My mom is actually trying to open a clinical in Ado right now....and its not easy...in fact, the government are not making it easy for her at all....you might want to just save ur money....
i don´t believe you |
automaticcarzz: It is not possible to build a country together when your vote does not count. The will of the people is never respected. A country where rigging of election is the order of the day. A country where election results are prepared before the election takes place.you have a very good point, but come and thing of it,if we all live the country, who will come and change the electoral process??oyibo will never do that,so open your eyes, precise you can be of a very goood help from abroad too,let me give you tree ideas 1)try to look for 200people around your local goverment area who are ready to change your comunity for good and form a solid block to have a presure group, 2)make sure that 70% of the group are people with carreer of something, that can add value to the group 3)try and look for the number or email of your local goverment chairman if you have one or nacional assemble member or house of rep member.after 2years let me see how your voices will not be held.please do something for nigeria for our children to have a place as their home |
Amya: The truth is, those Nigerians that migrate to other country because they want a more quality life are the very reason we will never develop. The oyinbo's that made the west what it is today did not flee their country when it was bad and torn up in wars and other terrible things. Rather they built their country to what they wanted it to be. What we have here now is folks that run at the first sight of trouble. London people developed london, Nigerian people, develop your own country!thats my piontafter second world war, the german scientifics that americans took to america to help them compete with russians then, this scientifics are those who from america designed what you see today as industralised and prosperous germany, the same thing spain, italy, scandinavian countries even south korean, but nigerians if we go to obodo oyibo, those who came back join the thieves in government to continue with the oppresion,i can list you names of nigerians from harvard university to oxford university who have held governmental positions in nigeria and are the highest criminals in nigeria today.so please nigerians with some enterpreneural spirit should come home and start something and great jobs, brain drain will kill africa |
Lol not my generation? how old do you think I am? im pretty sure you are much older than me.....even for my 5 year old daughters generation...Nigeria has already lost...toooo much corruption, religion, cave menish mentality, lack of women and children rights....strong education infrastructure.....arrogance, pride and suffering and smiling syndrome....is killing Nigeria.....200 years from now...Nigeria will be where the U.S is today....damn shame to all Nigerians
some 10years ago i use to thing like you,one day your eye will open, and you will learn that the country that you live abroad was build by people like me and you.if all of us run away, who will build nigeria?? now is our time, we have to do something or remain abroad for ever |
automaticcarzz: It is not easy the way you are looking at it. I have two very young kids between the ages of 4 and 5. Their mother is not a Nigerian and she knows everything about kidnapping and Boko Haram. I have NTA Plus here and she sees everything. So, how do I tell her about visiting Nigeria when she knows about situation in Nigeria? I am building a house in Nigeria and she knows nothing about it.just continue with the building of your house, but please don´t build anything in the village a word is enough for the wise |
You were busy looking for someone to prove you wrong why not spend that time looking up the meaning of comfort or comfortable? Your own defi of it might be different to a whole lot of guys abroad. To some comfort is simply having constant electricity, clean water supply, hospital, good roads and traveling any day any time, etc It's baffles me how some of you back in Nigeria expect someone that's use to a working system to just wake up and come back to Nigeria while some/most of you there live in Lagos, Abuja, PH, and had never visited your own village in years! Why? Because you might be uncomfortable there!
thats not enough reason to mortgage your hold live abroad, although you make some sense. |
automaticcarzz: Imagine their mentality, bro. Indians, Chinese, and Nigerians are the most educated and professional immigrants in the U.S. If Nigeria was that great, why do Nigerians go to U.S, U.K, and Canadian Embassies everyday seeking immigrant visas? Why would anyone turn down the chance to have access to good education, electricity, healthcare, security, and healthy environment? That is what the western countries offer immigrants who are educated and ready to contribute to the society and not become a burden to the system.that is because your friend don´t have enough money. if not, somebody how earns 4million naira in nigeria of today can take goodcare of his family in nigeria.but 4million naira for family of tree children in us is too small for their up bringing |
Ma Nig...I dont even live in the U.K....and i use negro all the time...instead of trying to show off the little..to nothing that Nigeria has....it would be best for Nigerians to be humble and seek for advice from developed countries and Diasporas telling them to stay away...wont help Nigeria's situation..chalay....but i have to be honest with you...i dont see Nigeria ever becoming a country fit for 21 century...Nigerians are just toooo damn corrupted and inefficient...but I guess this kinda situation is good for some people...not me
not your generation but my generation must enjoy good education good healthcare good security and good infrastructure in nigeria.my fathers generation was a failed and ignorant generation, who had several wife´s and children with out means of livelihood, what do you inspect??we most change our slave and neocolonial mentality, for me im going back home in 4years time, after 21years in europe |
