First, record how you feel about going into the office or workplace every day. Be honest with yourself and write your true feelings. Are you dreading walking through the doors and the thought of it makes you nauseous? Maybe you’re looking forward to it but once you get there, you find that you are bored and unable to concentrate.

When a specific job situation comes up, write down your reactions to having to complete that task. Your boss has given you the assignment of researching past profit margins for one of the products your company produces. He wants a comprehensive report done and on his desk within two days. Are you angry and dreading the job or does it make you happy to be trusted with an important job? Write it down!

In your work journal, jot down your feelings about your co-workers. Do you generally get along with everyone, or do you find yourself constantly at odds with people or a specific person?

The key to a work journal is to write down exactly how you feel about various aspects of your job and then look for recurring themes. Are you unhappy because of the people you are around or

That those early men in the history of Nigeria failed is NOT a surprise to those that are discerning of what makes for EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP; the only disaster looming at us now is that the present generation of NIGERIANS are not better when it comes to how to lead WELL, we are even WORSE.

Let me itemize what can lead to NIGERIA coming out of this logjam; it is left for others to contribute their own thinking and then the present generation of leaders being able to sit down and iron things out.

1. The OLD generation of leaders are NOT equipped to sort things out; they are either too myopic in their thinking or too SELFISH to think straight.

2. The present generation of leaders must eschew CORRUPTION or it will bury the remaining fragment of what is left of NIGERIA.

3. We must all wake up to the reality that finding solution to the problem is a marathon race, NOT 100meters dash.

4. The resolution of Nigerians as shown by the fuel subsidy removal and the attendant protest must be sustained by a commitment to eschew CORRUPTION individually.

5. Adopt a mindset that you will be your brothers keeper irrespective of the madness going on in different part of the nation now, so that God can be IMPRESSED to help us out of this SELF-IMPOSED destruction in the nation.

6. No Nigerian should ever deny not to be part of the problem; rather repent and ask for God's MERCY on the land. It is quite easy to point to politicians in power; the truth of the matter is that most if not ALL NIGERIANS are thieves and criminals. You only need to go offices; private or public and you will see CORRUPTION in broad day light.

7. The bedrock of our problem in NIGERIA is just WRONG MIND-SET, which both our EDUCATIONAL and RELIGIOUS sector has not helped to reduce; it is CORRUPTION galore everywhere.

8. Until we are set free from our SLAVERY MENTALITY across the land; there is no deliverance in sight. (For a better understanding of this SLAVERY MENTALITY problem; I recommend SAM ADEYEMI'S book called: THE SECOND REVOLUTION.)

I think my specs are quite clear.
