/ Dicey situation. I am not a lawyer but I know that Nigeria is very selective in application of her laws. But I can understand the frustration. I will be too if I were in their shoes. Imagine dipping hands into your accounts to fund an election while your opponent is getting a free ride. Considering what happened during EndSARS, they know that if mobilized well, Tinubu's loot is a dot in a circle compared to Diasporan funds. Nigerians in Nigerian are helpless. The most anger you will get about the situation in Nigeria is mostly from Nigerians living abroad who look around them and see the potentials of Nigeria that is being grossly mismanaged by incompetent buffoons in power. To the Nigerians in Nigeria, ignorance is bliss--3 cups of rice can sway their votes. Infact, Nigerians in Nigeria are the clogs in the wheels of progress. / |
/ Religious fanaticism is a mental illness that's why no sane being should be debating with those who are quick to preach up and down. Have you ever seen anyone quoting Bible always that behaves normal? They live in their own lala land / |
PNomsule:/ 1. Does Nigeria print her own money? 2. Why are other nations not turning on their printers as well? 3. Is Nigeria running a real Economy in the real sense of it? Personally I believe it is all textbook. The data you see just about everything in Nigeria is cooked up in a peppersoup joint. 4. Think about printing money in terms of supply and demand. Do what do you think will happen to naira if there is excess money supply in the system? 5. Currently there is excess liquidity in the system. The major issue is that they are converted into foreign currencies and banked outside Nigeria by looters. A lot of Nigerian money is not circulating in the system to support local economy. / |
/ Please read again. They conducted search for their drowned members and even conducted burial rites for them. And the military couldn’t finish them off during the search or burial? / |
/ Fake news! This is Lagos after Tinubu transformed it in 1999. / |
AntonVince:/ They don't know the source of Obi's diaspora fund. But they know the source of the fund in the bullion van. Tinubu's people should show a little bit of confidence. This incessant panic mode is not looking good on them. / |
Moh247:/ Interesting! Let's go by the statistics you posted: So APC won the 2022 Osun Election by a very wide margin. Why the emphasis on Ife South only? And Mr Adeleke is not the governor-elect. The problem with APC urchins is that you are smart by just a fraction. Amoda couldn't win in his home State Osun. He was informed that Edo no be Lagos. His invicibility lies only in the minds of those dependent on his monthly tokens to survive. Can you find out if Zainab is still a resident in Bronzefield prison? / |
/ The greatest gifts a woman gets are her children. If she marries in time, she will get to enjoy the full benefits. All the ones complaining about husbands and no love are living in delusion. The ones waiting for an angel to marry them will turn around at 40 and be filled with regrets. Marrying at 30 is a tad too late. Marrying after 35 is pushing your luck. At 40 and over, just admit that you failed yourself. I want to get my B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D before marriage. Really? Na you and menopause dey drag so. Marriage doesn't stop education. Marriage is not for everybody? Ok. Until you clock 40 and still single...then you will know how far. / |
/ Life is difficult for single ladies above 27 in Asian countries. They are called "left overs" and with that comes depression. In Nigeria I think it is after 30 years. / |
EgunMogaji2:/ Congratulations. Marriage in Nigeria is the best for any man ![]() A wise lady will cool down and enjoy everything you have to offer. Tell her that I said so. / |
Obinoscopy:/ Medications were invented for a reason either to cure or maintain a patient. They used the same tactics to tune up Yar'Adua until he got into Aso Rock. The question is: Is Tinubu the best APC have to offer? / |
/ It boils down to perception. When Tinubu speaks, you see a man with no integrity swimming in the ocean of desperation. / |
/ That's for those asking why some aspirants dodged the NBA Conference. Some people are not comfortable interacting with educated and intelligent minds lest they show their empirical shallowness. They'd rather issue statements through proxies. / |
EgunMogaji2:/ Kindly explain. Keyword: married. / |
plaindealer:/ ...And it didn't occur to you that PVC registration was based on place of residence and not place of origin. / |
LegendHero:/ Exactly. That's why we have steady electricity in Nigeria which he admitted prior to his appointment that it is not rocket science. Stop celebrating and worshipping mediocrity. A good leader in Nigerian context is whoever can afford to give N5k to each voter on election day. / |
LegendHero:/ Where do I start? A team of drug dealers have leader called baron. Mafians have a leader called the godfather. Cultists have a leader called "the capo". Fallen angels have a leader called Satan. So imposition of leaders is not a feat. What you tactfully missed out is good leader because none of the Tinubu's houseboys he imposed on the people have done anything remarkable worthy of encomiums. Leadership in Nigeria is up for sale and whoever has the most loot can buy the way in for his cronies. The goal is to keep the corruption machine oiled to ensure steady returns at the detriment of the general populace. Is that what you are celebrating? / |
LegendHero:/ Do you know the meaning of a "leader"? Putting someone in a position of power to satisfy a kingmaker's interests does not make an impostor a leader. / |
etokhana:/ Those rocket-launchers(?) are high tech./ |
Lurdmax10:/ Buhari said that he would lead at the battlefront. Shettima is saying that he will lead at the battlefront. ![]() / |
/ I bet you that most people shouting "Structure" cannot define it. It is a cliche ![]() / |

Who is in APC, PDP, LP and others? We won't know until a month to the election. Every politician is still playing monkey post. You may wake up the next day and hear that Osibanjo decamped to NNPP. / |
/ Yahoo has nothing to do with education. High unemployment + lack of social services are what's supporting Yahoo business. Educated ones cannot find jobs. Unemployed graduates have no social security. Then throw bad governance into the equation, everyone turns to OYO. It cannot be stopped completely. But the factors mentioned above are what's enticing more youths to join the scam. / |
naptu2:/ This is the second time you are pushing this thread on front page in a month. Everything ok with you? / |
Michelle70:/ Nigerians are quick to cry "racism" against whoever is not willing to tolerate their bullshit. They are shocked that some countries enforce their laws unlike the shithole they come from. An average Nigerian needs to undergo MK Ultra before being released into a decent society. / |
gloryhomemaker:/ Did you check if it is real rice or plastic rice? Plastic rice do not go bad. ![]() / |
Michelle70:/ The Chinese are not racists. Nigerians and Africans are the ones selling themselves cheap. Don't expect premium valuation when you market yourselves as worthless. / |
Felabrity:/ You think so? Why won't Nigeria be? When folks praise governors to high heaven for constructing ordinary pedestrian bridges and flyovers. Can you imagine all the good works done by FG and most remarkably Gov. Lateef Jakande being ascribed to a drug lord? Tinubu is not fit to tie Jakande's shoes when it comes to development. But he wants to steal all the credits and his band of sycophants cannot wait to twist the truth. / |
Holiness2100:/ They will find solution soon including but not limited to using artificial irrigation. Trust Africans, they would have thrown away their brains, grab their Bibles and start prophesying end of time. Then at the end, nothing gets solved. ![]() / |
adenigga:/ I love it. So that students will have time to campaign for APC and continuity. Cutting the head to spite the ears? Time waits for nobody. / |
JealousCobra:/ Lies! Lagos was a desert until Tinubu became a governor and transformed it into Singapore. / |
Rozross:/ Most men that found favour in the eyes of God in the Bible were polygamists. Solomon even topped it up with many concubines. Yet God didn't condemn them. Go figure! / |
