Politics › Re: 2023: South East Will Vote Chibuike Amaechi Of APC Over Atiku Of PDP- Facts by Igboid: 10:10pm On Apr 09, 2022
I actually agree with Ebubu.
Amaechi is not actually a choice for Ndiigbo and SE.

Politics is all about interests and not emotions.
Amaechi and. Ikwerre are not Igbo.
We should be ready to work with any devil( be they Yoruba or North) that is ready to gurantee our interests.

Voting Amaechi an Ikwerre man, whose emergence will block our future path, and who will throw us under the bus to curry favor from same Yorubas and the North, will be another display of Buffoonery from Ndiigbo.

It will not be well with all these Igbos who have been bought by Amaechi and who are willing to sell the rest of us, just to put food on their own table.

In APC, we are waiting for Umahi to start active campaigning, or for Ogbonnaya Onu or Okorocha to step forward.
If they don't, then we should cut a deal with anyone who emerges in APC that is not Amaechi, and negotiate with them as plan B, in case PDP don't give us the ticket.

You are obviously a troll.

Ndiigbo are not the ones attaching to Ikwerre or Amaechi.
It is rather the other way round.

Also the Bini-Yoruba example is dumb.
Bini speak totally unintelligible language from Yoruba. This is not the same with Ikwerre and Igbo.

Politics › Re: Just In : Amaechi Joins Presidential Contest by Igboid: 2:51pm On Apr 02, 2022
Amaechi has no Political base true true.
Amaechi and Ikwerre is not Igbo. So he will not get Igbo votes, no matter how much he clowns around on Isiagu clothes and speak Igbo.

Amaechi candidature will effectively be a South South presidency.
But the problem is that South South have Political blocs and it's not yet Ikwerre turn.
SS Political blocs:

1. Ijaw
2. Akwa/Cross
3. Edo
4. Urhobo
5. Anioma
etc.

Amaechi emergence will mean pushing other power blocs higher than them in that ranking to the backyard and would mean they could have to wait for a lifetime before next presidency will return to SS to take their own turn.
So I wager that the above power blocs in SS will not work against SS president of Ikwerre extraction, but they will also not be too eager to embrace it.
Many groups will look for where their bread will be buttered and Amaechi will not be able to get a consensus/Bloc vote from SS.
In SE, he will not get more than 1% votes as Ndiigbo are currently focused on getting an Igbo president or atleast a compromise VP that could set us up in pole position for presidency in the next rounds.

In conclusion, APC would have committed a Political blunder if they pick Amaechi to represent them, same as PDP with Wike.

Shouldn't this be the job of OHANAEZE Ndiigbo.
I mean finding ways to raise funds, send delegates to far flung Igbo communities like Isobo, try to solve one or two of their basic needs and stamp it with "Donated by Ohanaeze Ndiigbo" sign post.
They raise funds from private and companies and build one central borehole for each of those three Isobo communities.
Then do small renovation or rebuilding work on their community primary and secondary school and also provide basic things like lab equipments and some good textbooks for the libraries.

Even Yorubas didn't seize our assets and call them abandoned properties but someone you claim is your brother connived with others to steal our properties in P.H! We can strike a deal with his Ika brethren, they're better than the ikwerre.
Since when has Emefiele and Ika people become Igbo?
The only Igbos I know in Delta are the Enu-ani (Aniocha/Oshimili).
If Ika and Emefiele say they are Igbo, let Onu Ika release a public communique proclaiming their Igbo identity and have it published in atleast four major newspapers.
This is something Ohanaeze ought to have done long ago to stop all these mushroom groups denigrating Ndiigbo while trying to have their cake and eat it.

