megxo:We are talking about CARS not TRUCKS. They are ment for different functions. If you want us to talk about trucks even luxurious buses, start the thread. |
190: 190 nkoDont tell me ure still using benz 190. In those days YES but now NO. |
oiseworld: when you say best cars i expect that aaffordability is also a point. So,Have you driven any of these cars on long distance? say lagos to maiduguri, gombe or yola nonstop within a day? I have driven all these cars except nissan on the distance i mentioned. The difference is when ure on 160kph upward, the stability of FOX tend to increase especially at bends or when you run into heavy potholes, in fact you'll experience a wavy windy sensation with toyota and honda cars and you'll have to change your driving shafts when you get to your destination. |
Cityguy: 406 any day. Performance, comfort, style and reliability. Cuts through like hot knife in butter. Trust me, i know what i'm talking about. You are very correct 406 or FOX is the car anyday, especially if youre a long distance traveller. Transmission, suspension, fuel economy, mantenance, ac system, just name it. The engine system so superb that when ure on 5th gear you think ure still in 2nd gear. You cant miss the unique body design when you come across it on highways even at night the headlamp and foglights announce it majesty as FOX the KING of nigeria roads. I have been using it for close to 4years now and it has not disappointed me for once. |
gej has further confirmed that he is not a schoolboy but an errandboy in the hands of pdp moneybags. His speech sound passuasive without element of authority. This is something i missed about obj. |
why not sport kits like boxing gloves and headguide a mini basketball set that in can hand in their compond. a football, jersey and boot. a baseball kits, swimming kits. This will develop outdoor and sporting interest in children. |
really you dont need it but remenber our leaders are so confused and may ask for irrelevant documents just to prove they are in charge. pls go with all academic/ non academic docs such as phcn bills, C of O, proof of ownership, fare tickets etc. goodluck. |
Let not misinterpret the intention of the poster. attending university does not guarantee sucess or failure in life rather the individual thirst for sucess. However, from every aspect of our economy, government has demonstated the superiority of bsc grads over hnd grads which is not proper. I do not blame the private sector because there are few job oppurtunities with several applicants. For instance, HND grad cannot apply for national scholarship in a country where your parent pay tax even if you have distinction. Job advert in federal establishments clearly emphasis bsc applcants. we are not here to criticise schools but i have seen several uni grads who can not construct simple sentenses not to talk of intelligent discussions and i have seen similar trend in poly grads also. even our leaders, how many of them merit the university certs they are displaying. summarily, the whole issue boil down to leadership decay, we cant get it right unless we go back to basics, basics in this instance refer to sovereign national conference. |
I've just seen part-2 of this movie, when is part-3 coming out? But wait a minute, gej got all the blame in part-1, is it not just fair to praise him in part-2? For me I wount because all na PDP arrangement, and gej is one of the actors acting his role in the grand script. |
lee007:whao, this is indeed a wonderful poem, it is the summary of Nigeria and jonathan. I wish you could paste it in several websites especially jonathan fb homepage. |
why do some people think civil protest will lead to civil disturbances? what do we call the disturbances during campaign for election. Have we forgotten the road blockages and baricades when jonathan came to campaign in lagos and other cities in the country? my advice to jonathan/pdp apologist is to avoid the protest venue on that day, reason why you were notified on time. The truth is we all know where federal govt stands on national issues that affects mases, but it will be foolish if federal government refused to acknowledge the stance of the mases. By the way, has anyone seen or used any of jonathan palliative buses? because am yet to see one. |
JONATHAN is busy consulting with PATIENCE and you are here waiting for his speech. Dont you realize he will be too tired to make any speech afterwards? |
Dead or alive, he is useless to this generation. His PA should inform him that the sorrow he gave us is still very fresh in our hearts. May his HAND WORKS continue to follow him and his family. Did I hear someone say AMEN. |
frosbel:Your comment does not represent someone that resides in a politically matured city of london even though your location shows that. If you realy want to pray for mr president, pls do that in your house, nobody is interested in reading your prayers. |
Now i know why goverment refused to properly fund education sector - so that they can feed our ears with rubbish. IMO if govt remove subsidy and buy buses to cushion d effect of subsidy removal, where are they getting d money to buy and maintain those buses? I'd rather think of it as deregulation of oil section to subsidise transport sector. These buses, will they be available for use by trader from up north to south usually on night journeys and farmers in my village to bring thier produce to town? I just hope the buses are not for PDP card carrying members only. |
