/ MrsBreezy: Watch out. Ladies with your mindset are the easiest to game. Buy expensive ring. You are happy. Then switch it out with a good knock-off. You are still happy. Free osho for guy man. Then 6 months later, you start emailing bloggers looking for advice. As some gwongworo have it -- be careful. many have gone. \ |
Truckpusher: And here crawls in another retarrded fellow that likely falls into the same category of people he's making jest of.......smh\ Nice try.. Like I am going to stoop low to start trading banters with you. For your mind you have dealt me upper and lower cuts. Now you are the man and you are the shiznit. Dream on. If you need deodorant/antiperspirants, pm me so that I can send a year's supply to you. Otherwise, go and find your mate buddy. / |
/ Nigeria is proud to be home to free biological weapons. If properly harnessed, Nigeria will be a superpower. Imagine threat of malaria, korokoro, ebola, oko Babangida, and other orisirisi wey dey all the gutters for Nigeria. Or if Nigerian government can find a way to extract and store all the Nigeria men's armpit odours from Osogbo to Ikom. Even America go bow. \ |
MrsBreezy: Lol ill pay for the wedding and dress and all that good stuff.\ if you no pay for wedding, dress, all good stuff, ring and even your dowry join...I no marry. Good men are scarce commodities. I cannot be roped in for cheap. Yep..it has come to that. Outside of children, name one benefit of marriage to men in the long run.. / |
MrsBreezy:/ Good luck, young lady You are not looking for a rich man. So you are looking for a poor man that will sell his blokos to buy you a ring? \ |
MrsBreezy: And you wanna give her the best of the best. Cartier is the best of the best.\ See where you really belong. Cartier is the best of the best? LOL. Villager feeling funky!...an honest observation not an insult A good cartier ring runs for less than $1000. Is that how much your love is worth? LOL You are putting more emphasis on the ring without thinking of the marriage itself. After a year, we will be inundated with " A story of Life from a Blog visitor"...you sure fit the profile / |
MrsBreezy: You want to marry this girl... obviously she's worth all them jewellers and more... to you./ The intention is to marry her...2 becomes 1. I am not buying her. It will be an insult to my fiancee to appraise her value to the value of a ring. So if I buy $5000 ring for her, so she is not worth more than that to me? And if I sell a kidney to buy her a ring of $20k, does that mean I love her more? You got it all twisted. \ |
jashar: Choi OP. You just reminded me. I don't care if my gown is #2000 or if the whole ceremony costs #3000,but that ring ehn must come from only 3 jewellers./ I want a private jet, but I cannot afford it. The question is: Are you worth a ring from any of the jewelers? Most importantly, do you have what it takes to attract a guy who can afford such a ring? That is assuming that you can tell the difference between a quality ring and a knock-off. Most people cannot. They only look at the price tag which any guy man can manipulate. ![]() This is why job interviews are good -- They slap dreamers back to reality. \ |
MrsBreezy: Hmm ill say " no I won't marry you until you get me a proper ring you think I deserve..."/ You must still be a teenager or in your early twenties. By the time you reach 30, you will ask him to just pay the dowry. Fantasy is nice..but reality is a b.itch Many ladies said so but now are praying to be a second wife, by the special grace of God. Pray that it shall not be your portion. ! \ |
/ Yeah!!!!!!!!! This is Nigeria -- the El dorado you want diasporan Nigerians to move back to. Misery sure needs company! \ |
/ The old men can get together anytime and anywhere to discuss whatever they want. The fact that the youth are still looking up to these "analog" folks in this 2014 to move Nigeria forward is an indictment of the youths. Everyone is sitting around hoping that the next person takes action. There is this disgusting thing about Nigerian youths--it is only when they migrate to foreign countries (Isreal, South Africa, etc) that they start demanding for some rights. The same rights they cannot agitate for in their native country. Una never jam. 10 years from now, where do you think most of these men will be? 10 years from now, where will you be as a youth today? Most able bodies men in Nigeria are checking out. Who will develop Nigeria? Not these old men for sure. So if you want to keep waiting for Egbe Omo Yoruba, Gamji, Ohaneze, Arewa to come up with concrete plans to develop Nigeria, dream on! These men are attending these functions to get some little change to buy arthritis and blood pressure medications. Developing Nigeria that they may not live to enjoy is the least of their worries. Keep typing your bigotry on NL. The fact is that when all is said and done, you will wake up tomorrow morning in the cesspit you live in with your miserable lives still sucking as ever. \ |
IgboMonk: This is what Yorubas are expecting of Igboleaders abroad.www.nairaland.com/attachments/1666500_1530055_fayemi_jollof_rice_jpgbb7554b492e4135d445fa8a5dce6876f_jpeg8d4d2516d01466bd9988623c0881df20 \ You are wicked!!! ![]() / |
