PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by ikooko(m): 3:04pm On Jun 16, 2011
Correct!!! Government bombing Government.

If government cannot provide security, it can as well promo insecurity.

I think this is part of a grand  plot to scare GEJ to dance along a particular line in favor of a particular clique/region.

Please sing along with me: I LOVE MY COUNTRY I NO GO LIE, NA INSIDE AM I GO LIVE I DIE,

Quote from: mydreamz on Today at 04:12:03 PM

They said womb transplant, not ovary transplant. The oocytes gets fertilized by the spermatozoa to make an ovum which later develops into a fetus, Which grows in the womb/ uterus. The womb is just an incubator, what makes up a fetus is the egg and sperm which is produced in the ovary and testicles respectively.

what is my business with long grammar? The womb that carries the baby owns the child; period.
PoliticsRe: Who Is The Hero Of Democracy? M.k.o Abiola Or Olusegun Obasanjo by ikooko(m): 4:15pm On Jun 15, 2011
Both are Heroes of democracy in Nigeria, though in different capacity.
But I'll vote OBJ because in my perception, Abiola was more interested in other issues contrary to the widely accepted believe about him. unfortunately, He got played out due to ''high level disagreement'' among ''themselves''.
This in my opinion is the reason why MKO's death will not be acknowledged as martyr of democracy beyond SW states.

However, MKO's  philanthropic nature overshadowed his real motives due to the level of poverty in the society. By principle of democracy, MKO contested and won election, and his death boosted the political consciousness of this country. OBJ however was able to re-align the political domination of this country, although hated by majority who failed to understand his philosophy.
FamilyRe: Mother Donates Womb To Daughter! by ikooko(m): 3:07pm On Jun 15, 2011
If the caption is true, then the baby that will be born will be a child to the owner of the womb and not grandchild. and the receiver of the womb will be nothing but an incubator. Am I correct.

Seriously, i think one can start business of ''womb collection'' from those retired women after their menopause. they never gonna need it again.
RomanceRe: 10 Reasons Why I Hate Being A Woman: by ikooko(m): 9:16am On Jun 14, 2011
Soooorryyyyyy.

, what would you write about during pregnancy, child rearing and menopause?

Are you leaving your life for other people? Just ignore such distractions and enjoy yourself, as long as your hubby is not complaining.

Sorry all the same.

PoliticsRe: Compensate Awo By Giving Fcta Ministerial Appointment To Segun Awolowo by ikooko(m): 6:16pm On Jun 13, 2011
Guys come to think of it, How many northerners got their position by merit anyway.
As long as FCT is concerned, Segun Awolowo will never be FCT-minister over a northerner.

Aloy/Emeka, You are not right on your position about Tinubu and Baba Adedibu.
Westerners are too smart for anyone to take dominance over the region as you may think, we respect Tinubu no doubt and other region are not comfortable because he's smart.

Baba Adedibu is not an illiterate as you think, though he did not attend formal education, he acquired a couple of certificates through private classes before his death, in addition he was smart and rugged as a politician. education is not about going to school.
SportsRe: "i’m Sorry About My Performance At The World Cup" - Yakubu by ikooko(m): 4:53pm On Jun 13, 2011
Damn too late.
except yakubu can score 5 goals per march for Nigeria, 10 billion sorry will not erase the trauma.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Had Third Class In Education by ikooko(m): 4:10pm On Jun 13, 2011
Why so much focus on certificate?
Going to school is just to equip you with basic tools and position you better for opportunities in life; it is not in reality the determinant of your success. I have seen many first class student that are not successful, several ICAN holders without good jobs.

Young man, I would advice you look at other angles of life. It is all about what YOU can do to make your life meaningful.
My cousin after graduating with 2.1 in Po.Science told everyone he was never going to use his certificate to get rich. he went into carpentry/furniture making.  He uses his education (not certificate) to make unique designs and get his boys to translate it into beautiful masterpieces. Today he know everything about interior designs, POP designs, Tilling, painting, Household furniture/cabinet making etc. and he is rich.
PoliticsRe: How America Pushed Jonathan To Order Bankole's Arrest - US Diplomatic Cable by ikooko(m): 10:49am On Jun 12, 2011
I just look up d profile of peoplesdaily-online.com, all i see is ethnicity and northern agenda at play.
If espionage is that porous. then reputable news outfit would have aired it.
Bankole is just a pawn in d political chessgame, dont forget, he did not chop d money alone, he shared it among his members, meaning they are jointly and severally liable. They should all be arrested.
Meanwhle, senate did similar illegal increase but nobody is asking question on how they managed it. The episode would have been different if Bankole is a northerner. The more reason why I want this country seperated. Imagine, d history of Nigeria as compiled by some idiot gave credence to the north- so absurd.
Take stock of Nigeria since 1960 and see who has always benefited, and we are here on NL criticising our own- how dumb?
RomanceRe: At What Age Should A Man/Woman Get Married? by ikooko(m): 9:45am On Jun 12, 2011
I suggest 24yrs for ladies and 29yrs for guys.
My reasons,
1. A 24yr old lady has same maturity and exposure with a guy 5yrs older. They will be able to handle issues and take concrete decisions together.
2. They will grow together with their children since they are more or less belong to d same generation.
3.By d time d lady is 50yrs, she has graduate children and probably grand children.
At this age, you can begin to conslidate your empire. The beauty in this is that you are not spending your old age changing pampers and attending PTA meetings like my ibo brothers.
PoliticsRe: Corruption Should Carry Death Sentence by ikooko(m): 5:30pm On Jun 10, 2011
Just 4get it, maybe life imprisonment
So tell me where do you want to start from? believe me it will turn to tribal issue in this country.