Buhari got accused of Marginalizing Ndiigbo from his appointments in 2016. Buhari came out and claimed that he has many Igbos in his cabinet and mentioned Emefiele and Ibe Kachiukwu.
Ibe Kachiukwu comes from Onicha Ugbo in Enu-ani whose king proudly proclaims the Igbo identity of the town, so we can understand Kachiukwu being called Igbo, because he is Igbo and we know where his allegiance lies.https://www.nairaland.com/3805117/history-enu-ani-igbo-people-onicha-ugbo

But Emefiele comes from Agbor, a place where it's people and King take pleasure in insulting and denying being Igbo.
Yet when Buhari said that Agbor son Emefiele is representing Igbo quota in his cabinet, Agbor people and King, including the Igbophobic Onu Ika all kept quiet.
None of them came out to tell Buhari that they are not Igbo. Because at that moment, claiming Igbo offered them an opportunity.

And of course, because Ohanaeze Ndiigbo have not done their homework earlier, they too couldn't come out to deny Agbor and Emefiele as we should have.
So in the end, Agbor people remain Igbophobic while still managing to reap benefits of being Igbo. And the loser in this con game are the Igbos whose quota gets snatched by a people who openly bash us at will.

This is my grouse with Ohanaeze Ndiigbo their incompetence have shortchanged all Igbo clans whose loyalty lie with Ndiigbo, because it has allowed Igbophobic Opportunists grab things that could have otherwise been reserved for Igbos. By now, Ohanaeze should have demanded that all Igbo speaking communities outside SE who want to be part of Igbo nation "MUST" release a public communique to be published in all Newspapers proclaiming their Igbo identity and signed by their Ezes and their town union presidents and apex organizations ( Onu Ika, Ogbakor Ikwerre, etc).
Any town that couldn't comply to this, should be promptly excommunicated from Igbo nation.
This way we can get a well defined boundary of REAL IGBOLAND, ie those whose allegiance we can count on and not Opportunists. And whenever anyone from these places whose allegiance is not to us try to play the Opportunism game, we can actually come down on such persons hard and disgrace the hell out of them.

I made sure he understands thats Ikwerre and never Igbo...he wanted to label it Igbo dance and use it to mock me in front of Jamaicans and African Americans. I rejected it like a curse....Chukwu aju!

I have watched a lot of Ikwerre video to see one single thing about them that shows elegance , grace nor aristocracy but nothing....these people are worthless and untop of it feeling funky....WTF. IPOB gave them too much confidence. Their culture is at best inferior....i will not touch them with a long pole.
Well, the waist dance thing I must confess is embarrassing.
But I wouldn't say their culture is inferior. No culture is Inferior to the other
And you are right about IPOB role in inflating their egos.
But Ohanaeze have always had them in Igbo organizations before IPOB started their own wahala.
So I think the Ikwerre issue is a collective Igbo problem that we all at one point or the other all contributed to creating.
If you go through this my handle and other handles you will see threads where I was busy defending Ikwerre Igbo identity.
I embarrassingly fell for their con game led by the likes of Aguma, Okwukwu and Amaechi who have all infiltrated Ohaneze Ndiigbo.

I guess we all wake up at different times. I woke up in 2015 to their games.
It's going to take every other Igbo time to wake up to it too, but I hope to help in accelerating the awakening process, so that we can flush out those spies off our gatherings, set boundaries and heal ourselves again.
In 2017 after Wike took up microphone and pointed leprous fingers at Ndiigbo during Rivers State 50yrs anniversary, accusing us of invading Rivers State and Gowon praised as liberator of Ikwerre and Rivers. I raised a big alarm to IPOB people here.
See the thread:https://www.nairaland.com/4232285/wike-secondus-vs-yoruba-pdp
But they all labelled me Afonja until Wike fully manifested his Igbophobic self in Obiigbo, that was when IPOB got the message I was passing across since 2017.
Our people tend to be too emotional and less calculative and hence easily fall preys to simple sociopolitical manipulations of other Nigerian groups.
We must start doing better.

Maybe I exaggerated a bit saying Ikwerres would issue a stern warning to ibos, however, I can bodly predict that the Ikwerres would definitely pronounce it an Ikwerre presidency directly or indirectly, most likely back it up in all paid Newspaper pages. Specifically, several ikwerre groups would congratulate him and refer to him as their son to the discontent of ibos.
I think they will play the carrot and stick game.
While Ogbakor Ikwerre will be congratulating him as their son.
The likes of Uche Okwukwu who works as their agents in Ohaneze Ndiigbo will be massaging Igbo ego and working on Igbo easily tuned emotions by telling them that Ikwerre is Igbo and Amaechi is one of Igbo people.

