Money seems to be the determining factor for most of y'all. So in love with money you can't see the beam. |
Madame you're on the fence na,
just saying, and doesnt mean i'm for or against. like i said, i'm indifferent.
|
please reread my comment about 1 cor 14 which i quoted on this thread, and pointed out the use of the word "speak".
I did tpia, i did. My reply on footnotes was to the post on footnotes. |
When Noah saw the earth desolated by the deluge, he must have been traumatised. Whenever afterwards the skies grew dark overhead, he would need assurance. God said ‘I do set my bow in the cloud and it shall be a token of a covenant’. The rainbow is the flag of God, the seven-coloured royal standard. No icon, no regimental colours, no empire symbol could match that! The word ‘bow’ in Genesis 9:13 is the same Hebrew word as a bow for arrows – a war bow. What a war- bow, spanning the whole horizon! What mighty arrows it must shoot when God goes into battle. ‘The Lord will march out like a mighty man, like a warrior he will stir up his zeal; with a shout he will raise the battle cry and will triumph over his enemies’. Isaiah 42:12. The rainbow is not a mere phenomenon of beauty but a Divine reminder of God’s archery. ‘There was a rainbow round about the throne and out of the throne proceeded lightnings’, God’s mighty arrows. (Rev. 4:3,5). No wind can blow a rainbow away. No devil can switch it off. The battle belongs to the Lord. We all suffer life’s storms when ominous blackness fills our skies, but that arching splendour of prismatic colour in the rain cloud, seen with our mortal eyes, is the objective standard of God to reassure us. God’s rainbow is His love bent to the world - and you and me. REINHARD BONNKE |
Logic Mind:Oh oh oh oh, hallelujah. You must be happier now? |
That word 'fear' would be more correctly rendered as 'neglect'. |
Joagbaje:Proof? Specifics? |
That's good to hear. Send my greetings. |
Not to say that Oyedepo is a true or false servant of God. But nothing in your posts prove that those dead people were among the people Oyedepo prayed for. More importantly, you don't understand spiritual things. Humans 'key into' prophecy. God does not force His word, plan, will on lives, at least not commonly. The prophecies written are pronouncements of blessings and plans. It's also lies on each individual to connect to the blessing or plan. We need to always be led by the Spirit of God if we expect to be daily loaded with benefits from God. It's not lottery tickets for the year. God told Joshua that He'll win all the time and no man would be able to stand before him as it were. Joshua skipped abit in chapter 7. Other examples can be given but if this would not do, a thousand would not. |
numo86 has spoken/written well. do you know the situation of the Church at that time? It looks like a guide for them.Judek, could you be more spesofic? What was the situation of the church at that time, what are your proofs, have those 'situations' disappeared? |
Martian:You DO NOT DISAPPOINT, do you? I said that you FAIL TO disappoint, where is your comprehension? Please, disappoint me. I hope you're still in school, or at least undergoing some sort of learning? Even Balaam's donkey would be surprised? |
How three FEDERAL UNIVERSITIES take carry last? I'm not current sha, many names there dey strange to me. Among others, is there any school called 'Akwa Ibom state university'? |
What is the meaning of 'bearing'? |
East:East, this your understanding, any thing to validate it? i.e this 'peculiarity' of women not being submissive only IN corinth. Leave adorning, let's still finish women TEACHING biko. And what's with God pouring His spirit on male and female, is it only for teaching men. |
if you check the footnotes [niv]for 1 tim 2:12, it says "or over her husband". footnote for 1 tim 2:11 says "or wife" so the context could be for a home base, ie outside the church gathering, generally speaking. there's actually no specific mention of church assembly or church gathering in that particular chapter. just saying, and doesnt mean i'm for or against. like i said, i'm indifferent.
These are lame excuses, sorry. Did you check the 'footnotes(niv)' for 1Corinthians 14v34? All that 'or', 'could', 'generally' na beating around the forest. The two passages intertwine, complement and explain one another. |
Martian:Balaam's donkey was not in Israel. You do fail to disappoint in chief matters of folly. |
Such situations are one-offs, not common occurrences. It happens when there is no able man. Most times, there's always a able man, or ableR man than the woman to accomplish the task. God is never without a witness, still though, we do not box in the Lord of the sabbath when He seldom choose to move with a woman in LEADING His people. |
"But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." (1 Timothy 2:12). "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they What a difference a tense can make. |
These folks are such a virus aaargh. |
Eih eih holi holi, god bless you god bless you once you talk against tithe, for therein lieth the clause for thy blessing, and thereby are the holi holi known in the corts of yore. |
He doesn't need the same grace as his senior pastor, he needs the grace of the Lord Jesus that is sufficient for him. If he's born again, he can get it by coming boldly before the throne of grace and asking for grace. |
If he doesn't have one, does that make him a true 'man of God' to you? Or you're just engaging in busy body palaver as thought? |
Martian:Please disappoint me. Balaam's donkey was not in Israel either. You're always wrong, why? |
Bunmi, the passage is clear enough even with the kjv. You may check other versions if you please, the message is simple. Your confusion comes from the obvious disregard/disobedience by many present day christains, it's not a confusion from the passage. What judek2 wrote to which you immediately subscribed is a big load of garbage found no where near the Bible. His explanation is a poor attempt to rationalize many's disobedience, not an explanation of the Bible passage you quoted, Hence the phrase 'itching ears'. |
It makes little difference even if He died in your room. The important deed is that He died for you and for me, and He rose again. By the power of the only almighty most gracious most glorious, and most beneficient Jehovah. Every other god perpetually a counterfeit e.g the lagoshia's god. |
bunmioguns:The express road to itching ears deception, renovated during the GEJ tenure? |
How can you say that Christ had no say after affirming that the Lord and Christ had 'a discussion'. Don't you 'say' in discussions in the spiritual realms? Is it impossible that they 'discussed' his gender? Nothing happens by chance with God. |
Shrek's donkey was not in israel, disappoint me please. |
Indoctrination, this people are being seriously indoctrinated. That's the leaking tap to plug. |
Indoctrination, this people are being seriously indoctrinated. That's the leaking tap to plug. |
^ Jesus had a say in the matter. That say is what we call OBEDIENCE. Nothing happens by chance, mistake or purposeless WITH God. |
Lasinoh:On a serious note, you need help soon. Jesus Christ will help you, you know? |
