Foreign Affairs › Re: BREAKING: Uganda Supreme Court Strike Down Anti-gay Law. by InvertedHammer: 5:51pm On Aug 01, 2014 |
/ The Supreme Court has just provided relief for gays.
The main issue is that usually before the law intervenes, the suspects have already been roasted.
Illegal = suspects go to jail. Not illegal = suspects get barbequed.
I think making it illegal is safer for gays---at least they will have their days in court vs. having a date with tire and fuel.
Prevention is better than cure--avoid an@l invasion of another man.

/ US police officers carry assault rifles too. It is neatly strapped in their cruisers. But most of the time they use handguns for basic duties.
Also it is usually 1 cop:1 car or in rare cases a cop and a rookie in one cruiser unlike Nigeria that packs 4 or more police officers in one vehicle.

/ How time changes!
I never knew a time would come when muslims will be against violence.
BH has changed from "let's kill the infidels" to "let's kill anything that moves"
Muslim brothers should know that no be to give water to monkey na wahala,na to retrieve the cup.
You armed BH. They ran out of christians and southerners to kill. Now they have turned the barrels of guns to their supporters and sponsors. It is difficult for one who has killed before to stop. Absolute power corrupts and could be very intoxicating. Shekau has tasted the allures of power through violence. I see no end in sight.
The hunters have become the hunted. \ |

Excuse me OP..I just had to format the article to make it easy to read.Fatdon: Ten Obvious Reasons Why Islam is NOT a Religion of Peace
#1 18,000 deadly terror attacks committed explicitly in the name of Islam in just the last ten years. (Other religions combined for perhaps a dozen or so).
#2 Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, had people killed for insulting him or for criticizing his religion. This included women. Muslims are told to emulate the example of Muhammad.
#3 Muhammad said in many places that he has been "ordered by Allah to fight men until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger." In the last nine years of his life, he ordered no less than 65 military campaigns to do exactly that. Muhammad inspired his men to war with the basest of motives, using captured loot, sex and a gluttonous paradise as incentives. He beheaded captives, enslaved children and raped women captured in battle. Again, Muslims are told to emulate the example of Muhammad.
#4 After Muhammad died, the people who lived with him and knew his religion best immediately fell into war with each other. Fatima, Muhammad's favorite daughter, survived the early years among the unbelievers at Mecca safe and sound, yet died of stress from the persecution of fellow Muslims only six months after her father died. She even miscarried Muhammad's grandchild after having her ribs broken by the man who became the second caliph. Fatima's husband Ali, who was the second convert to Islam and was raised like a son to Muhammad, fought a civil war against an army raised by Aisha, Muhammad's favorite wife - and one whom he had said was a "perfect woman." 10,000 Muslims were killed in a single battle waged less than 25 years after Muhammad's death. Three of the first four Muslim rulers (caliphs) were murdered. All of them were among Muhammad's closest companions. The third caliph was killed by allies of the son of the first (who was murdered by the fifth caliph a few years later, then wrapped in the skin of a dead donkey and burned). The fourth caliph (Ali) was stabbed to death after a bitter dispute with the fifth. The fifth caliph went on to poison one of Muhammad's two favorite grandsons. The other grandson was later beheaded by the sixth caliph. The infighting and power struggles between Muhammad's family members, closest companions and their children only intensified with time. Within 50 short years of Muhammad's death, even the Kaaba, which had stood for centuries under pagan religion, lay in ruins from internal Muslim war... And that's just the fate of those within the house of Islam!
#5 Muhammad directed Muslims to wage war on other religions and bring them under submission to Islam. Within the first few decades following his death, his Arabian companions invaded and conquered Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and Zoroastrian lands. A mere 25 years after Muhammad's death, Muslim armies had captured land and people within the borders of over 28 modern countries outside of Saudi Arabia.
#6 Muslims continued their Jihad against other religions for 1400 years, checked only by the ability of non-Muslims to defend themselves. To this day, not a week goes by that Islamic fundamentalists do not attempt to kill Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists explicitly in the name of Allah. None of these other religions are at war with each other.
#7 Islam is the only religion that has to retain its membership by threatening to kill anyone who leaves. This is according to the example set by Muhammad.
#8 Islam teaches that non-Muslims are less than fully human. Muhammad said that Muslims can be put to death for murder, but that a Muslim could never be put to death for killing a non-Muslim.
#9 The Qur'an never once speaks of Allah's love for non-Muslims, but it speaks of Allah's cruelty toward and hatred of non-Muslims more than 500 times.
#10 "Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!" (The last words from the cockpit of Flight 93) |

It is nothing new. Guangzhou is a place where you see all manners of Nigerian misfits with earpiercings "forming" Yankee. There is a hotel within the business district where some of the traders lodge at night. The game is that the one with valid documents gets a room and others sneak in for the night when the receptionist's attention is diverted. If you cannot sneak in...oh well. Outside the hotel is a little drinking joint that serves local dishes like isi-ewu, pepper soup, etc. The place is a bubbling spot for Nigerian men and Ethiopian female prostitutes. Be ready to see men leave their food and tear race if there is a rumour or alarm of Immigration officials within the vicinity. See hustle. They make for good shopping escorts. They add their nzama and life goes on. Talk about gold-diggers and jealous gf, I don't think anyone beats the Chinese women to that. U go hear how they sleep holding their naija guy manhood to make sure the thing no waka go bang another woman. . I heard that before, the Immigration will just deport some people. But these days, na u go buy your ticket. So some naija guys still dey detention attracting demurrage because nobody come clear them as cargoes. China is tough. You are better off driving okada or Keke in Nigeria. As it seems, a lot of folks are stuck there. Stay...wahala; leave...wahala. Boys make u shine una eyes before jumping on that plane to China. |

Travel › Re: Pitiable condition of Port Harcourt /Owerri road (Umuapu axis) by InvertedHammer: 6:14pm On Jul 14, 2014 |
vanndubi: It is with heavy heart I present before the house, the deplorable condition of part of Port Harcourt /Owerri federal road.
The last time I visited Owerri was in November 2013. By then, RSG has completed its section of the expressway on behalf of FG and IMG was working from Owerri end on behalf of FG. I was in PH on Saturday and I decided to travel to Owerri on Sunday to spend the day there. Sunday morning, I hit the road.
I was hoping to have a jolly good ride. Omagwa to Elele was less than 20 mins n I was like but on entering Imo, I was like why has the contractor not completed the work to merge with the completed Rivers side.
I was like when I came face-to-face a sight very difficult for me to describe. I started having doubts if I was in 2014. It was like a war tore area like it was 1970 just after the civil war or like Okigwe /Afikpo federal road back in the 90s.
I looked at my phone to confirm the date. Lo n behold, it was 2014 A trunk A road linking two cities in African's Biggest economy. I was about to have a fit when I saw a truck carrying 20ft container literally broken into two(possibly as a result of bad road). My phone still in my hands, I decided to take a few shots.
FG should remember that federal roads are their responsibility, that IMG is only helping, that imo citizens pay their taxes like anyother citizen of Nigeria and that "there is God in everything we are doing. Then, to IMG, why start FG project when you know you cannot finish it, why?
I don't know exactly how government works but I am appealing to Owelle to do his best to complete the Imo side of the road. Maka ndi Igbo n'asi n'ihe foro otu, agwula agwu. Ana achu aja, ka ikpe ana ama ndi mmuo.
Hope after posting this, sleep will come (I'm still recovering from the shock of yesterday's morning) / Is this a new style?\ |
