EfemenaXY:/ I don't know if you noticed, but the discussion is about mode of dressing by ladies in Nigeria. My response is based on the factors at play in Nigeria. If in doubt, dress provocatively and walk into a market. All those garri and akara sellers (fellow women) will boo you. And the thugs and wheelbarrow pushers will grope you. Do you want to fight them? Do you want to call the police on them? The policeman at the station will gawk at you and will do the "needful" if no one is paying very close attention. Women liberation is centered on education and not nudity. You cannot objectify yourselves and cry wolf when men follow your lead. \ |
EfemenaXY:/ Yep. And I stated that "there will always be criminals in our midst" But then and again, there is what is called "path of least resistance" And you wonder why corporations spend millions in "advertisement" -- What the eyes see, cherish; the soul wants. I am not talking about women in general. My focus is on Nigerian ladies in Nigeria who know quiet well that the society offers then no protection. A lady who goes on a date in a skimpy skirt is an easier target compared to one who gets it wrapped up in a tight jeans. Statisticians refer to it as "higher probability of an event occurring" . \ |
EfemenaXY:/ You got that right. There will always be criminals. The argument the lady put up per women liberation is like someone questioning the rationale for installation of burglar proofs in a house after all oyibo has given us CCTV to monitor activities remotely. Not that burglary will not happen, but why make it easier for burglars? Even some wanna-be burglars, seeing how easy the access is, may be tempted to act upon the urge. Do not openly advertise an unprotected asset you are not willing to lose. Isn't it sad that the same ladies will go to extra-ordinary lengths to secure their iphone 6 but not their poon. SMH. \ |
EfemenaXY:/ I like your position. However, I have always said that if you want to copy something, make sure the same conditions apply. If you choose to be half-naked down the street, no wahala. Oyibo do am, you do am. With the incessant cases of rape in our society, you are giving the rapists easy access to your kitten. In the West, the cops will be all over the case using forensic science. But in your case, even before you can get a PEP, they will demand for police report from NPF of all people. If you choose to latch unto women liberation to promote indecency, you will end up exposing young girls to randy men. And worst of all, there are no repercussions for the rapists in Nigeria. They will end up greasing the palms of DPOs who will even rape the victim too if opportunity presents itself. So, my dear, tailor your choice to your environment. At the end, the question is: Who is fooling who? \ |
saxywale:I don't know about Nigeria but when a country like Venezuela is having difficulty paying her bills, then there is a big problem. Saudi Arabia gave a huge discount to the market. ISIS is selling at highly discounted prices. USA has more oil than they need that they stopped importing (especially from Nigeria). China is getting her oil at a very cheap rate that Nigeria may be forced to match the prices if the trend persists. FG is not telling the whole truth which is understandable since no government would want to create panic in her system. Best case scenario will be create a disaster that will force shorts to cover, oil price goes up and then will be an ample opportunity for the "bigger" boys to get in at a good price to sit on oil price until Russia bleeds to submission via olive branch tap out. \ |
Mrkuvuki:Hate them or love them...when USA sneezes, the world catches cold. As I stated earlier, war in 2014 and beyond could be physical or in economics. Lower oil price is American way of putting Russia where they belong. Russian economy is going down with oil prices. They can stir up the pot as much as they want, the them Yankees will keep fracking and their Hedgies will keep dumping until Putin bows down to the "bigger" boys. Saudi has already given OPEC the middle finger. ISIS is selling at $35/barrel. Nigeria is truly inconsequential in the global arena. So folks, be ready to use your crude oil to cook soup soon. By the way, if the trend continues, I see unrest in some countries soon similar to Middle East crisis that ate up some of their supposedly invincible leaders in Libya and Egypt. Lol. There are boys. And there are men. Some people run this shit. \ |
Kudos! |
The same way money saved from fuel subsidy would be used to create jobs and fix the refineries. Hahaha. Any id.iot can take Nigerians for a ride. As GEJ mumu reach, he still can play with the intelligence of Nigerians... You can imagine if a real guyman mounts the saddle. Well. .wetin concern me?(!) / |