lomaxx: My wife earning more than me doesn't automatically translate to her being the breadwinner. I will pick all my family bills to the last naira - my wife may choose to help at her discretion. Her money is her money. If I run into shortage, I may borrow from her- pick the bills. When I'm back on my feet, I'll pay back to the last dime./ You said "her money is her money" She makes more money than you. Yet you pick all the bills. So what is her money for? Not for her family? Apparently you lack basic understanding of marriage. \ |

/ Fight against prostate cancer in men starts with frequent rub outs. Fight against "mas.turbation by men" is a power tussle between opposite sex. If more men jerk off, less chances they could be influenced by female folks. And women hate to loss control and the ability to manipulate men. Most importantly, it saves time and is remarkably cheaper than a girlfriend. ![]() But be nice...once in a month, reward your hands for all the good jobs they are doing by treating them to a good manicure. There you have it. \ http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn3942-masturbating-may-protect-against-prostate-cancer.html#.VAERcGPSTGw / |
\ Lesbians? May be. Militant feminists? Of course. Take a look at all the conditions. / |
urhoboman: So u were holding hand with a married woman and displaying love in public? SMH.\ Are you still surprised at why people die of unknown causes?.. .This is it!!! A man who dances to the melodious flattery of a woman usually ends up in the belly of a beast. OP is walking a slippery slope. It will only be a matter of time when.... / ? |
Rawani: The fact is Ihejirika has been named as a terrorist and El-rufai only drew attention to it. Emotional outbursts instead of a calm logical response is a simple sign of guilt.\ I listened to the Arise interview. I laughed at the allegations. That is a very smart move by BH. Rope in your nemesis, so that if you are going down, everyone goes down with you. Terrorists thrive on deceitful and psychological war games. Conversely, if Lt Gen. Ihejiriks as COAS knew with certainty that El Rufai was a sponsor of BH...why didn't he make arrangement with other security personnel to pick him up for questioning? Teflon Shekau is throwing every conspiracy of sponsors to the wall with the hope that some will stick for the media and the ever-gullible, albeit fed up masses. Nigeria is a very weird and unpredictable place. \ |
/ Money palava! Single lady and broke: Eligible men dey run BC u fit be liability. Sugar daddy!!! Single lady and rich: Eligible men dey run BC u fit be pompous and arrogant. Or worse, a runs girl. Chewing gum boy!!! In all, prayer answereth all things. Man and woman matter? Na only God go judge am. \ |
/ @OP: Racism is a form of discrimination based on race. I think you are using both terms interchangeably in your article \ |
/ We all have our misconceptions. It is human nature. Just the same way that people in Nigeria think that life in USA is all rosy and getting US$ is just like a walk in the park. Heck. I used to think that every Asian is an expert in karate. \ |
/ Can someone here name any successful business in the world today that was not initially greeted with skepticism? @OP...Goodluck in your endeavors! \ |
/ Why the misuse of opportunity?! This is the opportunity to add chicken, suya, shawama and turkey to the Ebola saga. As a matter of fact, throw in Tantalizer, Mr. Bigg's menu into the mix...that way... guys can breathe a sigh of relief. \| |
lynx200: Na wa O!!! Who put this thread on front page\ A very matured response! I hope you understood that it was a friendly suggestion. / |

/ I know some of you are looking for consolation... OK. Here it comes. If they like and they can afford it, they can send their children to a school where tuition is N1 bn per session. Secondary school network is only somewhat useful. How many of your Sec. School friends are you still in touch with today? Some parents pay the fees because they can afford it, or for security reasons or perhaps, for bragging rights. But you should take succour in knowing that those kids will grow up to be managers, engineers, doctors and lawyers. So instead of envying them, the less fortunate should aspire to be in a good profession and then be hell good at it. You will be surprised to know that one of your co-workers in the office is one of those "ajebutter" kids. But most importantly, do not hate because God butter person bread. The most important network is the one made in the University. By then most people are somewhat matured to know their real friends, people they have common interests with; and not a lot of "my daddy", "my momsie" kind of discussion is bound to hold. \ |
CityNG: Part of my 3 weeks holiday in Nigeria a few weeks ago was spent poaching for my CupidNG site. I met many beautiful Women who looked the business but didn't measure up when it comes to the feet. ![]() |
voltron: hhhhhmm foot fetiush eh\ Not foot fetish issue dude. Like CityNG pointed out "it is an epidemic"...absolutely reprehensible, if I may add. / |
CityNG: Why do most/some Nigerian Women not take proper care and beautification of their feet?\ Finally. ... I thought I was the only one that noticed You see a beautiful damsel, you approach her....notice her feet and feel like vomiting a la dirt, corn, chaps and dirty toe nails. And worse, still forming "classy babe". / |
/ Just wondering what Lagos Island will look like after the rain \ |