laoma15: Its high time Nigerians set their Values right. We hear the same story everyday. Nigeria! Nigeria!! Nigeria!!!. Could it have been a curse? Anywhere you turn to its all negative thing about Nigeria both home and abroad. We need to go back to the drawing board as a Nation. If not Yahoo Yahoo boys, it will be suicide bombers or prostitution, drug peddling, Murder e.t.c. why so much emphasis on money in Nigeria? Are we the only poor nation on earth? This is the time for stringent Policy formulation by Nigeria Government. It is true that these folks are British citizen, but rememberer that they have Nigeria blood flowing in their veins. This is a shameful act that should be condemned by all and sundry. All that average Nigeria is concern about is to Build mansion, ride in a big car and have Naira to throw around. Is that what live is all about? Nigerians spend money like sand outside the country whenever they go shopping and the Nation is in shamble. No security, No Job. Where are we heading to as a nation? What future does our youths have? Selfishness and greed is the order of the day. This is common on our roads, dare to traffic and come rushing like mad people. blasting horns like crazy. Cant we think and act like a normal humans? where is love? what are the churches and mosques doing about the lost of value and morale decadence in the society? Nigerians THINK!!! Don't make the Whole world hate your people.you are right on the moral decay of our society, having one of the highest number of churches and mosques in the world and no moralities to learn from, but please don´t forget the ruling class, they also have some very percentage of blame too |
Desola: God bless you real good!we are not like that please,we just have bad leadership and that translates to 75% of our problems |
Krucifax: We should all stop trying to deny what the reality of the situation is. Yesterday some Nairalanders were putting op posts denying that they are Nigerians etc.bolded,,thats what you have when you don´t have solid institutes inplace to cheak your people, blame the political elites in nigeria for not investing in education and also when you have youths in 21century in nigeria who still believes in fetish and religious things, instead to channel our brains to science and tecnology or even entrepreneurial spirit. |
These guys are just two out of tens of thousands of converts to Islam in UK. This murder is just one of many others that are committed in UK and the murderers belong to all faiths. So keep your jaundiced view to yourself. The incident itself reveals two facts - i. murder has been committed; and ii. what michael said after the killing is undeniable truth - British forces, who are christians, murdered hundreds of innocent muslim women, children and men in Iraq. please read the bolded there is no justification for what this fool micheal did |

hardbody: Must you ascribe everything negative to this country? How does what has just happened affect the judiciary? From what i read, they said the proprietor was handed over to the police, do you have judges or even magistrates sitting at police stations? has the guy been charged to court?too much grammer, do we have judiciary in nigeria??just try and tell me two institudes that work in the hold federation??you are here blowing grammer, don´t you know that our judiciary is part of our the biggest problems we have in nigeria?? |
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi on a book Launch In Lagos. “Let me start by saying that I am Fulani (laughter). My grandfather was an Emir and therefore I represent all that has been talked about this afternoon. Sir Ajayi has written a book. And like all Nigerians of his generation, he has written in the language of his generation.” “My grandfather was a Northerner, I am a Nigerian. The problem with this country is that in 2009, we speak in the language of 1953. Sir Olaniwun can be forgiven for the way he spoke, but I cannot forgive people of my generation speaking in that language.” “Let us go into this issue because there are so many myths that are being bandied around. Before colonialism, there was nothing like Northern Nigeria, Before the Sokoto Jihad, there was nothing like the Sokoto caliphate. The man from Kano regards himself as bakane. The man from Zaria was bazazzage. The man from Katsina was bakatsine. The kingdoms were at war with each other. They were Hausas, they were Muslims, and they were killing each other. “The Yoruba were Ijebu, Owo, Ijesha, Akoko, Egba. When did they become one? When did the North become one? You have the Sokoto Caliphate that brought every person from Adamawa to Sokoto and said it is one kingdom. They now said it was a Muslim North.” “The Colonialists came, put that together and said it is now called the Northern Nigeria. Do you know what happened? Our grand fathers were able to transform to being Northerners. We have not been able to transform to being Nigerians. The fault is ours. Tell me, how many governors has South-West produced after Awolowo that are role models of leadership? How many governors has the East produced like Nnamdi Azikiwe that can be role models of leadership? How Manygovernors in the Niger Delta are role models of leadership? Tell me. There is no evidence statistically that any part of this country has produced good leaders. You talk about Babangida and the economy. Who were the people in charge of the economy during Babangida era? Olu Falae, Kalu Idika Kalu. What state are they from in the North?” “We started the banking reform; the first thing I heard was that in Urobo land, that there will be a curse of the ancestors. I said they (ancestors) would not answer. They said why? I said how many factories did Ibru build in Urobo land? So, why will the ancestors of the Urobo people support her?” “We talk ethnicity when it pleases us. It is hypocrisy. You said elections were rigged in 1959, Obasanjo and Maurice Iwu rigged election in 2007. Was it a Southern thing? It was not.” “The problem is: everywhere in