Nice! I hope they spent equal amount of effort and money to prepare for marriage. |
d banj don turn business man o..but doro jazzy dey make cool cash too sha.. but d banj is now properly connected to world powers so he will hardly b broke but jazzy getting broke is possible
/ You are wrong! Wealth, if you have it, you will dine with kings and queens. You lose it, you are on your own. Connections or no connections, D'Banj better keep his money...because when affluence switches to bankruptcy, calls to his connections will start entering voice mails. In fact, he will be the one hiding from his connections. Many stars have fallen before. \ |
firstolalekan:/ It will be interesting for a Programming class... Especially the loop. \ |
http://www.stelladimokokorkus.com/2014/10/ini-edo-has-not-bought-n38m-g-wagonna.html#more Ini Edo Has Not Bought A N38m G-Wagon...Na Lie! This is to actually retract a story i just did this Afternoon that the actress just bought a G-wagon...No she didn't....She went car shopping and snapped with the car that was being circulated and somehow the pic found its way to the net.....Don't ask me how.. She went shopping for a G-wagon worth N38million 3 weeks ago but when she was told the price, she couldn't afford it and left...She didn't buy the car. No one knows how the car pics got online but Ini Edo has not bought this car but is actually looking for a fairly used G-wagon in the same category that is not too expensive. However the actress recently bought a house in Lekki worth N75million but is yet to officially 'announce' it the way Nigerian celebs announce their new acquisition. Whoever snapped this and circulated it,I raise yansh for una oh...... Ini must have seen the story viral on the net that she bought a G-wagon,one would expect she would use her social network to deny it....Mscheew! Sorry for misleading una....Apology accepted? |
\ Bianca is a bloody hypocrite! Few months after her husband died, she jumped in bed with PDP to butter her bread even though APGA made her a national leader in absentia. I guess she thinks PDP is bad for Ojukwu's god son but not his wife....pot calling kettle black. APGA (the first politicsl party to adopt GEJ, even before PDP) is dead and buried. / |
/ Who tie the Goat? Like seriously!?!?! \ |
/. The harm has been done. Call it guilty by association. Each time Ebola is mentioned, Nigeria comes into the news. When you fill out immigration form, you state you are coming from Nigeria and the Immigration officer tells you to join Line B...who are you going to call to protest? W.H.O? Even some Nigerians who are planning on going to Nigeria including mua are on standby mode. It is not that we may contact Ebola, just the stigma on coming back from colleagues is enough deterrent. The concerns may not be voiced out, but the body language will tell all the stories. This is medicine after that. But if it makes you feel any better, so be it. / |
/ Blame it on CNN. The way they are going about Ebola and West Africa and recycling the news every 5 minutes, one would think that everyone in Nigeria has Ebola. There is a company here that if you come back from West Africa, you will not be allowed into the office until after 3 weeks to ensure that the employee is free from Ebola. Nawa o! Some naija sef don dey claim Caribbean for the mean time. Open eye abi patriotism no reach prejudice matter o. / |
DailyNews:/ What a sad story! Some people have problems. They know the solutions. But they would rather wait for acknowledgement from strangers to act. Whoever wears the shoes knows where it pinches. Most people would never understand his plight. Some will even go into biblical rant. God helps those who help themselves. It is same as marrying a temperamental spouse and praying for his/her deliverance. Is it possible? Yes! But do not put the Lord your God to test, so says the bible. People that study the bible for a living( the Okoties, the Oyakhilomes) understand this and know when to pull the plug on "unhealthy" (no pun intended) relationships. A bad spouse is worse than ailment. Talk about damaged good... |
