It is rather idiotic to be vouching for a Nigerian politician. The only good thing out of Jonathan was conceding the election. Go back in history and doublecheck his stint in Aso Rock. At a point, he claimed that he was the most criticized President in the world. The criticisms were for some reasons comprehensible to him but incomprehensible to the mor.ons who tag him a hero.

Worse than corruption in Nigeria is the repeated comparison of two bad leaders to determine who is worse. What happened to clamouring for a good leader at least for a change? Is there any hope for Nigeria? I don't think so considering that many people with your mindset liter the whole political space. Some of you can vote in Shekau (the Boko Haram) leader so that you can compare him with Buhari forgetting that two wrongs do not equate to right.

That's rocket science. Everyone is more interested in learning how to put billions in his/her account while neglecting the basic things that make life worth living.

Trump has been goading OPEC since to increase oil production. High oil price adds to inflationary pressure which will force Feds to increase rate. Trump wants low rates because it attracts borrowing for investors which will spur investments. Most importantly, there will be increase in discretionary spending by the citizens. All in all, good for the economy. Low oil price is good for US economy. If oil price stays low, the chance of Trump winning re-election increases. The only bump is the crash of equities . Like I stated last week, wealth redistribution is in progress. The next millionaires in the next decade are being created now.

Enugu airport is being upgraded.
Enugu-PH expressway is smooth with a few bad spots (between Leru and Ishuagu) and ongoing construction.
The dreaded Obigbo portion of PH is being built to highest standard and flow of traffic has greatly improved. Recurrent fuel scarcity and sleeping in gas stations are things of the past.

Take it or leave it, Buhari is doing more than GEJ did in my humble opinion. I will score him low on security and fighting corruption. But I love the Nigeria I saw last month.

It has nothing to do with US. It is between Russia and Saudi Arabia. Russia didn't want to play ball at the last OPEC meeting and Saudi decided to give huge discount in prices. And here we are. US economy is not hugely tied to oil export like Russia and Saudi Arabia. A country like Nigeria is justa mere spectator.

In other words, flu virus was more deadly in USA alone than Coronavirus has been globally. Why all the fearmongering? I still point to financial markets and wealth-redistribution which happens approximately every 10 years. The noise about Coronavirus is not worth it. New World Order agenda is in progress. This is really a sad moment for every Nigerian students out there, when you fit into a job description and then you found out they only want people with higher degree.

Graduating with a 3rd class or pass degree I believe is no sin. But employers out there would not even look at your CV when you are below par, no matter the amount of experience you are bringing. Some unavoidable things must have happened in school that led to that, but nobody cares.

How then do you tell that to the people around you? Especially your parents or guardians who’d be feeling like their investments on you went down the drain. When people finish from the university with a third class or pass degree, they most times feel like their whole world came crashing down on them. How then do one get to a good job?

I personally fall into this category due to some unforseen circumstances but who cares. After searching fruitlessly for jobs for a year now, I just have to sit back and think about my life.

My fellow Nairalanders what is the way forward?No job, no capital to startup my own business, no money to go back for a postgraduate course. Its just me myself and I (Owusagi)

People are taking the same precautionary measures they take against flu which is proper hand hygiene. But to the extent the media is faning it, most travelers I encountered at US airports, Frankfurt and Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport are carrying on like it is a fairy tale. I could count how many people that wore face masks.