All we can do is look for way of making public offices unattractive and improve public awareness.
HealthRe: The Doctor Said She Should Get Married On Time by ikooko(m): 5:09pm On Jun 10, 2011
Be smart, something is not adding up about your babe, I'd better be wrong about my suspicion.

You are 28. why wait for 5 years? There is no law against getting married as a student. children issues can come much later.

but really, which kin guy u be @6, how old was d girl you pot?
BusinessRe: Guaranty Trust Bank New 10-digit Number by ikooko(m): 4:42pm On Jun 10, 2011
sanusi did that to show that he is innovative and nothing more.

what he did was to remove the branch code and reduce the digit for product code.

The implication in future is the product code will be exhausted and banks will have to pay to migrate to other series.
it would have been more meaningful if it has option to migrate to any other bank and consummate your transaction.

same thing happened to network providers, reason why we have 0803; 0703; 0808;  etc etc.
CareerRe: Must Female Bankers Dress Loosely? by ikooko(m): 4:24pm On Jun 10, 2011
I think the poster has complex problem.

1st. Dressing is banks is heavily regulated with sanctions.
2nd. Is it only in banks you see such?
3rd. Nudity is more displayed in churches than banks.

You only see what you want to see;

So what what da Bleep is your stress young-man?

So much love for foreign culture, while they tag ours as primitive, fetish etc etc.
In Yoruba culture, any responsible person who is old enough to be your parent is considered your father/mother.
My father's elder siblings are Big-Daddy/ Big-Mummy, while is younger ones; Daddy/Mummy. All of them look after us.
Honestly, You need to practice this to know the fun in having several daddies and mummies.
PoliticsRe: I Am A Father To All Nigerians - Obasanjo by ikooko(m): 3:18pm On Jun 07, 2011
Surely u don't have to like obj if you cant see beyond your nose. but you need to investigate to understand the damage he did to northern political machineries.
He technically re-apportion political dominance from the power hungry northern elite, to deliver the SW & SS from the political slavery since independence; and all you can do is blab on NL. May God forgive you and deliver us.  angry angry angry

Abeeegiii, make una leave story.

How do you expect a thief to arrest another thief of same gang, when they can simply share the loot?

Even if they arrest him, worst VIP punishment he'll get will be similar to that of Tafa-B or Bode-G. cry cry cry

PoliticsCan The General Public Reject Ministarial Nominees, How? by ikooko(op): 6:04pm On May 25, 2011
In the last couple of days, there has been tactical moves for people to be part of GEJ cabinet. I have seen some of the list on pages of newspaper and honestly a good percentage should be in jail. Punch even publish those who should not be ministers. http://www.punchontheweb.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art20110525545130. Ironically some of these bad guys we still make the final list, and business we just begin as usual.

I know that the composition of the National Assembly will not help matter and so I ask myself, '' Is there a way the general public can influence the removal or inclusion of names on GEJ cabinet?'' How can we mobilize for such course?

This i feel is part of what we can do to make this country better, since we are not Senators/Honourables of NA.
PoliticsRe: Aljazeera Airs A Heartbreaking Program About Lagos(25 May 2011 -Video) by ikooko(m): 5:19pm On May 25, 2011
@ PLAYMODE, we all know that we have issues in Nigeria, but things can only get better. Not everyone in SA, UK, US, is successful, belief me, you are one of the lucky few in SA.

I have nothing against Aljazeera on the issue, they are merely doing their job and we caused it.  for instance, DSTV is SA coy, we pay far more to access it here than the locals in SA. while our own HiTv lost premiership rites to DSTV because they couldn't raise enough money for it. How do you expect a country that do not belief or fully support her citizenry be devoid of such issues. and that is my point with your write  up.

We all need to be proud of our homeland and see what we can do about the misplaced priority of leaders.

What is the fuse about Army kill Police and vice versa. no be brothers dem be?
The caption made headline because two Nigerian forces had a fun-filled day, otherwise, no case.

I do not support either party involved but I think it serve the police right, imagine if the guy was not a military guy.

what about showcasing the propagation of ALMAJIRIS as part of your governor's achievements rather than criticize BRF.

If anyone must criticize BRF, such should showcase his/her governor first. Anyway, I don't see anybody doing that from Ogun state.

@ EKO_ILE thumbs-up.
RomanceRe: Leaving My Wife For Another Woman: Your Views by ikooko(m): 1:12pm On May 25, 2011
@ Poster,

unfortunately you didn't say anything about you social and financial status. A married woman wit two kids is only interested in social and financial security of herself and her kids.

I strongly recommend that you be a MAN and confess to your wife. That is the only way to break the spell. If not, you will be deceiving yourself until she trap you with pregnancy.
NYSCRe: Which Institution Offers The Highest Salary For Nysc Workers by ikooko(m): 1:25pm On May 23, 2011
@ POSTER, a useful NYSC year is one you spend serving yourself except where your country or community paid your education costs, and have provided opportunities for a better life afterwards in terms of good job, security etc.

In as much as i do not object to your quest for more-money, experience in those coys you mention is not as interesting as their TV adverts looks; besides, i do not feel you as having d social muscle to get into those coys. There are so many nameless coys u can add value to your life than those places. ''Think not like a staff, but a boss''

One year service to yourself worth more than 10 years service to someone else, think of life beyond the outdated NYSC scheme.  huh huh huh
