you avoid the question.
who gave obasanjo the powers to acquit buhari of a criminal indictment which could have given him more than the 100 years imprisonment he gave to Ambrose Alli?
Is that how you want your Nigeria to be run?
if you steal and the two of us are padi padi, i clear you.
then you will bring some for me in the night!
is that how you do it?
Akin1212 has answered this, let me add though. The report Obasanjo received as president acquitted Buhari. i don't think Buhari was indicted, it was PTF that was indicted, the accusation was that there was discrepancy in prices. Like maybe acquiring/buying goods in Yobe for 20naira and buying the same thing in Edo for 25naira. This happens everywhere and to everyone. Obasanjo knows Buhari is a honest man, it is not padi padi, it is fact. Buhari served under Obasanjo before. They knew him as Northern governor and in the military. He knew him as Head of NNPC, he appointed him when looking for someone to judiciously head a sensitive organisation and that was where two refineries came out from. Even Abacha knew Buhari as an honest man. Every one in the military knew. Just like today, many christians know or say pastor Kumuyi is good and all that compared to other pastors. If Obasanjo could, he would have wanted to persecute Buhari using EFCC. He did it for all his opponents that were corrupt. Buhari was an open opposer/opponent to Obasanjo and contested his election results in 2003. Obasanjo the agbaya cheat told him to take it like that and show gallantry in defeat. That was all OBJ could say. If Buhari was corrupt or had skeletons, the OBJ i know would have used it against him strongly.

....and you think GMB can bring that change. . Maybe might stop boko, because he is their man. After all they ones picked him
to negotiate on their behalf. As for transforming Nigeria Nope. What GMB fought in his 18 months of rule was 'war against
Indiscipline' and not corruption.
Whereby soldiers were all over town terrorising, embarrassing and flogging grown ups for not queue, even
children were not left out. I was then in primary school. Perhaps you were not born then. People were
living in fear and terror. That's not leadership but terrorism.

He fought corruption by forcefully accusing and terrorising innocent politicians. I remember
the case of pa Awolowo.
and for the 18 months he ruled before he was ousted by a coup, the same way he gained power,
no economic milestone was achieved in Nigeria by him. So I wonder what magic you think he will perform.
i hope he can. Nobody knows man's heart. But from what we see, the current administration cannot bring change. How can you even bring change in the first place when you do not realise that things need to change? The current President has used about 6years and it is easy to see that he lacks the capacity for the needed change. It's like a test/exam and you have options A,B, C etc. Sometimes, even if you do not know the answer, you can know for sure that option say A is not the answer, so you choose between B and C. In this case, i know certainly that GEJ presidency is not the answer, except something DRASTICALLY changes. But if it is the same business as usual "transformation", MBA.
Who told you GMB is boko haram, this is unfounded allegation and work of propaganda. GEJ himself once called Boko boiz his family and that you cannot send soldier to go and kill your family. In fact, his inaction and lack of will has led to the monster boko haram is today. In all ramifications, he has profited more from the Boko haram menace. In today's democracy, soldiers are still busy terrorising people and violating human rights. They have also unfortunately become tools in the hands of the current government to help the PDP cause as seen in Ekiti and the current postponement of elections. People are still afraid of soldiers and they are more brainless in today's democracy. They still harass civilians and even police. They still arrest and frustrate opposition parties. i am not expecting GMB to perform magic, i am expecting him to lead, something this current administration has failed to do.

Yamaha begins manufacturing in Nigeria

Yamaha Motor Co has announced that it will begin manufacturing in Nigeria, Africa as part of a joint agreement with CFAO S.A. According to reports, the factory will officially open its doors in mid-2015.

The new company to be known as CFAO Yamaha Motor Nigeria Ltd. (CYMNG), and Yamaha Motor and CFAO (a French company, specialized in distribution of major international brands in Africa in the Toyota Tsusho Group) are to make equal investment contributions toward a start-up capital of $1 million.

The new CYMNG factory will cover an area of 2,790 square meters will be built in Lagos, Nigeria's largest city. Scheduled to commence operation in summer 2015, the factory has a production target of 70,000 motorcycles by 2018.

In 1980, Yamaha Motor established a motorcycle factory in Nigeria that carried out manufacture and sale of motorcycles, however in 2005 the company pulled out of production due to a decline in the market - ever since Yamaha has been selling motorcycles imported from Japan or India through local dealerships. This joint venture represents Yamaha Motor's second foray into the Nigerian market.
The population of Nigeria is currently 170 million, and explosive growth in the population and economy has contributed to heightened demand for motorcycles in the region. Demand is expected to skyrocket even further, due to the fact that motorcycles are fast taking over taxis as the number one form of transportation.

