/ The sad reality is that Buhari's presence or absence makes no difference. He is mentally incapacitated to face the rigours of leadership in 21st century. The few reasonable things that happened in the last two years had been by the doggedness of Osibanjo. Buhari is just a figure head like Shagari used to fill the Northern slot. // |
I can't help but laugh. Poor Osibanjo. He will be doing all the work without recognition while Buhari will be back to be chilling in Aso Rock as a nominal President only. Buhari is old and frail for the rigours of the office. Buhari's presence or absence in Nigeria does not offer succor to the suffering masses. Two years and going yet nothing tangible has been achieved. Everything is at standstill. I will continue to pray for Nigerians trapped in Nigeria. That's all I can do. \ |
I think that it depends on the nature of the business. Do people buy fuel on credit? Credit may be extended to trusted and loyal customers only. \. |
obailala:Chloroform powder |
Why would Nigerians in UK protest? Why drink Panadol for another person headache? The people in Nigeria do not care. They are busy fighting along political line as if APC and PDP are any different. I think they should mind their business and let Nigerians continue living the way they do until the weak links die off. Perhaps thst would bring sanity to the remaining ones. Nigerians are not worth sticking the neck out for--a bunch of greedy and selfish ingrates. Education and common sense are inversely proportional in Nigeria. The more educated they are, the less common sense they have. The artisans and market women would organize protests but the seemingly educated ones will jump on fb, twitter,nl, etc to analyze how awesome things are based on something they read in some book somewhere just to show off their level of literacy. Why bother? \ |
PanickMode:Continue your menial job. Continue to save. The day you look in the mirror and don't like what you see is the day you start gunning for entrepreneurship with your saved capital. By then you should have more in your account.N700k seems like a lot of money but it is not. One chandoom and your back to square one. / |
That's what happens when you don't stay in your lane. 3 major tribes in Nigeria: One is notorious for bombing, the other is wire fraud and the other one is drugs. By the name I wouldn't expect him to delve into wire fraud. I guess he thought he knew better than the masters. I hope he has enough supply of butt plug. \ |
Ogonimilitant:Some people are bad negotiators and that's why their lives are stagnant. Who names their last price in a negotiation? There is always room for haggling. Kanu asks for secession. Others ask for restructuring. FG (the North) make their own request. Then everyone reaches a compromise. Policemen will ask for N20k bribe. A motorist begs them with N2k. At the end, the egunje masters take N5k. A policeman holding a motorist with gragra for N20k knows that he ain't getting N20k but he has mastered the art of negotiating with drivers. How is the above scenario different from what Kanu is doing? He may not get secession but that is a discomforting extreme to start negotiating with the Nigerian state. / |
/ That moment a Yoruba friend begs you to escort am go somewhere.... Just say NO. / |
juwoonn:LOL. I never knew they pay in US dollars in UK. Do you need a few minutes to rethink your story? \ |
/ I never believe I could utter these words... Something is definitely wrong with Yoruba people. How many people do they kill everyday for rituals? Absolutely reprehensible! And thess are just the ones lucky to be in the news. // |
/ Buying a new car to be used on Nigerian roads is one of the most stupid thing to do. It defies logic. // |
If you have ever travelled to many cities of the world, you will know that Lagos is barely fit for human habitation. / |
limeta:LOL. Charly Boy talked and yabbed Kanu. Well, he put his legs where his mouth is.... And nearly got lynched in public. Heck, they are still threatening to lynch him. To Frank I say, talk is cheap. \ |
I believe that EFCC could afford a better writer. The actors tried but the script is very amateurish. At this level, they don't leave threats; they just do it. / |
keplerphobia:Schools are on strike. Better keep the venue a top secret. There are many freeloaders on NL with nothing better to do waiting to eat and drink you into bankruptcy. Congratulations! \ |
/ Good for her. She wants to marry someone who could not afford N50k bail money. / |
|| I guess marriage is not in their agenda. || |
It will not be a problem if you know what to look for: 1. Unrealistic odometer reading. 10 years vehicle with 60k miles? Yeah right. 2. Accidented and resprayed vehicless are easy to tell. 3. Flooded vehicles are easy to detect. If in doubt, pay an eagle-eyed inspector to take a look. \ |
Necessity is the mother of invention. Out of so-called love, someone will inherit another person's avoidable problems by marrying without confirming the status of her womb or fertility of his sperm, marrying without lab blood tests. After about 3 years of marriage when the scales fall off their eyes, they end up in misery and regrets. Talk to all the divorcees, they all had happy weddings and hoped to live happily ever after...then reality happened. No pregnancy, no marriage. No HIV and hepatitis tests, no marriage. I wouldn't want a wife that will be married to pastors and babalawos behind my back upon say she dey find pikin. This is 21st century and we must move with time and adapt. Final final na baby mama way. \ |
Charly Boy is a big disappointment. Why did he run? He should have stood his ground so that those almajiris will baptize him with "one Nigeria". Talk is cheap. Asari Dokubo and Nnamdi Kanu will be laughing their behinds off right now. \ |
/ The funny thing is that people believe that Buhari is sick. I think he ran away. / |
victorDanladi:I wonder if these projects can be finished in 20 years. At this pace, all it takes is one bad governor and it all goes up in smoke. \ |
/ Shouldn't they be matching to Bishop's house instead? \ |
/ How do you expect someone who receives daily doses of spiritual slaps to talk straight? \ |
/ They don't have to stay off romantic relationships. They should be encouraged to opt for "no expenses" relationships. That way....the equation is balanced. \ |
otil1:/ It is a matter of semantics. It is still a case of bad vs bad. \ |
OnyeAmuma:Remember that you have to pay a lawyer. It is only a suspension so take a vacation. Consider the environment you live and work in before taking any actions. The current job market favours employers. \ |
Nigeria is such a hopeless and cursed nation that the citizens always debate, fight and compare mediocrity vs mediocrity to decide which one is worse. Blessed is the day they will start comparing The Good vs The Bad. \ |
stane007:Nonsense story. It is impossible. Arabian men are chronic misogynists and racists by virtue of their culture. Any Nigerian lady that dates them must be desperate and worse, willing to bear psychological abuses. Such used Arabian toilet has no dignity left to be able to walk away from a glamorous marriage because of any reason. It is all about cash. \ |
/ June-July: When every public official showcases his/her ward(s) graduating from a UK university and all the riff-raffs jump all over themselves to congratulate them. Una go stay home tire. The people they are striking against have no children in any of the universities in Nigeria. So they couldn't care less. // |
laudate:If a 419er scams an oyibo, does it make all Nigerians fraudsters? Should the action of a few be blamed on all? This is why generalization and stereotypes are bad. \ |

Tomorrow, let one anuofia come and tell me that IPOB is not an intolerant, violent organisation, and see whether I will not give him a piece of my mind!
