Politics › Re: The Deceptions In 2016 Budget By Remi Oyeyemi by Image123(m):
So many lies in one page, why? Opposition should be truthful and credible please. Blatant lies are not sustainable.
The appropriation bill is something that is easily accessible on the Ministry of Budget and planning's website. Anybody can download it and look through, it is a 1810 page document with less than 5mb size. The budget is not gold or Bible, neither is it an unchangeable or unchallengeable document or law. In fact, it is being debated at the National Assembly presently. i have also previously expressed some of my reservations, observations and questions about it on this thread. The President in the last media chat has urged our journalists to engage more in INVESTIGATIVE journalism. It is therefore unfortunate that a national daily(NGR Guardian) will publish such baseless strings of lies for whatever purpose.

IN an administration fighting against corruption, that is in need of diversification, President Muhammadu Buhari has presented a budget that would appropriate N29.7 billion to his Ministry of Agriculture in comparison to N115 billion to a “do nothing” National Assembly. Even when you add the planned appropriation for the Universal Basic Education (N77.1 billion) together with the Ministry of Agriculture (N29.1billion), the National Assembly still gulps about N15 billion more than them. What a priority!
Again to be clear, i have my reservations for some of these figures, so i am not defending them per say, i am simply presenting them.
Federal Ministry of Agriculture's total allocation is 76,753,672,273(76.7billion not 29.7/29.1 choose anyone billion as ngrguardian reports). In the BREAKDOWN, it is shown that the Ministry of Agriculture has a recurrent(non-debt) expenditure of 29.7billion and a capital expenditure of 47billion, totalling 76.7billion.

Nigeria is in need of security no doubt. But this ought not to be an excuse for duplication. President Buhari budgeted N294.5 billion for the Ministry of Defence. The Ministry of Interior also has a lot to do with the security of the country and has a budget of N145.2 billion. We also have the Nigeria Police Formation and Command budget at N283.09 billion. Then there is tucked somewhere in the budget something called Operation Lafiya Dole to cost Nigerian Tax Payers N10 billion. “Lafiya Dole” is an Hausa Language expression that means “Compulsory Peace” or “Peace by Force.” If you add up the four, it gives you N732.79 billion.

With over N732.79 billion to these all important Ministries and Departments that deal with our security, can President Buhari explain to Nigerians what his National Security Adviser would be doing with additional N57.7 billion? This National Security Adviser allocation is an amount that is higher than the funds allocated to the Ministries of Transportation, Water Resources, Works, Power and Housing put together! Haba!
The Federal Ministry of Defence has a total allocation of 429,098,182,742. These information is right on page 1, missing it is mischievous. Ministry of Interior has a larger 498,453,097,241. The figures are so mixed up already i don't know where to start with you. Now, these are two different Ministries and it would be good to know the differences by finding out. If someone needs to be told that there is difference between Navy, Airforce, Army, Defence Academy, Police, Immigration, Custom, Prison, fire, NSCDC and your gateman, there is more problem than i can currently handle for you. Lafiya Dole is a special funds for combating Boko Haram insurgency in the North East region.
The Office of the NSA is not one man BTW. It has some MDAs under it like the DSS and national intelligence Agency. We cannot be blaming the 2016 budget for the multiplicity and duplicity of our Ministries and MDAs of course. The allocation for Ministries of Transportation is 215,797,393,980. This is more than NSA already so why the lie? Ministry of Water Resources is 44,206,418,733. Ministry of Works, Power and Housing is 467,645,043,369. All these information is right on page 1, why the lies? is that opposition?

President Buhari promised to create employment for Nigerian youths. But he budgeted only N7.8 billion for the Ministry of Labour and Employment. He also budgeted N9.5 billion for the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, a sector that could easily generate high employment if properly funded and managed. Science and Technology Ministry received only N25.8 billion. Also remember that the Ministries of Transportation and Water Resources received N13.7 billion and N7.2 billion respectively.
Total allocation for Ministry of Labour and Employment is 13,397,589,915 not 7.8billion. Ministry of Solid Minerals Development is 18,625,703,622, Science and Technology Ministry is 53,743,337,717 not 25.8billion. Transportation again is 215.7billion and Water Resources is 44.2billion. All these are different from 300billion budgeted specially as Special Intervention fund to help tackle issues like employing 500,000 teachers and other plans. Please fear God if you do not fear man or yourself.