Ah ah, so this one too is President Jonathan's achievement? Yamaha's announcement and a joint agreement with CFAO S.A. The thing has not even started oh, and Jonathan did not contribute 1naira. Companies and businesses/corporations come and go. There are so many multinationals in Nigeria and they have been here even during military era, PZ, Sclumberger, Mobil, Lafarge, Chevron, Total etc. how can we start naming these as government achievement? And it is even a future target, it has not yet happened. Why are achievements this scarce?

Buhari Never makes up to 3mins speech in his campaigns and you can hardly hear what he is saying except!!! he is heavily accented!! so I don't get what you mean
He is a less talk more action kind of person. Nonetheless, he talks intelligently and for longer periods if the opportunity present itself like in interviews, forums, town hall meetings, etc. Campaign should be short and straight to the point, not filled with promises you do not intend to keep or attacking other parties and personalities. Also, if you watch the average APC presidential campaigns, they usually have a lot to cover in short time. They may have two or more states to visit, apart from visiting emirs, obas and other dignitaries in the state. Then so many people speak and canvass already before Buhari comes and wraps everything up. So, it is very understandable why he should be brief. It is not a crime for him to be heavily accented by the way, no be grammar or phonetics we go chop. Na sincerity, honesty, integrity, political will, charisma and competence wey we want. Sorry, the present presidency lacks that.

What are Holy Shapes, are they biblical?

I can see you never read the following verse

Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold,
or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

Canaanaland means land of the canaanites and The bible said they are to kill the Canaanites,
so calling urself canaan marks you for spiritual killing.
Why not call yourself Israel?

Deuteronomy 20:17
But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites ,
and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee:

If they want the promised Land, then they should call it Israel land,
as God said Israel is Blessed.

Numbers 6:27
And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel,
and I will bless them.

Canaan on the Other hand is cursed

Genesis 9:25
And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR ISRAEL IS BLESS CANAAN IS CURSED, SO IS CANAANLAND
Bros, that passages says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about shapes.
Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold,
or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

i do not think Oyedepo's buildings are the Godhead, i do not think that his members think their buildings are the Godhead or to be worshipped. Also, it mentions no shapes. Which one should we use in building, is circle more holy than rectangle shape? God is the Lord who has made ALL things, devil cannot make any single shape to save his life. That devil followers decide to use a particular shape or colour does not mean that it belongs to them. So if occult people use blue colour, i cannot use blue colour again?
Psa 62:11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

All power belongs to God, and the devil or occult are not the owner of any shapes or colours. They can only borrow until people like us come and bind them.
Luk 11:21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
Luk 11:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armor wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

So, i am with Oyedepo on this. We take the shape and use it. It is aesthetic architectural beauty and masterpiece. Jesus led captivity captive, gave us of the spoils and gifts, and makes a open show of them for ever more.

Canaanland is the name of a place, not a people. They call themselves christians or Winners, not canaanites. They do not call themselves Canaan mr. The so called Canaan that was cursed in Genesis 9 is a person/people, not the land. the land of Canaan was flowing with milk and honey.
Exo 3:17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
Deu 8:7 For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;
Deu 8:8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;
Deu 8:9 A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
Deu 8:10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

The land of canaan was a good land, the Bible says so. It was the people(the Canaanites) that had problem. Even at that, Christ redeems us from such curses. Even one of His 12 disciples was a Canaanite. We should stop all these pettiness and much ado over nothing. It is this pettiness that gives rise to sick and dying people telling doctor that they are strong, or someone descending from an elevator saying that they are going upward ever.
Mar 3:18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

Abraham dwelled in the land of Canaan, so did Isaac and Jacob, and Sarah and the patriach. It was simply the promised land. Moses and Joshua took the children of Israel to the promised land of canaan. Members of Winner's Chapel(LFBC) do not belong to Canaanland. They possessed the place, even the witches of Otta know this for fact.
Exo 6:4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
Lev 14:34 When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;
Lev 25:38 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.
Jdg 21:12 And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

The land of Canaan or Canaanland is simply symbolic language for the land of promise, or a fulfilment of God's promise. Same way christians symbolically use Egypt or Babylon as the world.

You don't get the point, do you? The question was: "Can one be good without God?" I believe in God and yes, people can be good without God. I gave you an example of the Gates' contribution to humanity without believing in any god. You don't need any religion to be good, its a choice you make. I met a French girl sometimes back that spend most her summer break in refuge camps in Africa and Asia as a volunteer to help teach and cater for displaced kids. I asked her one day about her believe in a god and she told me she doesn't believe in any god. I asked her her reason, she told me never had about any god until she was 11 years old and she didn't bother learning about it. Is she a good person? From the little months I spent with her, I believe she is one of the best person I have met in my life time. I even aspire to be like her in selfless service, I believe in God and she doesn't. Does she need a god to be good? NO.

