I'd do the maths and get back to you. wink

Edit:

Just did my little multiplication and saw that even going by the parallel market rate of $320, the cost should have been N138 per litre as opposed to 145. So where did the extra N7 come from? grin
Kachikwu explained this on sunrise daily last week. There's a band of around 135-145naira per litre that PMS is expected to sell at. The maximum is 145/litre, and he hopes competition will drive down prices in months time. He said NNPC will not be selling at low prices in the cities to help competition and eliminate queues. He gave instances where Nigerians will rather queue for NNPC 86.5 when others were selling at 87. So to eliminate queues, NNPC will not sell cheaper than others but watch the market and adjust accordingly.

I have checked the demands of the militants but can't find anything wrong with their demands.

Here are 8 of their 10 demands.
1. Implementation of the report of the 2014 National Conference
2. Oil bloc ownership to reflect 60 per cent for oil producing states and 40 per cent for non-oil producing states
3. Re-establishment of the Nigerian Maritime University at Okerenkoko
4. Apologies from minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi to the people of Niger Delta
5. Cleaning up of all the polluted environments of the Niger Delta
6. Release of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
7. APC members indicted of corruption be arrested and prosecuted
8. Amnesty programme for Niger Delta ex-militants be well funded
9.
10.
Who doesn't have demand? i also have demands, the whole world has demands. If i gave you 50 of my demands, you'd probably find nothing wrong with them too. Should we all cause mayhem and wreck havoc because we have demands?

Notice in my post that I did not mention the word " Fulani " even once.

Let's say for the purpose of this argument that they are Libyans invading and killing Nigerian communities with impunity, who's responsibility is it to address and stop it ?

Obviously Buhari will take credit when Boko haram is eventually defeated, but the ground work , the the real battles, the real sacrifices in resources, men and blood were done by the last administration. Nothing wrong with that. That's the way it's supposed to be.

It's the hypocrisy of denying Jonathan credit for anything that sets Buhari as dishonest.
i was very clear on what you mentioned " the herdsmen problem". It is in expounding and speaking of the amplification of the problem that I referred to the common knowledge popular opinion that Fulani herdsmen are committing genocide/ethnic cleansing. This remains largely unestablished propaganda. There are many problems in/with Nigeria. Security wise, i'm of the opinion that Buhari has done very well especially as regards boko haram. Those who live in the northeast attest to that and know the difference.
Politics › Re: CNN's Amanpour Talks About Her Interview With Buhari by Image123(m): 5:55pm On May 16, 2016

Wrong on all counts sir.

Firstly, it was an anti-corruption summit, not a security summit.

Secondly, to say that Buhari has performed well on security is shocking.
Security? shocked
Who's security?

Herdsmen are on rampage, killing, raping, burning and plundering unabashedly, walking boldly with AK-47s with the police looking with awe from a distance.

And you say security? huh
Which country are you referring to?

The same Buhari last week insulted our common sense and further indicted himself by claiming that the murderous herdsmen are from Libya.
Shouldn't he be thoroughly be ashamed that a ragtag herdsmen are attacking and killing Nigerians with impunity under his leadership?

Pls sir, don't insult us by claiming that Buhari has done well so far in security.
i'm so sorry, i meant to say anti-corruption not security. Seems my tiredness today is getting to me, lol. It was an anti-corruption summit and the interview was mainly on anti-corruption. You'd notice Buhari introduced the security aspect with his reference to $2.1billion money shared instead of used to fight boko haram. That was the perspective in which he was interviewed. If he was interviewed at a world economic forum for instance, it's more likely the angle will be on economy, power, infrastructure. That's the natural line of these kind of interviews. They are targetted, it's not like she dodged asking him questions, or is not well read/informed on other areas.
On security, Buhari has done well because he has largely curbed the menace of boko haram. Nigeria has myriads of problems, and they did not start today. Some are the herdsmen problem like you mentioned, we have power problem, bad roads, education, health. Every where and every ministry you turn to, there are MAJOR problems, and they did not start today. On security of course, we have other problems too like kidnapping, armed robbery, ritual killing, thuggery, tribal hatred etc, but the one everybody knows and which hit the ceiling is boko haram and in that, Buhari has scored very well. Herdsmen have been having skirmishes with people since like forever, people have simply decided to AMPLIFY the issue with fake reports on the news. You can see for instance that even the Enugu governor tried to calm things down because people were making a huge mountain of it.
i respect the sanctity of every life and am not happy that any one life is carelessly lost. So, don't get me wrong, every crime including herdmen committing crime should be addressed. But we do not have to blow it out of proportion. The Fulanis have largely denied being involved. No fulani has been caught in the various happenings. So, how can it be lawfully established that they MUST be Fulanis that carried out the attacks? Also, the figures have been very conflicting with little or no evidence. We all saw evidence of boko haram, adn the Shite, and even the political unrests in the SS, and even road accidents, collapsed buildings and killing of snakes. But nobody sees anything about these so called genocide by Fulani herdsmen. Why?

seriously, what is the function of believing in God? of what purpose is it?