liyuboy:/ This is why men die before women. You are in a loveless relationship and you are still not doing the needful because of some stupid societal pressure. SMH. People are suggesting that you talk to her because it is the most plausible thing to say to get a million likes. It is not as if you have not talked to her about these issues in two years of marriage. A bad character is a bad character and no amount of talking, counseling can change it. It can only apply a soothing feeling for awhile before the despicable trait rears its ugly head again. Marriage should not be a life sentence. If anyone does not fulfil you, pull a stop loss and move on. Don't let her use the children as a leverage. Guess what? When you die from all the stress, she and the kids will still live. Grow some balls and move on. Just make sure your kids are taken care of very well. In as much as we abhor it, kids growing up in a loveless family is as bad even if not worse than growing up in a single household. / |
ROSSIKE:\ Deal with the issue at hand. I get am before no be property. Stop showing idiocy in public....u never know, one of your umunna may be reading your comments too. And when it is time to appease the gods in your village, you know the akanogori they will sacrifice....YOU! \ |
/ Unbelievable!!! All these pictures of half unclad ladies... And no mention of Vaseline. You guys have really matured. Congratulations! \ |
/ Nigerians are like orphans who stand mesmerized to see a mother showing love to her kids. Because in their lives, such love does not exist. There are some government that care (or at least pretend to care) for their citizens. To a typical Nigerian fvcker, it is an aberration. After all, his/her understanding of government is a group of individuals that loot and then harass the citizens with convoy and some koboko-weilding Mopols. Kudos to Morocco. \ |
Lovettokon:/ The answer is very simple. Take a walk down to your local bar/joint. Check out the ladies and how many bottles of Big Stout they are downloading (because for their mind na "we go chop this guy tire" .All the carbs have to relocate somewhere...and they usually choose the gut. On Saturdays, the ladies go to stadium for physical fitness. And for the rest of the week, whatever they lose, they double 'em up through over indulgence. \ |
Ladystewie:/ A school may choose to make "picking nose" illegal and they must communicate with prospective students their rules and regulations. Outrageous? Yes. But if you sign the dotted line, you must obey it. If you must fight the school, it should be before accepting the terms and not after. I don't know the full details. It all depends on if the students understand that they should not have done those things in the first place. \ |
Ladystewie:\ Are there any laws against these "trivials" in the school? If Yes! They they deserve to be suspended. If you will not abide by their rules, change to a different school. If No! Then something is wrong somewhere / |
/ Possible Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Consider Sleep Study... then CPAP therapy @ NOC/sleep PRN \ |
Three7Ty9:/ He is saying that he will apply for a position that specifically needs an engineering degree even though he studied agric econs and is above the age requirement. And when the inevitable happens, he will blame his uncle in the village / |
Demdem:\ He was a beneficiary of his father's loot. And he enjoyed it to the fullest. So he is guilty as charged. Let him burn in hell...yes! I said it. / |
/ Only the living feels the pain of a dead relative. So...this punishment is for Alams. All those people who died by your omissions or commission in poor Niger Delta communities are crying unto Lord for vengeance. No rest/peace for the wicked. I have no sympathy for Alams and his family. After all, we shall all die too. E too sweet na im dey kill pass. As una dey enjoy looted fund abroad, God don award penalty against your side. Make I no hear say IBB return from Germany hale and hearty o. / |
MRbrownJAY:\ OWNED!!! / |
/ Simple solution. Divorce!!! You cheated. She cheated. Trust is dead. Why be in a relationship in which trust is inexistent? Una case don pass counseling matter. Close your eyes and imagine the moaning from your wife as other dudes are banging her. Is t hat someone you can trust? And when she looks at you, she imagines your hairy a.ss up and down as you rim another woman. There are billions of people in this world. You two are not meant for each other. If she no dash u na u go dash am better nyama nyama disease. Is it worth it? As a typical Igbo msn once said that no be say another man bang im wife dey pain am pass, na wetin dem use im name discuss wey give the other man liver to climb im wife dey worry him pass. Just move on! And for the fun of it, lace her with magun--person wey climb go gum for life ![]() / |
Sagamite:/ Why are you even bothering yourself? if Nigeria as it is, is an el Dorado, let them keep enjoying it Stop preaching to i.d.i.o.t.s. They don't know any better. I understsnd your frustration. Sometimes t he best way to teach these morons is to shove the truth down their throat. @ kobonaire @ gtrust. \ |
