Politics / Re: Nigeria Kidnappers Free Uk Girl by initiator(m): 11:12pm On Jul 08, 2007
Those bastards should be arrested.
Politics / Re: The West( Usa & Europe) Prefer Eastafricans Especially "kenyans" To Westafricans by initiator(m): 1:22pm On Jul 07, 2007
why should we care how westerners think of us. it is more important for africans to care how they perceive themselves.

obamajnr, you would build YOUR own perception of nigeria if you visit the country or hang out with your mum's peeps.
Politics / Re: Kidnappers Want Father In Lieu Of Toddler by initiator(m): 7:55pm On Jul 06, 2007
These 'militants' should not drain the public's sympathy for the niger delta cause with such STUPIDITY.
Politics / Re: Robert Mugabe Sleeping At Au Meeting & At Uno Gen. Assembly by initiator(m): 7:29pm On Jul 06, 2007
Mugabe's singular claim to relevance is a dying nostalgia over the 'days of strugle' and his beastly hold on his pauperised nation. The senile dandy has no place in modern thought.
Politics / Re: Sss Detains 4 Ohanaeze Leaders, Others. by initiator(m): 2:19pm On Jul 06, 2007
Arresting them is a facist throwback and would only prepare the ground for more sinister groups worse than MASSOB.
Politics / Re: Baba Iyabo Must Let Go Of Politics by initiator(m): 11:43pm On Jul 05, 2007
So MAMAJAMA whats ur point? That we should condone corruption or what?
Politics / Re: What 3 Things Would You Request Of Yaradua For Nigeria? by initiator(m): 11:31pm On Jul 05, 2007
1. Power
2. Power
3. Others
Politics / Re: Brown Vs Yaradau by initiator(m): 10:46pm On Jul 05, 2007
I totally agree with McKren. Yaradua "won" the election on april 21 and was sworn in on may 29. He had more than 1 month to kickstart the ministerial process. The list is coming way too late considering that the list still has to go through ministerial screening and posibly some bribery wahala. One of the daily named the benin-ore highway as the worst in the world, i just got light here after 5 days! Even yaradua admited in ghana that at the micro level nigs are suffering - what about the energy emergency? The guy needs more spring to his step even as he strikes me as one with promise. No be promise we go chop. Governance is an earnest business.
Politics / Re: Ministerial List by initiator(m): 6:07am On Jul 05, 2007
This list aint inspiring @ all with the likes of ojo madueke who in obj's 1st obsolate tenure advocated Nig's return to bicycles.
Politics / Re: Yar’adua: 2011 Polls Will Be Credible by initiator(m): 6:26pm On Jul 04, 2007
Yaradua has made a couple of nominal moves (or pronouncements) that sell him as a visionary and compassionate leader. BUT nigerians have been sold too many sweet talk to believe this 1 again. I think a modicum of skepticism (not cynicism) is only reasonable at this point.
Business / Re: The Dying Factories Of Nigeria by initiator(m): 11:21pm On Jul 02, 2007
Dont go praising nobody until stuf is done. Yaradua said he'll declare an energy emergency. We still waiting.
Politics / Re: Icpc Begins Fresh Probe Of Ex-govs by initiator(m): 11:15pm On Jul 02, 2007
Hmmm to fight corruption in naija you gotto do it like a bull. The icpc may just treat the govs like nannies. I was a critique of ribadu's style but lets face it, naija without him would be a corruption stench.
Culture / Re: African Family Tradition Is The Best : Do You Agree? by initiator(m): 11:01pm On Jul 02, 2007
Yea cos in most of africa its still adam and eve, not adam and steve
Politics / Re: What Do U Think About The President's Idea Of A Unity Govt by initiator(m): 9:35pm On Jul 02, 2007
Unity govt is an euphemism for dissolution of the opposition. It is another 'come chop' scheme and the late rabiu afolabi made that known to late chief bola ige in no uncertain terms.

The unfortunate thing's that we have a malnourished opposition who see unity in terms of appointments alone.

Opposition should strive to forge coallitions among themselves, pressurising pdp on electoral reform rather than bootlick the govt in power. Its clear: WE RUNNING A ONE PARTY STATE.
TV/Movies / Re: The Movie "stomp The Yard" by initiator(m): 8:55am On Jul 02, 2007
My best dance movie is still You Got Served. Stomp the yard was just ok for me. Maybe cos i watched a pirated copy
Travel / Re: News About Tinapa by initiator(m): 7:57am On Jul 02, 2007
But its true ooo. Fact is the momentum is falling. If this project becomes 1 of those white elephants it'll be a shame but i pray it does not. I guess more expertraites should be brought in.
Business / Re: Newspaper Business: Is It Lucrative Enough To Start With? by initiator(m): 6:44am On Jul 02, 2007
First of all d'u mean selling newspapers or actually producing a daily?

Newspaper biz is a high risk high reward one and requires market research, planning and differentiation. If u want more discourse on this mail chidido@yahoo.com
Politics / Re: You're On Your Own, Ex-ig Tells Ehindero by initiator(m): 5:20am On Jul 02, 2007
From all indications ehindero's stint was shady and deserves proper investigation BUT i find it hard to join in your campaign when you brazenly support IBB and even had the nerve to recomend his resurgence on the saddle! Man that was when i gave up on your case.
Politics / Re: Why On Earth Is Ibb Not In Jail by initiator(m): 2:18am On Jul 01, 2007
@ Big B1 i admitted the impracticability of prosecuting the man.

But nigerians must put an expiry date to the guy's relevance. All he has served this country after 8 harrowing years is economic retardation, unsolved murders, and a most toxic annulment of the freest election. And to herald the guy as a stateman? C'MOON!
@ denex waiting for his death is a bloody waste of time cos it wont change the course of the years. The solution is to raise the standard of governance so that we never go back to those ignoble times.
Politics / Re: Why On Earth Is Ibb Not In Jail by initiator(m): 1:50am On Jul 01, 2007