The answer is a devaluation at the official rate.

The government has refused to devalue and that is what is causing the excess demand of 1.5bn a week.

Soludo and Sanusi have both condemned the doillar reestrictions. That was why JP Morgan delisted Nigeria.

The economy is in the hands of economics amateurs
Please explain logically. What will make BDCs,banks and co sell lower when CBN devalues to like 250naira per $? What stops them from selling at 350?

You agree with me the Savior was merely adopted, and didn't have David's blood running through his veins. Same way Moses was adopted, but had no legitimacy to Pharoah's throne. If Jesus was a 'MESSIAH', he wasn't the one foretold of in the Old Testament.
i made no such agreement. You claimed that Jesus not being the biological son of Joseph is not a descendant of David, i showed you that He is a descendant of David, both through Mary and Joseph's lineage. BTW, there is nothing wrong with being adopted as to call it merely. An human being's value is not by adoption or no adoption. There are many adopted children that go on to do better than so called un-adopted children. Jesus had God's blood running through His veins, He also had human blood running through. Those are the qualifications for Him to be the Messiah. Today, He reigns in many lives, and He is coming to reign over all the earth, whether you like it, misunderstand it, insult it or laugh over it. In other words, you are of little or no significance in the scheme of things. Again, the Bible traces the lineage of Mary to David, to Adam and to God.

Lionel Messi may need training to be a competent footballer, But needs no training to be a Human Being.

Whatever is acquired needs constant recycling to be maintained. But what is natural needs little to no efforts.

Blind religious faith is acquired and therefore superficial in my sensing for it is an effort by individuals to persuade themselves or others about the veracity of their various religious beliefs. Such faith is fragile therefore religious leaders of all faith constantly urge (sometimes threaten) their adherent to stick to the "normative" doctrine and be faithful at their meeting.

People should be allowed to believe in whatever they are genuinely convinced about provided they don't harm or force it on others. Experience, questioning, honesty and observation will lead anyone who wishes to a natural faith and recognition of God. Such faith is genuine and deep, and require no human intervention.

Proselytism is therefore in my perception belittling God and thereby wrong.

Greetings.
Is christianity natural?

Pay attention to the bold. I know the blood of Jesus has dimmed your vision, but please, stay focused. Where logic fails, always insert a miracle.
Don't be irrational. You should have noticed by now that the Matthew genealogy is different from the Luke genealogy. i will help you, i was born to do that ehn. Matthew clearly indicates "begets", Luke uses "son", the same word can be translated as son-in-law. Hebrew custom didn't permit women to enter their geneology. So even if a family ended with a daughter, instead of naming her, they usually inserted her husband. I pray your reasoning doesn't fail.

I Mean didn't you read that he didn't even send any to the Kogi State Governor elect too? Even not even minding the fact that he belongs to the APC? I think his reason to my understanding is genuine enough considering the fact that He still went ahead to Nominate Mama Taraba as a Federal Minister inspite of the Court ruling in her favour then before the sitting Governor won again at the Court of Appeal which again is now before the Supreme Court.
While Mr President doesn't have to congratulate every new governor, he doesn't have to state inconsistent reasons for his 'good' actions, especially when we're not even demanding. He congratulated Alhassan subtly by referring to her as "Her Excellency" during the ministerial inauguration. He chose her before the court verdict BTW. Also, he will be having monthly meetings and correspondence with these governors whether he likes them or not.

If ever at all it's gonna be a problem it'd not be more than a natural one; a normality of life. Every living thing struggles for survival and this has evolved different relationships among living things of which parasitism is one, which you tag evil. Parasitism is not evil, but rather a way of life.

Again dummy, he said it was imaginary in relation to the eventual claim of the reality of original sin.
Oops, i see i smashed many nerves. smiley smiley smiley You sounded more intelligent and mature without the insults. Well, well, well, another proof of the adamic nature of sin in you. Not a million dollars worth of civilization and education can cure you, the best that can be done is fresco. Only Jesus can save you.
Whether natural or supernatural or financial, a problem is a problem. Your friend the OP said it was an imaginary problem, you are hoping it is a natural problem. i say it is a problem That a problem is qualified as natural does not mean it is normal. May problem not be normal in my life. Wars, diseases, starvation are all problems. It is funny i need to convince anyone that these are problems. Whatever way you explain it away as a way of life, they are still problems. They are not imaginary, they ravage our world and make the daily news.