God is not eager to heal anyone... perhaps he is not eager to help the needy too. He just wants to sit on the throne and receive praises he does not deserve.
according to you, ones situation shouldnt stop one from believing in God... so what should make one believe in God?
The main 'function' of believing in God is forgiveness of sins and the gift of righteousness, which then guarantees eternal life with God both now and in the afterlife. i am not denying additions, please take note. The miraculous is very real. God provides for people, heals people, protects people etc. But don't miss the point or get it twisted. Those are not scientific things that will probably be repeated continuously like gravity. Guaranteeing an eternity of over a billion years by believing in God who talks about over a billion years is a good investment by any standard. Why do you think that God does not deserve praises? What makes anyone to deserve praises? The problem with you guys is that you make for yourself a definition of God, and then expect God must meet your definition of God hence He is not God. That is the most silly thing. It is like me saying my definition of a human being is someone who flies and has three heads. So i look round and i see nobody like that. Therefore, there is no human being. All these over 7billion are not human beings. It is a similar thing you do with God. You give no example, just your definition of what you think God must be to exist.

I'm not discussing what Jesus 'DID NOT say'. I'm discussing what Jesus said. Jesus also tells us the inspiration for the law. It was a compromise for the 'hardness of heart' of the hebrews.
Your OP focuses on the supposition that the passage did not did not come from God but from Moses'personal ideas. That is why it needs to be clearly stated that Jesus did not say so. You quoted Jesus to drive us to the assumption that Jesus said so. Jesus tells us the REASON for the divorce law, not the inspiration. All Scripture is given by divine inspiration.

May God Bless Us All And Bless Nigeria
Buhari didn't say that subsidy doesn't exist at all, get your claims right and stop misleading others.
i guess you want to refer to him asking "what is subsidy?" Noting that the concept was entrenched in secrecy and corruption, it was a fair question to ask in replying what he planned to do with subsidy.
Have you forgiven him for paying up billions of naira of subsidy owed and asking for supplementary budget for it? Have you forgiven him not removing subsidy for a year when most people expected that will be one of the first things he'd do?

This is ridiculous and unfortunately anti-people. Is this some sick way to generate revenue? There is no tyre manufacturing company in the country, and the same government allows second hand and expired tires to come in. They should engage in sensitisation, training and orientation about tyre pressure, vehicle inspection, bringing in quality tyres, good roads, speed checks. What is their plan to curb overspeeding and overloading? How about assasinlike truck driving common to most of our haulage drivers? Where are safety signs, pothole repairs, zebra crossing and implementation? These are some of their part and work, but no, they'd rather lazily seize vehicles to extort people. Not fair at all.

Since when did handicap people believing in God become a proof of God's existence huh

He like most other people have a choice to serve God. The boy whose case I cased you to discourse will most likely grow up and die a firm believer in God. Go to mosques all over nigeria, you will see all manner of handicapped people even in worse situation than Pastor Nick, because they are not only handicapped but in abject poverty and hopelessness. Yet the pray to God without complaining 5 times everyday.
How is that a proof of God's existence.

My request is basic and straight forward. Let us pray for this boy's miracle. Or have you written God off even before praying? wink
i never said that handicap people believing in God is a proof of God's existence, so don't be more clever than yourself. It is very clear that belief in God transcends, overcomes and overrides disability and handicap, a point you firmly hinge your atheism on. You don't believe in God primarily because there is suffering and people are not healed etc, that is proven baseless and crying more than the bereaved.
My answer is basic and straight forward, there is NO point praying for the boy's miracle in the context of God's existence. God healing or not healing him does not do anything, i reminded you of countless miracles past already. Miracles are not guarantee of people coming to God, as you yourself have agreed that even deep pain and poverty does not stop people from believing and praying to God. God's hands are not itching Him neither is He desperate to work any miracle. Two, there are gifts of the Spirit which i already mentioned. Remind us why we need to pray for the boy again?

We do need quality opposition, as that is what develops a good democracy and stops a reoccurring PDPism.
