First, the supposed woman later got operated on and it was removed. Second, I know there are fake pastors Inasmuch as fake miracles exist. Third, 'pastor' is only but a nomenclature i.e don't expect the bearer to be above lies or other sins. And fourth, don't call me a liar as regards my comment. I love my mom and respect God's miracles enough never to lie with them. Have a nice day!
Don't mind them ridiculous atheists. If they've never received a miracle, no one else has. What ignoble behavior.
Politics › Re: Bauchi APC Youth Leader In Accident While Rushing To Meet Aisha Buhari by Image123(m): 8:48pm On Jun 09, 2016
The negativity people are attaching to the Buhari led government is caustic, needless and dangerous. Words are powerful and you tend to have what you say in the long run. If Buhari govt is/becomes badluck. It will never affect him or his. It is the common man and the nation that will suffer the curse of badluck, by your words you'll be condemned. Even if it is your child you keep saying negative things about, it is to your detriment.
Road accidents are common place in Nigeria. People have them going to or coming from anywhere, church, mosque, crusade, work, school, home, seminar, wedding etc.

It took you ages to come up with this and you still don't get the fundamentals or you refuse to.
The needful is simple, restructure Nigeria now or continue to live in denial, eye service, et al.
This is big and needless grammar, what does it mean to restructure Nigeria. Anybody can claim to be restructuring Nigeria in his own way. The APC change agenda is in itself a restructuring in its own right. So you have not said anything when you say restructure Nigeria. It took me ages to reply because i do not live on NL, sometimes i have a lot of time, sometimes i do not. You've been here longer than this.

You ask me this

And same you knows this
Where is the GROSS violation of human rights and terrorising? Is your accusation based on my assumption, or on presumption only?

I SMH for you because as I said earlier, you know the truth, you know what needs to be done, you are not blind to what's happening and what's been happening all these years but you people just like to lie to yourselves and try to lie to others as well.
What needs to be done is for you and others to give the government a chance instead of this eternal sulking and needless often baseless criticism. Everyone knew things would be a little hard economically. The IMF informed NOIweala since 2011 on the projections, just like Pharaoh told Joseph. But our Joseph coordinating minister simply fulfilled the famine, and left with headache and high blood pressure, borrowing to pay salaries and lacking political will to help the country, except for paper economic indices where we tweeked some data to get okay figures. Real economies are not built on paper, that is why less than months after, the whole thing indeed collapsed as forecasted. It was already collapsing and NOI warned about it, so we cannot blame the current FG only, as they have very little blame. What needs to be done is to arrest and prosecute Niger Delta criminals sabotaging the economy and the integrity of Nigeria's unity, instead of hoelessly watching like GEJ did boko haram, hoping it will be wished away, or going to Jerusalem to pray.

I will not banter words ever with you again because you are signed, sealed and certified Zombie, no offence, just as I do not take offence at being branded a lopsided wailer.
i signed nothing, if the government does not do well, i will say it when needed.

AnalyticEngine:
There are tons of issues bro. If we start dissecting scriptures now we will derail this thread. Let's look at some core christian concepts:
Good, let us not derail the thread. i will however answer briefly to the issues you raised, if you have further queries, you may open a thread and mention me. Seeing you claim to have tons of issues, prioritise accordingly, not the aimless amputee stuff as usual.

1. Trinity: If God, Jesus and the holy spirit are one, who then is sitted at the right hand of God. Where then is the Holy Spirit
Trinity is NOT a core christian concept. you do not need to understand or believe the trinity to be saved or to live with God eternally. The thief at the cross of Jesus who got saved and was with Jesus knew zilch about Trinity or no Trinity. Doctrine is good and has its advantages though.

2. And this signs shall follow them that believe...how many people do you know are walking in the reality of this? The easiest of these signs is speaking in tongues because any body can speak gibberish and count it as tongues with the defense that its only God that understands.
All who believe. It is unto you according to your faith. If you can believe, you will see. Not ALL the signs follow ALL that believe BTW. However, signs and wonders do follow believers, i'm sure you can attest to some.

3. If only God answers up to 10% of our prayers, the world would be a better place. Again, some will say it is because of our lack of faith/inconsistency with the will of God etc that is responsible
Correct.

4. Check out the contradictions. For the sake of space, I'll highlight one: John the baptist said he is not Elijah (John 1:20). Jesus said John is Elijah (Matt 11:14)
No contradiction, just misunderstanding from your part. John the Baptist is not Elijah verse 21 BTW, however, he is the one(the Elijah) that was to come, if ye will receive it. If you will understand it.

5. Jesus (Ominipotent God) made it clear that his second coming will be during the time of the disciples (Matt 16:28), (Mark 9:1), (Luke 9:27). Please read the while chapter to get a full grasp of what Christ was talking about. I wonder what christians have to say about this
Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Mar 9:1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
Luk 9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

i guess you meant to say omniscient. Seeing the kingdom of God is NOT Jesus' second coming. The disciples had a foretaste of the Kingdom in the following verses at the Transfiguration evidently. they also partook of the divine nature and resurrected life even after Pentecost, for the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. The three disciples saw Jesus in His glorified state, like He would come in the Kingdom, Peter also attested to it.

6. I have heard of people getting healed but not an amputee. Please why? The same power that is available to heal cancer, mental disorder, blood group, raise dead should be available to generate a new arm.
You've not heard it all, have you? What did you do with what you heard, did you believe?

