has nothing to do with Yoko.

According to reports, Real were willing to include Kovacic in the deal for Hazard, but we rejected the proposal and opted to keep the two deals separate.

As it stands, Madrid are “expecting” to receive at least €50m for Kovacic, a ninja they do not want back and who doesn’t want to go back either.

With Kovacic's loan deal expiring at the end of the month, after which his registration goes back to Real Madrid, at which point the transfer ban - assuming it stays, would prevent us from reacquiring it, we definitely do have a deadline to beat.

I'm guessing Real are playing hard balls with us on this one, knowing fully well we have to lock a deal before the end of June.
From market rumours linking only Chelsea and Inter, they would be lucky to receive €40m. I guess they tried to jack up Kovacic value to reduce Hazard fee.

you are not serious. Benitez that does not have a pattern. He is a confused man.
Benitez is not a manager who works with young players, which is what Chelsea need now. He will be a solid hand that would guarantee a certain level though, and avoid a disastrous season. However one should note that Sarri was a remarkable improvement on him at Napoli.

They should check Ajax manager contract and see if he is attainable, Allegri is there, and Lampard as no3 choice if they can't get the other two.

Conte is more than capable of breaking Juve dominance. He broke 6 years of Milan clubs dominance to kickstart and entrench this period of Juve dominance. However the transfer market will determine all, especially as Juve are now fielding Ororo.