this country, there is one Hausa, Ibo, Yoruba and Itshekiri man whose concern is how to get his hands on the pile and how much he can steal.Whether it is in the military or in the civilian government, they sit down, they eat together. In fact, the constitution says there must be a minister from every state.” “So, anybody that is still preaching that the problem of Nigeria is Yoruba or Hausa or Fulani, he does not love Nigeria. The problem with Nigeria is that a group of people from each and every ethnic tribe is very selfish. The poverty that is found in Maiduguri is even worse than any poverty that you find in any part of the South. The British came for 60 years and Sir Ajayi talked about few numbers of graduates in the North (two at independence) . What he did not say was that there was a documented policy of the British when they came that the Northerner should not be educated. It was documented. It was British colonial policy. I have the document. I have published articles on it. That if you educate the Northerner you will produce progressive Muslim intellectuals of the type we have in Egypt and India. So, do not educate them. It was documented. And you say they love us (North).” “I have spent the better part of my life to fight and Dr. (Reuben) Abati knows me. Yes, my grandfather was an Emir. Why was I in the pro- democracy movement fighting for June 12? Is (Moshood) Abiola from Kano ? Why am I a founding director of the Kudirat Initiative for Nigerian Development (KIND)? “There are good Yoruba people, good Igbo people, good Fulani people, good Nigerians and there are bad people everywhere. That is the truth.” “Stop talking about dividing Nigeria because we are not the most populous country in the world. We have all the resources that make it easy to make one united great Nigeria . It is better if we are united than to divide it.” “Every time you talk about division, when you restructure, do you know what will happen? In Delta Area, the people in Warri will say Agbor, you don’t have oil. When was the Niger Delta constructed as a political entity? Ten years ago, the Itshekiris were fighting the Urobos. Isn’t that what was happening? Now they have become Niger Delta because they have found oil. After, it will be, if you do not have oil in your village then you cannot share our resources.” “There is no country in the world where resources are found in everybody’s hamlet. But people have leaders and they said if you have this geography and if we are one state, then we have a responsibility for making sure that the people who belong to this country have a good nature.” “So, why don’t you talk about; we don’t have infrastructure, we don’t have education, we don’t have health. We are still talking about Fulani. Is it the Fulani cattle rearer or is anybody saying there is no poverty among the Fulani?” This is a great message to our generation. Are we truly ready to develop and unite Nigeria? http://abusidiqu.com/?p=12797 |

Lanspower: I disagree that he failed at Madrid. He is just a perfect example of an ideal coach who makes technical decisons without considering any player or group of players too big. It's a pity that Barca are already declining this time and that might be the only safing grace for Madrid next season and beyond. Not many coach could challenge the brilliance and wide popularity of Barca like Mou. Beleive it or not, La Liga has lost and icon and Elclassico has lost its class!if only you know EL CLASSICO before jose mou,you will not write that. |

This is how Vanguard Online reported this sad news: THE Imo State Police Command has recovered the remains of a 78-year-old woman, Mrs. Lucy Osigweh, who was declared missing in 2003. Making the revelation, yesterday, state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Katsina, disclosed that the woman’s lifeless body was found in a large cupboard inside a shrine located in her son’s private room. Katsina said: “The missing woman’s lifeless body was found in a village called Ezuru Umuagwu, Ejemekwuru, Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.” According to him, “the corpse of the 78-year-old Mrs. Osigweh, earlier declared missing in 2003, was found in a large cupboard inside a shrine of a private room in a circumstance depicting ritual practice. “The embalmed body, which was kept in that condition for about 10 years, was believed to have been placed in the warehouse by her son, Chief Chimezie Osigweh, a 64-year-old retired school principal.” The Imo police boss said there was every reason to believe that the late woman’s son is a member of a sect, adding: “Preliminary assessment of the scene of crime revealed that the late woman must have been murdered by her son for ritual purpose.” Katsina also said members of the sect used to hold secret nocturnal meetings in the place to enhance their occultic powers. “The principal suspect, Chief Chimezie Osigweh, who is the son of the woman, has been arrested and is making useful statement to the police,” the CP said. Although Katsina did not say how the police got wind of the crime, feelers from the late woman’s maiden home, Amakohia, Awa, Oguta local council area, showed that they made the startling discovery. A villager, who spoke on grounds of anonymity, said that angered by the unresolved and inexplicable disappearance of their relation from her marital home, some villagers decided to double check earlier stories bandied by Osigweh. According to a villager, “on getting to Ejemekwuru, our people demanded to know why their relations had remained missing for 10 years. Her son told our villagers that his mother was mad at a point and ran away to unknown place. “Apparently not satisfied with the response, as well as the nonchalant attitude allegedly exhibited by her son, the villagers went beserk, destroying things in sight and ended up spotting the large cupboard containing the remains of their loved one. “With this startling discovery, the villagers quickly lodged a complaint with the police who subsequently swung into action.”http://www.toniaodili.com/2013/05/shocking78-year-old-womans-corpse-found.html?m=0 |