7. If God wants us to live by faith, why did he give us brains to think and rationalise issues?

The truth is I wish there was a God and the bible is true. But then I have to call a spade a spade. I was really disappointed to discover that I have been dwelling in fallacy.
Faith is not anti-thinking, God commands His children to THINK lovely things that bring good report and praiseworthy. God thinks, so why shouldn't you think? Faith without works is dead, and faith is not irrational, it is only greater than logic.
Christianity Etc › Re: Is God All Merciful? If He Is All Merciful, Is He All Powerful? by Image123(m): 12:00pm On Jun 09, 2016
realmindz:
Is God all merciful? If God is all merciful, then is he all powerful?
A certain man had a teenage son, so it happened that the boy wanted to go out clubbing with his friends.

His father gave him a serious warning never to go out that night but the boy was disobedient and sneaked out in the middle of the night to join his friends for clubbing.

Unfortunately they had a terrible accident and the boy was in a state of life and death. The father wept bitterly. An operation was to be done to save the child's life, the father was not ready to lose him and did everything he could do to rescue his son's life.

He sold everything he had laboured for all his life to save him, unfortunately the son died and went to hell to perish forever and ever till the end of time...

......................................................................................

Here is a man, who is not all merciful neither is he all powerful. If he were all powerful, he would have saved his son despite his disobedience.

Now talk of an all powerful and merciful God who allows evil to torment the humans he loves so much, then he will not rescue millions of people who made mistakes of lying, stealing, anger, disbelief etc to perish in hell forever and ever..........................
A young man born in a time or place where he never knew Jesus, lived a simple life and died still going to hell.

If God is all merciful, then he will do anything to see his earthly children never to perish in hell.

He might be all powerful but not all merciful therefore he passes judgement to whomever he wishes and punishes however it pleases him as the most high and all powerful.

Perhaps he is all merciful, but not all powerful....so he is fighting hard to rescue the few he can rescue from hell.

Only one of the above is a possibility for the possibility of an all powerful, all loving and all merciful God is a contradiction that fails simple logic.

Religious folks, pls come explain to me how I haven't used my spiritual eyes to understand this, and since u ve spiritual understanding, pls explain spiritually.

Quit fooling yourself.

Positives where exactly? Recovered monies that have had no impact on the economy? Or withdrawal of troops after gross violation of human rights and terrorising innocent villagers? Aggravating the NDA even more instead of curbing the blowing up of pipelines? Or is it their political clean up of a land that we know is just a ruse to make us think they actually care for the place, but we know their aim is to score some cheap points that fools no one. A project that they will abandon very soon after all the drama and publicity show. I laugh,no be Nigerian politics?

We are not zombies, we are not fooled, unless they are ready to do the needful, they will only be deceiving people like you.
What is your solution or suggestion to the issue of the Niger Delta Avengers, what should be done to/for them? Let me not assume for you, let's hear from you directly.
Recovered monies cannot be used yet as some cases are still in court, and there is a different plan and account for the monies. The budget was just signed and the monies were not part of IGR, it is for later use. Where is the GROSS violation of human rights and terrorising? Troops should not be withdrawn, you suggest? Cleaning up of Ogoniland is not cheap, neither does it score cheap points. It is a needed reality that the whole world knows and educated research accept that is the necessary and responsible thing to do. the United Nations and Shell are in the same agreement, stop living in a non existent bubble. What is the needful?

I have stayed my whole life in Niger Delta. I have witnessed Various conflicts that warranted the Military to Step in. Boy, anytime they come you are usually harassed. It seems you are in a war Zone and at that, many funny things happen. At a time from my house during one of those times i could here the screaming of a girl as she was being raped by a soldier cos she was not home before the curfew. i know this act is not restricted to Niger Delta. Generally, i can't give an excellent score to our armed men. i am not presently in the affected area, but i know what Nigerian Soldiers can do.
Good to hear from someone who knows and has experience. You are making my point clear. Some fellows think and say from the comfort of their rooms in Ibadan that the military is afraid to go to the Niger Delta, that they will be finished mercilessly. It is the other way round. Yes, our powerful people(not just military) need to respect human rights and dignity. i agreee with that. Our big men, bosses, police, military, ogas harass people wickedly when they can get away with it, we as a whole need to work on that.

Military work is not magic or miracle. It takes TIME, investigation and intelligence. Victory may not be achieved in a day or two. military presence would ultimately lead to arrests, prosecution and punishment of criminals sabotaging the economy and put a stop to their menace.

If something bad happens, it is Buhari's fault. i'm sure if Buhari considers the useless Confab report, you will say it is for GEJ. Thankfully, he is not giving it any serious thought, now you guys are whining that government should be continum. We all know how useless and spineless the courts and agencies were against corruption under GEJ. He was the fellow who gave massive pardon to looters and threw corrupt cases of PDP cronies out of court.
Your hypocrisy says it all, if something goes against you in court like some of the election tribunal cases, you say PMB influenced it or in this case, GEJ started it. Keep decieving yourself instead of praying and working for the progress of Nigeria. Maybe GEJ is the first person to lose election in life.

One, we're yet to ascertain why the President didn't go. He didn't go to Lagos and Cross River either.
Two, GEJ's presence was conspicuously absent in the northeast when he NEEDED to be there to give hope to the general citizenry, sympathize with their plight and boost the fighters morale.
