Politics › Re: Northerners Mention The Only Candidate In APC That Can Defeat Atiku by Igboid: 2:54pm On May 29, 2022
gammarays1:
Raw fact is
Goodluck Jonathan with a strong Northern vp is the solution.

Peter Obi, Wike, SS, SE, Middle belt will embrace him naturally.

Tinubu, SW will have to negotiate for a soft landing as usual and support.

Atiku is a force but his influence will be checkmeted with the non PDP power brokers in the North.

Nigeria is in serious shit anyway. Nothing good about the country.
Nah! SE will not embrace any southern candidate that is not from SE.
Why should we embrace injustice against ourselves?
Even if others deny us justice, why should we help them do that?
GEJ will be pelted with satchet water and booed if he dare comes to SE to campaign for presidency.
After supporting him in two presidential elections, he owes SE support to produce a president of our own and not join ranks with those who sworn to serve us injustice by taking our turn and relegating us to irrelevance.

Osinbajo will loose badly in the SE and may also loose in the SS.
The only candidate APC can deploy is Amachi. He will win the SE and SS, and the middle belt. If the SW play along and support him, he's the next president
When will you guys get it?
SE will not vote for anyother Southern president that is not from SE.
We would rather power stay in the North.

EmemObong03:
Without any sentiment, Tinubu is not marketable.
The best option is for him to step down for the VP Osibanjo which is Nationally accepted and will wrestle Atiku toe to toe
Nationally accepted? Maybe in SS and SW, but definitely not in SE.
The common ground in SE is that we will NEVER vote for anyother Southern presidential candidate that is not from SE.
Instead we will continue voting for the North until SS and SW agrees that fairness is to support SE presidency.

Isiguzoro represents only his pocket.

He is probably waiting for Atiku to come and settle him and his group.
No one takes him and his faction of Ohanaeze serious.
They all kept quiet when Ikpeazu and Ugwuanyi were openly campaigning for a non Igbo aspirant like Wike.

Even if Obi wins, he would face a house and a senate filled with APC and PDP members all ready to frustrate him well well well.
He is used to that.
As a governor of Anambra, he ruled over a state house of assembly filled with PDP members.
Only a governor or president looking to loot will be looking for a house full of his party men.

Very good bargaining chip in our quest for Biafra of only Igbos.
And a knife straight to the heart of the "Awa Oyel" and "Ibo want Awa Oyel" people. This news go pain them more.

We should discover more.
Enugu, Abia(North ie Umunneochi/Isuikwuato) Ebonyi and Imo(Okigwe) all forming part of the Okigwe highlands are all sitting on humongous amount of shale oil.

The future of Igboland is really bright.

MadamExcellency:
He is Ngwa from Abia Central Senatorial Zone. It not Ngwa from Abia South Senatorial Zone. There are three Ngwa LGAs in Abia Central with other 3 LGAs making them 6 LGAs.
It is not the turn of Abia central by the zoning formula.
Abia North is next in line.
Do you know this?

Moreover, Ukwa East and West are not Ngwa, they are independent groups called Ndoki and Asa respectively, and they as a matter of fact resent Ndi Ngwa.

Ngwa LGAs:

Obingwa
Isiala Ngwa South
Isiala Ngwa North
Aba South
Aba North
Osisioma
Ugwunagbo.

That's 7 LGAs out of 17 in the state.Ngwa people alone can not dictate for the rest of 10 LGAs in Abia.
Moreover, there is also a heavy non Abia Igbo elements in Abia State, and they are not always pro Ngwa.

Imho, trying to destroy Abia zoning formula, will backfire on Ndi Ngwa.

The rotation is Abia North to Abia central to Abia South and then back to Abia North and the cycle continues.
Why change it out of greed for power?

LOVEALAIGBO:
This is the glaring fact these bigots choose to ignore! How fair is it that a 100% Igbo territory is cut in two, with the part more rich in hydrocarbons placed in a ethnically heterogeneous state for non-Igbo and Igbo deniers to manage!?

I know most of the people happy with this judgment (besides the non-Igbo in Rivers state) are the Fulani and Yoruba! Now my question to them is…would they tolerate this if a hegemonic and vindictive Igbo-controlled central gov’t took a hydrocarbon rich Fulani or Yoruba land….divided kinsfolk in two (a la Egbema), and then proceeded to place the hydrocarbon rich part of the same village in another state/region to be administered in trust for said Igbo hegemony by Fulani/Yoruba haters and deniers!? The answer to this rhetorical question is either a YES or a NO….no ifs or buts!
It is really a grave injustice and the pains Ndiigbo must bear for losing a brutal war.
We must never forgive or forget those who all connived to deliver this injustice on us.