I have. It's you not wanting to drop your belief that's making you go dim wit and blind to see the flaws in it and how satisfactory I have disproved their existence with biology and geology.
Are you kidding or saying it "by faith"? You cannot disprove the existence of the first man and woman by biology oor geology or any other 'logy'. It is insane, there was indeed a first man and woman, and the Bible teaches us that their names were Adam and Eve.

It's very wrong to use "largely" as to guess work, that is, if ever there is. Radiometric dating is analysed and calculated, not guessed. As to assumptions, its assumptions are more reasonable and verifiable when compared to the outrageous claim (and ridiculous assumption) of the earth created in six days, in a day specifically, land, when the existence of strata and sediments make it an implausibility.
Who decides these things that you say? do you just pull them, out of your brain or something? What makes it wrong to use "largely" as to guesswork. Or you do not know the meaning of "largely"? You obviously do not know much about radiometric dating. Hear this, "Different methods of radiometric dating vary in the timescale over which they are accurate and the materials to which they can be applied." Some of it aare as absolute and as accurate as the difference of 20Ma(million years) and even more. As useful as they are, thy have their huge limitations. Don't overrate radiometric dating abeg. What can be more ridiculous as the atheistic claim of the big-bang? BTW, the Scripture does not teach that the earth was created in 6days.

Bonehead! I never agreed there was anything above the natural. I was playing along with your
stupidd notion of accessing the supernatural through illusion and delusion so you could understand how you've been for long sounding like an idi0t with too low brain for comprehension as even provably shown in that post ^^^. Play stupidd again...
Oh, that's unfortunate for you. i thought you knew. There is something above the natural, take it or take it. smiley The 'joy' of the christian or the 'religious' is the option of the supernatural, miracles. Don't increase your blood pressure over these facts.

How can you access something above natural?? It's not possible. Your senses recognize some things in the natural world and do not have the ability to recognize anything beyond the natural because they do not exist. The only attestation you and those mor0ns are making lies on the power of imagination, efficiently powered by delusion and hallucination, the brain can produce. And imaginations are imaginations. They are not real.
It is attested to by many learned people over thousands of years and generations, races and tribes, languages and states. LEARNED, more learned and brilliant than you will ever be. People like me, Newton, your teachers and lecturers, professing christians who are professors, perhaps your parents and sponsors. These are not all morons like you are deceived to think.

... for not believing a ridiculous and incredible story? You are the one apparently out of your senses here.
For believing more ridiculous and incredible stories actually.
Psa 14:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I expect this comprehension of morality should be a problem for people without common sense. And it's sadden that you've shown ample evidence for being one of these people. So I think this is how it's gonna be. You are not fortunate to grasp the concept of morality and it's your intentional problem.
So comprehension of morality should be a problem for people without common sense? How do you determine people without common sense? What is common sense? Atheism? Commonsense to me is something reasonable and based on sound judgement. The Word of God is reasonable and based on sound judgement. You find it reasonable and commonsense to compare breeze, powerful light and food to morality, but you have issues with comparing the definition and concept of morality?

Does the acceptance of the practice of fornication in nonreligious society makes it a no-longer-immoral/sinful practice in the Bible? Is fornication naturally immoral? No. You believe it is because the Bible says so. This an intervention of religion making its own rules, for those who choose to follow.

Gay is a crime for those who say it is. It's not for those who say it's not. It's moral because it doesn't affect your fvcked life.
You said "If the sentence of a particular type of crime has been changing and will continue to change it does not change the act from being a crime. It's still a crime and it is wrong. " And i'm telling you again that not only the sentence but the very crime has being changing for a long time. Our laws keep getting changed and amended. Nobody asked you to defend the reason for the change. What we have said is that our so called definition and accuracy of morality changes from time to time and society to society. We are not slaves to nature, neither is nature the apex or yardstick for morality. that is why we get education, it is not nature. Our technology and advancements are not nature. we don't wait on nature to solve our health problems and other problems. Why fallaciously call on nature when it comes to moral decadence?

It is not. I'll say it a thousand times if you want.
Is lassa fever natural? Is scurvy that you earlier referred to natural? Are wars natural? Is starvation and famine natural? Is robbery natural?

It does. They point to your nature being sinful - all humanity is sinful.
You are playing along here i suppose? Inform me when you stop playing.
