All the igbos i know for this obodo america will be speaking english like they are descendants of the british throne

I can make sentences but cant carry a full conversation in igbo and I am deeply worried. I pretty much understand like 50% cos my parents did speak to me but i was never obliged to respond in kind plus when u grow up in a place like warri where even the so called indigenes only speak pdigin and not their own language will it be an nwa oshimili that will come and speak igbo properly?