maclatunji:You are insinuating that what happened is no big deal, maybe because we are reading it on NL. For me, no big deal if the husband is aware, but for him to discover after 10 years means he's not meant to know about it; except you mean a man does not a right to know about his wife's projects and affairs. Assuming there is an issue on that property before he discovered, the man will look irresponsible before everyone. A woman who exhibit such should not be trusted, and you cannot be too sure if she is not involved in cheating or illegality; in fact the man needs to re ascertain the true paternity of their children. |
There is no reason good enough to treat her husband that way. The house they live together for 10 years? I don't see any reason to continue in the marriage. This is a trust issue and lack of love. imo. |
very simple, nobody dey look me. I will just pick it with my fingers, load it, wash my hand and keep quiet. |
What rubbish, Being a fool should not be misconstrued for being a gentleman. If a lady/woman is manner-less to slap me under whatever guise, she had better prepared for the consequences. |
must you dance with ladies? note: ''not who danceth with but who taketh away'' |
This forum is not a General Hospital, if you need medical help go see your doctor. that is the only way to find out. Why are you having pre-marital sex without protection? you better prepare for the consequence of your actions. |
phreakabit:please pardon him, he is just a ''crying baby'' let him cry all he can, afterall babies don't write well when they are crying. |
while condemning the crime, I blame the poor lady for lack of survival instincts. How can a pretty lady talk to strangers in a lonely classroom when the rain was heavy? it wasn't as if they attacked her in her house. Their looks and dressing must have sent danger signals to her brain. she should have run away from the classroom even if a precious hairdo will get wet. she cant claim she's not aware of the negative tendencies of her environment. |
I should think all necessary security clearance should have been done at the border post not inside the country. How can they be lost in the desert for three week, no commercial vehicle will embark on desert trip if he is not sure of the route especially when the bus went from Nigeria to pick passengers. Something is not adding up in the story. |
publicity or not, lip service or not, those at that forum has made their position known to the public. we cannot get it right in one day, but we must start from somewhere. lmagine if all the northern governors maintain similar positions on those issues raised, the outcome would have been great. |
There some fact that we are not privy to in this case. If baba kazeem is an OPC leader, surely he must have tested d bullet proof charm before using it. My take is that he must have eating or did something that neutralized the potent of d charm. worst case, it could be a set up to eliminate him. OPC dont test their charms in beer palours. Whoever is too naive to belief such does not exist should go and read sgt.rogger's confession on attack on Pa. Abraham Adesanya during abacha's rule. |
The move cannot be said to be entirely a wrong one but surely it is a right move in the right direction. With all the security presence in the country, BH still get to do their thing. It means that using force may not stop them. We need a fearless, committed, dedicated and a national leader to initiate a peace talk, and OBJ took it upon himself. I wonder while IBB cannot use his 70th birthday for such initiative rather than destructive criticism or while BUHARI is so much concern about becoming the president even though they are northerners and Muslims. GEJ may appear weak in some national issues but he need positive support from these duo. This move simply demonstrates OBJ's love for this country. |
I will encourage and give her all the support she needed including tips on how to survive the classroom. IMO I will call it self fulfillment. If I discourage her, she might live a life of regret for the rest of her life. Age has nothing to do with education or knowledge seeking once you are mentally ready and physically alert to it. I have two cases in my family. My uncle went back to school at age 70 to complete a mathematical research he abandoned 35yrs earlier because he just cant sit at home and expect death to come. The other one enrolled to study law in Uni.of Abuja when he was a DG despite he had 6 PHD degrees in different fields; reason, he just wanted to know what it feel to be a lawyer before he die. The sad story is that they both died of stroke but fulfilled. |
Let me assume that the matrix is correct and that the largest contribution to GDP is agriculture. Is it not just ideal to channel the unemployed towards agriculture and further improve the GDP. The mad emphasis on certificate education has created unparalleled laziness and redundancy in our nation. If government has refused to help us, cant we help ourselves. God has been so merciful to us this year with excessive rain. |
They are fighting for their pockets not the nation. Where is the source of his data? AGF or NNPC. the caption should have been: SENATE SET TO LEGALLY REQUEST FOR SHARE OF FUEL SUBSIDY LOOT FROM NNPC. |
BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wia u kip TUNDRA n TACOMA
