It's a place called "hell fire" where all unrepentant sinners go when they die.

It's a place of eternal torment so there's nothing like resting in peace for any soul who finds himself there no matter the amount of prayers offered afterwards.

It's a place filled with regrets and "had I knowns", because by then it's too late for those who finds themselves there to repent, as the time for repentance is past.

However if you're still a sinner but not dead and in hell fire yet, it means you still got hope and a chance to be heard and saved by God.

Therefore wherever you are, even if it be in the belly of a whale right in the middle of an ocean as Jonah was, you can still repent and cry out to God to save you, because your prayer of repentance could still be heard by God, as God is everywhere and you still have the chance of life to be saved by Him.

I can't believe there are still men who don't watch football or know nothing about sports.

I was watching who wants to be a millionaire and this particular question was thrown to this guy.. I couldn't believe the guy didn't know the answer. Baba was totally confused and speechless. He even requested in using one of his lifeline options by calling a friend. Omo! I just dey laugh. And the answer is B. I have to capture the moment.

I can't do without watching sports especially football, boxing and wrestling. There's no question you will throw at me about football or other sport games that I won't give you an accurate answer. I know all football leagues competition round the world even Nigeria premier league I do follow up too.

Football is fun especially when you're arguing, teasing, defending, laughing, throwing banters at each other's club while drinking your cold beer.

Even here on nairaland when there's a live match update, I do visit the thread because I always enjoy the banter fans throw at each other.. It really fun.

Who is to blame? In Politics, the Northerners talk about the North so as to retain power. But Southern politicians hide behind Party logos to avoid challenging the injustice of the North. So blame the naive and greedy Southern politicians with their band of gullible, hungry followers who believe that it is a matter of personal choice.

Atiku has a lifelong ambition of being the President just like Tinubu. Tinubu was just silly enough to voice it out. Remarkably, this is the last opportunity for both of them.

As 2023 draws closer, a lot of top Northern politicians will decamp to PDP to support their brother Atiku while their useless Southern counterparts will be left holding the umbrella and shouting "PDP!"

I have been working in this company for about 8 years now and to be frank, I don't see any much improvement both financially and otherwise.

In addition to that, I noticed some degree of negligence and disregard for old staff, it seems the more years you spend in the company, the less value you accrue. However, I attribute that to the administrative incompetence of the Director who took over from the mum before she( the mum) finally joined her ancestors.

Recall that in April this year, she fired the General manager without any explanation to the rest of the staff, no staff meeting nor briefing. Shortly after that, she reshuffled the managerial team and employed 3 unknown persons who were never part of the company to take over the Management of the company, while she still remains the Director.

All these she did without any form of recourse to her old staff. I never bothered as an old staff until recently, when we started noticing some more incompetency in administration and management of the company. It rose to the extent that workers receive half salary sometimes without any briefing, allowances are not being paid and when they pay, they short pay us.

I couldn't hold it any longer as a man of justice and as such, I wrote to the Director after having meeting with the new GM. In my letter I expressed on behalf of other workers, the feelings of maltreatment and administrative Injustice, as most of them are afraid of opening up, to avoid being sacked.

Then after, the Director herself called for a general meeting and instead of to apologise for all these financial and managerial malfeaseances, she chose to tackle the old workers particularly myself, thinking that we were working against her. I still stood my ground on the path of Justice, finally she tried to pacify the workers by promising a salary increase, based on the number of years spent in the company. But then, I have been on her watchlist all through.

Any little mistake I make, she would capitalize on that to weigh me down. I now seek ur opinions, whether to continue in the company or resign. Good a thing, I have a business that even pay me better than the job.

That's why the Director has marked you. When push comes to shove, the other employees will abandon you to your fate.

Greetings to you all.

Since birth till date (I'm 31) I have never fallen sick to a point were a test is recommended, so I have never had a medical test all my life.

Sometimes when I feel feverish or down in anyway I usually buy malaria and typhoid medicines and that usually work for me.

But some time in 2018, (I was 27 then) I was informed by my uncle's wife that she was going to do a free medical outreach in our village as her own way of helping people (she's a nurse in U.S) and she told me she would like me to be present to help organize and sort out things to make the work easy for medical professionals she invited to do their work.

Majority of the people that turned up were oldies so we had loads of work to do bring in chairs for the overwhelming turn up.... people's blood pressure and blood sugar were check and they also had eyes test and corrective lenses were given.

Now, after the whole exhausting exercise, my auntie as a fondly call her asked all of us that worked to also check our BP and blood sugar, which took turns and did as instructed.

My blood sugar was normal according to the nurse but my BP was something else, 105/156... she immediately called my auntie's attention to it and she opted to check me herself using another equipment, she did and it came as 110/160..... she told me it's really very high and considering my age shouldn't be.

Prior to that event I have never felt anything awkward or unusual, I play football and do almost all exercises a young guy will want to do... it's also pertinent to note that I do not smoke and even though i drink beer i dont exceed 2 bottle because i have "light brain" like they will always say.

She ("my auntie" asked the senior doctor present to exchange contacts with me so that at intervals of 1 or 2 weeks I will always go check my BP and see if it will reverse to normal.... I went to his private clinic twice and the results was always high so he, on the second occasion gave me a card of 10mg drugs...

I took the whole card as direct and came back to the clinic this time the result was 100/138, he now asked me to always check it at any pharmacy store near me and always have the aforementioned medicines available.
The doc. asked me not to be taking it daily anymore but only when it's high (above 100/140), I have kept to this routine ever since...

Now my problem here is, in recent time I find myself feeling more week and dizzy and I dont even know how to describe the feelings
I become very worn out after 45 minutes football unlike me, I barely play now.

My auntie travelled back and seems to forgotten everything she promised, I call and no response and I hate pestering people.
I want a solution to this BP thing, I feel bad about it all the time and always ashamed to even mention it
I feel I'm gradually going downhill health wise....I need help and I need it urgently please...... I can't take anything more than this

You think you are making sense. I have no support for any political party because it is idiotic to do so knowing that someone can be in APC on Monday, PDP on Tuesday and back to APC on Wednesday. No sane person will leave a paying job to start a business in this present day Nigeria.

Start the bakery and continue with your job. Is it going to be easy? No! If it is, everyone will be doing it. That's what separates winners from losers.

After about 6 months, you should have an idea of what you got yourself involved in without jeopardizing your steady cash flow through your job. As a banker in Nigeria, you should never have one income anyway.

The bakery must be up and running, profitable (or good potential) before you should consider quiting your job.

It is also good to note that no condition is permanent, things will definitely get better. A better job might come or my wife might get a job after her maternity which will increase our income.