This exactly what Christians don't agree. Even though religion encourages people to be good, people can be good for different reason without God. You make a mockery of yourself and religion when you try to force these things on people.
You did not tell me which Christian community has done anything in Nigeria, or which Christian community is as financially buoyant as the Gates or is in competition with them. You did not tell me the facts that you said i avoided. No wahala.
It is good to read that you believe in God. But to say that people can be good without God is WRONG. Maybe i wasn't clear enough though. i will say it is possible to do good deeds without following God or believing in God. But to be good, NO. Nobody can be good without God. i hope what i say is clearer now. By the way, and by the way, you don't keep mentioning Gates as reperesentative of the random atheist. Melinda Gates is not atheist, but a professing christian. Catholic or so. Mr Gates himself said that his actions are motivated by religion so stop putting him up like the narrow minded atheistic bigot and extremists on forums. Again, you can do some good deeds with or without God, BUT you cannot be good without God. People can do good things for different reasons as it as being pointed out. You can do good deeds because of the law or constitution, or the society you live in, or for some reward or personal satisfaction, or you can be good for nothing like some are proposing. However, nobody has come here to show us how it is not okay to do good for reward. On the contrary, some have admitted to doing good for reward themselves.

1. Buhari have personally spent over N20 Billion of his own money trying to be president since 1998. How much is the presidential nomination form?. N27 million!. Buhari have paid this sum for 4 times just to contest. A poor man doesn't afford that type of money in Nigeria.

2. Buhari's sons and daughters school in London and some in USA at prestigious universities just like sons and daughters of every other rich man in Nigeria. It's not cheap to have your daughters and sons schooling overseas. It's very expensive and only the rich can afford it.

3. Buhari's wife recently donated N137 million to a cause in Adamawa. A wife married to a poor man doesn't donate Millions of Naira to others.

List of people jailed by Buhari under different trumped up charges.

60% of them Yorubas (Buhari hate Yorubas), it's clear from the below.

97% of them from Southern Nigeria.

1. Fela Anikulapokuti (Fela, a musician was jailed for getting paid about £7,000 after he held a show in London). This's like jailing 2Face because he went to London and hosted a show and brought in £7,000 to Nigeria.
2. Chief Bisi Onabanjo
3. Chief Bola Ige
4. Chief Adekunle Ajasin
5 Chief Sam Mbakwe
6. Chief Ambrose Alli
7. Chief Apa Aku
8. Chief Jim Mwobodo
9. Chief L Kayode Jakande
10. Chief Alex Ekwueme
11. Chief Obafemi Awolowo (house in Apapa buggled and looted) Were these the theives?. Were these the troublers of our Nation.

Meanwhile:
Shehu Shgari (house arrest).
Akinloye (resting in London).
Chief Akinjide (resting in london).
Uba Ahmed (allowed to elope with our money to the USA.
Umaru Dikko (cooling self in London. Later his forceful extradition was sabotaged by insiders.
On on on and on...

That was how Buhari fought corruption. His interpretation of corruption is that only people from southern Nigeria are corrupt.

95% of those he jailed remained the symbol of democracy till they died. And it's their many years of labour on democracy that he wants to reap.

Buhari wants to reap where did not sow and I still can't believe that Yorubas could easily be deceived.

NB: I need more names of people jailed by Buhari and their offence. If you have them please post here.

Selfishness is obviously not a virtue...
Are you saying that you are sometimes selfish? Well, not every reward has to be selfish or self driven. I know a good doctor as it were. He's faithful, diligent, kind and helpful. He does the extra and is easily the best doctor every year. He is not doing it for nothing. He does it because it gives him satisfaction and of course respect and money. Is he wrong? What makes him wrong if so?

And by saying who, you and i know he was refering to their deeds as depicted in the example... Common you cannot pretend not know what he meant.
"Who" refers to persons not deeds. Are we discussing what is good or who is good?

Semantics, sir. It doesn't matter what word I chose to use. I think the point I'm trying to make is clear enough.
No semantics oh. No human being is inherently good, whatever deeds you do.

Oh yes... doing something for an expectation is not inherent goodness.. you only did it for your own gain (reward)
Okay, so you sometimes do good for reward? What is wrong with it?

because 1 good is for something(Rewards n Avoiding God wrath n dammnation in Hellfire) while d oda Good is for Nothing( from d Heart, nt xpecting anytin whatsoever frm any1 or any God). U get me?
Lol, what is wrong in expecting reward? Why do you think expecting nothing is from the heart, where are the others from? What makes one worse or better than the other? I get you, unfortunately, you don't get me yet.
