Christians on this thread are so pessimistic of good friendship between muslims and their brethren in faith. Why must christians be so 'hateful' of Islam. It beats my imagination. I grew up under a christian mother and a muslim father who have been married for more than 60 years and are both still alive. I think its the mindset that matters. If its not right, even christians from one denomination to another will not make good friends.

Nuru, i know your parents are both from the south that was why that marriage is still standing till today. Had it been your mum was from the north, say kano or jigawa, walahi talahi, i repeat, walahi talahi your mama for turn to muslim else she no go see chance marry your papa. Yes muslim men marry christiam women from the south and allow the women to still keep their faith, but in the north a christian lady that wants to marry any hausa man must turn to muslim 1st before the wedding will even take place. I started with QBASIC first, then FORTRAN and PASCAL ( i also did COBOL in school too) before i finally moved to OOP using Visual BASIC. Try and learn at least one procedural language first before moving ahead to do Object-Oriented programming; it will really help you.