Anambra does not have gas. Anambra basin is different from Anambra. It's oil that Anambra has. Nigeria has about 207trillion cubic of gas, Imo state alone has not less than 200trillion. Abia also has a small quantity of the remainder portion.

Politics › Re: 2023: Despite His Hate For Igbo, Ikpeazu Decided To Support Wike - Udensi by Igboid: 6:01pm On Apr 26, 2022
Waneri:
It all started immediately the europeans created Nigeria..
The Ibo political class who are mostly from the present day Anambra and Enugu decided to make the old eastern region a one ethnic region.
The western region tried the same.. but it failed too resulting to the creation of Midwest region..

In the eastern region .. when they asked the groups who the were the refused to identify as Igbo.. they rather identify as Ndoki (Ukwa), Izon(Ijo), Etche, Ngwa, Ibibio, iwhnuruoha, Efik etc.
But this did not go down well with the Igbo leaders, who actually new if the don't stop them, the east will disintegrate.

There was a new agenda to send some of their kinsmen to igbonize this groups..
The made it possible for them to get jobs at the detriment of the indigenes.
The aim was for the indigenes to become poor as sees the igbos as a group the should imitate.
It worked for a while. But suddenly attracted envy when some of this minority became educated and civilized and attempted to change the status quo which also failed.

This caused the domination of Aba, and Port Harcourt (which was the only Important province and sub province then) by foreigners.
The foreigners also changed some names that did not suit well with them.
Aba being an important city was changed from Abah Ngwa to Abah alone, Ugwulagbo was changed to Ugwunagbo etc
Same thing was done to the Ikwere people.

The civil war served as an avenue for the indigenes that rejected the igbo identity to distanced them selves from igbo.
The Ikwere people decided to return their town names to the original names.
But they unfortunately went as far as creating new names that were neither Ikwere nor igbo in their bid to distanced them selves from igbo.

Igbos should understand that igboid language does not belong to them only..
The Ikwere should also understand that they have been speaking igboid language before the igbos came. Even though they igbos tried to force their own dialect of Igbo on them.

I believe that we are all from the same origin and we are all related.
But we don't share a general name.
Just like Ibibio, Efik, Annang etc the are the same people but they don't have a general name .. same with all igboid groups..
Other than normal beer parlour yarns.
Can you provide just one verifiable document by a neutral party that proves that Ndiigbo ever tried to Igbonize non Igbos in Eastern region?

Do you really know how Igbo society works?

The event of 1966 was the main reasons why Igbo will hardly be trusted with power anytime sooner because when Tafawa Balewa was Prime Minister of Nigeria;
Chief of Army Staff was from SE
Chief of Naval Staff was from SE
IG of Police was from SE
Chief of Defence Staff was from SE
Internal Affairs Minister SE
External Affairs Minister SE
Education Minister South SE
Many other key ministries to SE
Parliament President SE
Unilag VC from SE
The University of Ibadan VC from SE
North resisted same at ABU!
Still, there was dissatisfaction by SE, the officers from the region killed this same Balewa!!!!
Out of all the most senior officers in Nigeria, SE has 37, none was killed. 8 from the north, all of them were killed. 10 from the west, 2 were killed.
To make it worse, Ironsi imposed a unitary system of government on the country so that everything can belong to a region who snatched it and let the coupist left unpunished. Honestly, those officers set a bad precedent to the entire Igbo despite having handful of good people who are capable of making this country better if given chance to rule.
Chief of Naval staff in 1964-75 = Commodore J.E.A Wey.
He isn't Igbo.
Chief of Army staff in 1963- 65 was John Alexander McKenzie. Ironsi took over in 1965.
IG of police in 1964-66 was Luis Edet.
Infact Mike Okilo in 2007 was Igbos first ever IG of police in Nigeria.
Internal Affairs minister in 1966 was Shehu Shagari, he replaced Usman Sarki.
Tafawa Balewa doubled as Prime minister and External affairs minister in 1964-66 cabinet.

The Minister of Education in 1964- 66 was Richard Akinjide.
