If you're going to put a product in front of the masses then you ought to be ready for criticism.

And the sad thing is that you are somebody's child, what a total and complete waste of resource from ground zero up until now.
/
I don't understand what the debate is all about.

The project was a collosal waste of effort and resources.

If it were to be from Introductory Technology junior High students, I can understand.

But engineering students put four tires on a Keke, used Ragolis water container for a gas tank, and covered the crap with some pieces of metal put together by an imbe.cile and we are supposed to go gaga in jubilation. It is kind of stuff you see in the ghetto where kids whose parents cannot afford toys improvise to build something that would be used in a playground.

As a project, I score it an "F" because there is nothing original nor extraordinary about it. There was one olodo that put solar panels on a beat up junk VW beetle and called it a solar car. There was another one that built what he called a submarine in Lagos. Yeah! Suicide submarine for sure.

Stuff like this must be condemned so that those students will learn to use their brain next time and not freaking cut and join dumb shi.t like this. This is an embarrassment to UNIZIK's College of Engineering.
Then again, it is Nigeria where anomalies are fully integrated into the culture.

This should be moved to Jokes section. SMH.

The fact that u couldn't achieve such with all ur grammar makes it more ridiculous.
/
What is your point?

The scrap is what I will expect from mechanics at mgbuka Obosi or Ladipo spare parts dealers.

From engineering students? It makes mockery of tertiary education.

A roadside welder or 9th Mile corner panel-beater would design a body better than this.

The least they could do is pretend like they put in some thought into the process.

Come on. Are you freaking kidding me?

Nothing justifies a man beating up a women, no matter what she has done. A REAL MAN knows the best way to deal with a woman is to ignore her and walk away. Women are not human punching bags.

Nobody deserves to be a punching bag...man or woman.

A weaker man getting a beat down from a bully is no less condemnable than a woman being beaten by a man. And a stronger woman should not beat up a weaker man.

Violence against any human being is bad. Don't make it women's problem only.

Isn't it sad that in a country like Nigeria with a lot of educated, enterprising and teaming young generation, the only available options are GEJ, Buhari, Atiku and Kwankwanso.

What happened?

I have decided that as long as I am still alive, I will throw my hat into the ring in 2019.

I will use the next four years to prepare psychologically and otherwise. What is the worst thing that can happen? One thing must surely kill a man.

In all, Nigeria must be brought to the 21st century.

InvertedHammer, how provocative is provocative??
/
you post a picture on NL...

Team Vaseline comes out of their shelves.

You can imagine the reaction if the pictures are real and the opportunity presents itself.

Any lady that dresses provocatively (i.e in such a way to cause erection unintentionally) is advertising
herself for rape in Nigeria. Does that make it right? No!

If you see a lady that dressed indecently and got raped, as condemnable as rape is, most people will not be sympathetic to her.

Like I stated, because oyibo can dress in a certain way in their place does not mean that ladies in Nigeria could.
It is more common sense than logic.

I challenge you to wear a mini-skirt and take a night bus when next you travel. You will be woken up by a finger inside you.
You can raise hell. But guess what? The possible germ-infected finger has done its work. We have animals in our midst. The
least a lady could do is protect her poon from avoidable encroachment.

I also challenge you to go to the nearest police station in Nigeria to complain about sexual harassment and see if anyone of them
will pay attention to you. Ad if they do, it is because they want to extort money from you.

Yeah...that's how serious it is.

Car Talk › Re: When You Hit Or Kill Someone While Driving: What's The Right Thing To Do? by InvertedHammer: 2:08pm On Oct 28, 2014
ogawisdom:
This thread is motivated by the thread where a lecturer who ran to the police station after killing 5 pupil while trying to dodge a trailer was brought out from the police station and killed by angry mobs angry undecided. What did this man do wrong for God's sake it's an accident.

Now in this thread I want us to discuss d correct thing to b done if one finds himself in this situation as a Nigerian driver to avoid being killed like the lecturer above while showing some care for d one u hit ie assuming he/she is still alive n needs medical attention.

Ultimately drop one or two hints on how to avoid finding one's self in this situation.

Let's see what works in naija, though our diaspora bro and sis are welcomed.

My observation is that the driver is always wrong even if the person is practically lying down on the road. The driver is always accused of over speeding by everyone around even though the person hit was careless.

To avoid this situation as a driver I pay special attention to all road users while driving especially pedestrians; the most vulnerable are children, mad people, drunk people, agboro people, frustrated people looking for who to kill them, rioters, church crusade groups, other groups on the road to advertise something, and elderly ppl (their sense of judgement on the road is very poor and sometimes they are unaware they are on the road.
\
Drive to an Area Command or Central Police station.

If in the North, step on it.

Okonjo Iweala is a paper tiger. She has no slightest idea of what she is doing.

She worked in a system designed as plug and play. Challenged with moulding an economy unsupervised by the Western masters, she continues to look like a deer caught in a headlight.

The lady is being very honest. White is supposed to be a symbol of chastity/purity/virginity, so traditionally the white gown is supposed to proclaim the lady as untouched and untainted. The fact that she didn't wear a white wedding gown shows she understands the symbol of that colour.

It amuses me when I see some pregnant women getting married in white wedding gowns. What obtains these days is actually a mockery of the symbolic colour of white.
White is for purity...

And black is for what? Tainted?

Get your head off your u_know_what.

Hey ladies...wear whatever colour you want.

Holy smokes! shocked shocked shocked

Are those women or masquerades? And yet people complain about this mode of dressing referred to as being draped in an oversized tent?

Fückïng shït!

I bet applying InvertedHammer's theories of the path of least resistance and the higher probability of something happening must work a treat because despite the clothing, I still see exposed hands and feet meaning they would be totally at fault here if they get räpêd or assaulted. They are still "provocatively" dressed. Maybe wearing heavy duty safety boots and hand gloves might work?

And for guys like our complaining @op (5minsMadness), they aren't decently dressed because it's possible to discern the shapes of their heads. lipsrsealed
I will continue with the debate when you concentrate on thread. General mode of dressing for women is topic for another day. Today is about Nigeria, not Afghanistan nor Middle East.

Heck. Why don't you throw Australia and China into the mix?

Simple issue about western influence on Nigeria women's dressing....you continue to railroad every topic about women into it.

Perhaps you are being influenced by the erroneous assertion that men cannot win in any argument with women especially considering the fact that women tend to veer of topic just to irritate the opponent into submission. I know that's exactly what you are doing--taking a blind stab at anything just for the heck of it just to pat yourself on the back.