Both the Ikwerre in Ohanaeze Ndiigbo and those in Ogbakor Ikwerre will meet in their secret places and have a healthy laugh about the folly and gullibility of the average Igbo man.
Amaechi will continue to speak from both sides of the mouth. He will declare Igbos the foundation of his administration, which is a way of saying that Igbos will be used as his shield against attacks from other Nigerians.
Igbos will embrace him and will bear the brunt of his administration actions as other Nigerians will call him Igbo. At every giving opportunity, he will also remind Nigerians that he is Ikwerre and not Igbo.

Meanwhile Amaechi will be busy having meetings with his Igbophobic Ogbakor Ikwerre people behind scenes. Wike actions at Obiigbo will be child's play to what he would do because he will always want to prove to other Nigerians that he really isn't Igbo. SE will hardly get FG projects( take a cue to how SE was skipped in the Chinese loan projects under Amaechi ministry before we all raised uproars in the social media) instead, he will empower few Greedy Igbos with contracts and posts in his cabinet, who will go about telling us how Amaechi is Igbo and is protecting our interests.

If we were talking about Lagos you don't consider yourselves to be commoners. You are not delegates in party elections in Lagos, whether PDP or APC, the handicap has not stopped you from contesting for office in every election cycle, has it?

I believe Tinubu will win the election. He is that good! Personally I don't want him to win. My grudge with him is his zealotry with Nigeria and patriotism that a unified Nigeria is possible. Yoruba is far more civilized and supreme to a shitty Nigeria. Those we hold in esteem and call leaders ought not to promote Nigeria above Yorubaland. It should be other way around. Tinubu has professed to be a Nigerian first, I therefore think his fate is in the hands of Nigerians, not Yorubas. I am a strongly patriotic Yoruba man. My patriotism to Nigeria is in an order beneath my patriotism to other Yorubalands in West Africa and diaspora. I will support Ketu or Porto Novo in Benin Republic for example before I support Nigeria.

I say all this to share that unity advocates exist in every ethnic group, those who love Nigeria more than their indigeneous fatherland. You cannot deny Onu but embrace Amaechi, they both are unity lovers and reverence the North. Nevertheless, Igbo should see Onu's eligibility as non-negotiable and rally behind getting him out to the primary.

Stop mentioning Umahi. If Fani Kayode contest against Umahi APC will endorse FFK ahead of Umahi. Drop the idea. Umahi will be a deficit to Ndigbo.
I don't remember any Igbo denying Onu.
Election in Nigeria is a cash and carry thing.
Onu has no money, he hasn't been able to get the opportunity to loot the public treasury like the likes of Amaechi, Tinubu and Umahi who are ex governors.
This is why I think he will struggle to buy APC delegates to win the primaries.
Umahi has the financial muscle to do that to some extent.

I understand you are scared of Amaechi and is somewhat Happy to see the Igbos not back him.
You should enjoy it and stop all these funny games mbok.

Amaechi will be a bad market for APC.
His emergence will alienate SW from APC and will see the region show apathy to voting on election day.
SE will not vote Amaechi either as he doesn't protect our own interests being a non Igbo and from Ikwerre, we believe SS have had their turn with our support and should out of magnanimity support SE and Ndiigbo and not come to us again for support.

Wike will not give Amaechi a breathing space in Rivers State as well.
So APC with Amaechi will not even be sure of clearing SS.
It's a lose lose situation.

PDP will just coast to victory.
The whole Amaechi permutation is based on Igbos embracing him and allowing him use the SE as a launching pad to make inroads into other parts of SS.

The permutation have not put into consideration that the Igbo younger generation are fed up with Ikwerre shenanigans and will no longer tolerate them like the old Igbo generation did and are doing.
