I love this. Really interesting. Don't mind haters who are simply angry at not being called. I enjoyed it all.
I think this will be a forum for people to air their views concerning Nairaland . Maybe somebody will be able to point out contentious issues like the rules and it's effect on nairaland as well as how members are banned.
Kudos guys smiley

PoliticsRe: Posters Of Jonathan And Buhari Compete For Space In Abuja by iphy42: 1:31pm On Jul 16, 2013
joleram: pls dont take offence in what the guy posted. Why? because if Buari and GEJ should contest on a neutral ground, GEJ will beat Buari hands down. because Buari is regious bias. He will rule this country with passion for Islam than any other regioun. Even, Buari has never hidden his feelings for this. Most of the time, he try to stylistically commend boko haram instead of mourning for those who are dead. If it is nother person that want to contest with GEJ, I may not doubt it.
Is the above truly your fair assertion? Bihari is a religious bigot abi?
Then who is GEJ- a friend of terrorists, a promoter of corruption, a giver of no damn, a power drunk to mention but a few.
Don't be offended but I am not a fan of Buhari Or GEJ.
I will not vote if both of them contest an election undecided
I advocate for people to make informed and rational choices.

Dike Chimezie: And the winner is Goodluck Ebele Azikwe Godsent Jonathan. One good turn deserve another.Once a winner, always a winner.
When did u single handedly become the Nigerian electorate to declare a winner. Rigging sure should be included in the constitution as one big achievement of GEJ so people like u can thrive in their folly. Mtcheerw. I weep for my country!cry
PoliticsRe: Soyinka's Folly by iphy42: 12:53am On Jul 14, 2013
I see no folly in Soyinka, he only aired his views as enshrined in a democracy. The folly lies in the person who blindly supports another on good and in evil. Let us stand for truth no matter whose matter is discussed.
PoliticsRe: I Will Never Stop Supporting Jonathan! by iphy42: 12:43am On Jul 14, 2013
GEJ's paid agents on the loose. Why not back up your claim with evidence or is it because the lies of laptop crew have been exposed and there is no new ploy by sincere Nigerian.
Maybe as a GEJ fan, u want all frontpage to brim with your many concorted lies.

I believe Nairaland is fair enough.

Ghana speaks really horrible English. If you are not conversant with the technicalities in English language, pls don't post so as not to confuse others.

Nigerians speak the best English in Africa. Quote me anywhere!

Garri the 1st: Face topic. Some of these dudes ought to go back to the village if they can't make a decent living in Lagos, it's as simple as that!!

There are places in Nigeria where with 15k a month you can live comfortably.....
Didn't you read the part that said they were based in Ghana.

For those spewing thrash on different administrations In Deeper life pls refer to a 2006 topic here
www.nairaland.com/9651/why-youths-run-away-deeper

It is hypocritical to lie to cover up a deed done in good faith
CelebritiesRe: Eye Witness Defends Kumiyi's Son's Wedding! Says Pictures Were Altered by iphy42:
I don't condemn her in any way, intact I love her for standing out. Just that she should have adhered to the doctrine of Deeper Life. It doesn't make her an unbeliever but It's just that in Lagos here Deeper life members have been suspended for using wedding gown or flowers. I know people who left the church because of their rigidity on outward appearance. A rich Aunt was always scared of wearing expensive lace to deeperlife gathering or even wedding hence the outburst. Many people have been denied the joy of worshipping with Deeper life because of their rigid ways so they feel the GO's son should tow same line. I believe this should take those concerned to the drawing board and maybe take a cue from RCCG where they have classical/ modern branches to allow people serve God based on their preferences in modesty, holiness and righteousness for the propagation of the gospel and love of Christ. That God be exalted in all things.

PoliticsRe: Ubah Tackles Obi Over Car Gifts To Traditional Rulers by iphy42: 8:41pm On Jun 20, 2013
Sealeddeal: Giving cars to traditional rulers is not a bad thing but politicizing it is the worst thing that any government will do. Gov Obi should have given these gifts to traditional rulers owing to their various assistance to the government in area of security and enthronement of peace in anambra state. But for Gov Obi to wait until the last days of his office, especially now that he has shown his effort in making his boy a governor, shows that he is ready to use traditional rulers to his political advantage and such will not augur well for anambra state as anambra state will be made to return
to the dark days of god-fatherism and imposition and that necessitates Ifeanyi Ubah's harsh response to such 'greek gift'.
Ifeanyi Ubah has alot in stock for anambra state. His quest for Anambra govt seat is not hinged on personal interest but for the interest of Anambra state. I have said it severally that dyed-in-the wool politicians should not be allowed to lead anambra state again.Anambra will be led by billionaires who are already satisfied with cash and will have no reason to embezzle the meagre
allocation of anambra state. Anambrarians are solidly behind Dr Ifeanyi Ubah. For those that are still dreaming of Ngige, their dream is alive but its only when you visit anambra state now that you will understand that Ifeanyi Ubah has achieved a great in-road into people's heart.
Another sycophant on the loose. Btw on what authority do you speak for Anambra people? Why not speak for yourself? Do You think we are still in the era of blind followership?
PoliticsRe: FG Sends Food To Troops In Mali, PT Reporter Threatened With Arrest by iphy42: 4:59pm On Jun 20, 2013
successking: Premium times should be made to tell us the source of its reports. Or does it take pleasure in reporting slanderous news about Nigeria?
It is very unprofessional to reveal their source except maybe in a law court. Who would give inside information if he'll be named? The FG and defense ministry should sue them if it is indeed a slander then Premium times would their report.
PoliticsRe: FG Sends Food To Troops In Mali, PT Reporter Threatened With Arrest by iphy42: 4:43pm On Jun 20, 2013
Ikengawo: Boko Haram that has been on the run and silent all summer? Do you want to compare now to when Boko Haram was running rampant and Tinubu was asking the federal government to pay them in the form of Amnesty because Buhari's coffers were running dry?

There was an attack recently. Until this week there was no attack for nearly two months outside of Boko Haram
playing the defensive against Nigeria's army! We even have a situation where Boko Haram is so weakened that
local vigilantes are

Can you compare this to when the NE, Kano and Abuja were boiling over?
GEJ is working
the Nigerian Armed Forces are working
The Sleeping Giant of Africa has awoken!
I am not trying to honour or vilify anybody. All I am saying is that if Boko haram could strike in the middle of an SOE when soldiers are still around, what will happen after they are gone. Btw, I thought the military claimed to have flushed out the Boko militants.
PoliticsRe: FG Sends Food To Troops In Mali, PT Reporter Threatened With Arrest by iphy42: 4:26pm On Jun 20, 2013
Ikengawo: Premium times is an agency of lies, the troops are feed and have money.
GEJ is destroying terrorism in west africa as a whole.
Boko Haram is silent
the Malian rebels with the help of our allies are silent
and our soldiers are out here risking their lives for the bastards at Premium times to be calling the hungry beggars. What a sickening gossip blog
So all these boko haram attacks in recent times even after the SOE have eluded you? Too bad

Afam4evaIsASlut: GEJ is in control of inflation?

shocked
What will they not say to earn their pay check. GEJ wasn't even mentioned in the write up, yet he rose in robotic defense.
PoliticsRe: Has Inflation Really Dropped In Nigeria by iphy42(op):
Ibime: "Inflation slowed" is a more appropriate term to use so ignoramuses can understand what the minister is saying.

A basket of goods and services starting at N100 would ordinarily rise to N112 over the year based on last year's rates, but it only rose to N110 this year, therefore inflation has dropped from 12 to 10 percent.
Maybe inflation slowed in your books but not in Nigeria. The wanted to get the single digit and NOI got it by
force. No need for name calling but try to call a spade a
spade iie if you can see it

BTW, your mathematics is highly flawed undecided
PoliticsRe: Has Inflation Really Dropped In Nigeria by iphy42(op): 2:21pm On Jun 06, 2013
Most people are talking about garri. What about rice, corn, beans, salt, provisions and cosmetics. Corn used to sell for N280 for a paint for a long time, if it is scarce, it does not not exceed N350. This year as in now corn is over N400. Garri that is just coming down have not sold for above N500 in previous years to the best of my knowledge. I feel NOI is lying. Go do some market research to understand me well.

seeing that there's two of them, they were prolly drug dealers.

Yes, he might have been set up by his wife that knows his shady business. When relationship grows suffer, one person will suffer. However, my point is that their crimes should still be punished.
Have you not heard of police aiding in set up. You can't be so sure he is guilty. The wife who is termed "controversial" should also be arrested, don't you think so?
PoliticsHas Inflation Really Dropped In Nigeria by iphy42(op): 12:39am On Jun 06, 2013
I listened with rapt attention to the minister of finance speaking on the performance of the present administration and she said that inflation had dropped from 12 percent to 10 percent. I was surprised. Is it that I don't know what inflation is or what? Cos as far as I know the prices of most commodities have risen drastically, ranging from provisions, cosmetics, building materials, food stuffs, even the almighty subsidized kerosene sells for between N120 & N130 instead of N50. What's your take on take on this my people. Correct me if I'm wrong.
