Because it is the smart way to remain in business. |
christistruth01:Mt. manger. How do you share 1 million Naira to 1 million people and they all end up rich? |
Forkthiefnubu:You just replied a bot. |
Unethical proposal. |
christistruth01:By your logic one million people sharing 1 million Naira are as rich as one hundred people sharing 1 million Naira. Yes, politicians emoluments should be cut down and that is because the country is poor not rich. |
Reverse psychology. Unfortunately for him, most Biden voters who Putin is trying to manipulate do not worship strong men, so, they will just take his comments as a joke. |
blowjohn:So, you read a book and therefore it must be true? Okay, what is juju and is it limited to winning football matches? |
PureFace1:It is the audacity of confidently spreading irrational thoughts for me. These people pretend to know so much about everything yet actually knows nothing. |
So what if he wears charm? Will Sani had complained if he had tied an arabic script or a bible verse to his body. Nonsense. |
Okay. |
udemzyudex:We know that ICC members are all cowards who fear Putin. But Putin is a god who doesn't fear anybody, so we expect Putin to do what ICC members dare not do. |
ValarDoharis:Better wake up from your dream. |
KnowAll:Why don't you tell us their net worth? |
KnowAll:I wanted to take you serious until I saw the bold. |
Because of political calculations, lack of home support, and the futility of such fight. Just check the 1999 presidential election results to clear your doubt. BTW, Sharia law as whole isn't secession unless declared otherwise by a competent court. You can declare victory after winning a war with an opponent, at what point will he declare victory against Sharia? |
For Obi to be president he must do exactly that and he will finish his tenure without any achievement and that's exactly what happened to Obasanjo andThe above shows shows you suffer from extreme ignorance. I suppose by achievement, you mean borrowing recklessly and commissioning useless projects which are nothing but a drain on the country's economy. I hope you are not one of those crying about inflation because it is the result of your shiny "achievements". By your myopic logic, Buhari is the best president we ever had. So a man who grew the economy by more 600%, cleared all debts he met and also grew the forex reserve astronomically has no achievement. Stay away from topics you don't understand. at some point people started saying that he's not a Yoruba manWho are those people? |

![]() Putin shouldn't fall his supporters hand, He should follow his words with action. Since it is now a crime for a sovereign country to destroy a statue within its own borders. Putin should invade Estonia and Lithuania to enforce the arrest warrant. |
This childish question of "what did you do with your allocation" has been overused. If the FG believes that allocations are being mismanaged, all it need do is to investigate the state's budget and put forward its findings. We want to see such reports not press release. It is even more silly to ask such in the current dispensation. Naira was devalued by more than 100% while the state's allocation was increased by about 30%. How effective was such an allocation increase? This is not a defense of the governors, even if we agree that the governors are all thieves. It is not the job of a thief to expose itself. The accuser should shoulder such responsibility and expose the thief. The FG should do its job and investigate alleged thieves, it is not too much to ask for. |
This is the classic Nigerian way of shifting blame to outsiders. There is no romance between IMF and Nigeria, it is just business. Nigeria thinks it needs money and IMF as a bank is one of the options available. And like all banks they have certain set of conditions before they give out loans. It is not as if IMF is begging countries to take loans, it is the countries in economic woes who lobbies and begs to be bailed out. I don't think it make sense to blame a bank for asking a bankrupt potential debtor to fulfil certain conditions and collateral requirements. There is one way to avoid IMF and others like it. Stop begging for loans! |

So, an American private citizen made a statement and it becomes a news item? |
Did you take your local rice to market and you couldn't sell it? If yes, state your location and you will be swamped with buyers. |
Nonsense. The minimum should have been tertiary educational and not strictly varsity degree. |
leanonme82:First, he didn't accuse "Northerners", that's a misleading grouping, his grouse was with the the forest Fulanis. What's so special about Fulanis that they can't be accused of a crime they commit? What's the business of Igboho with Fulanis killing Fulanis in Zamfara or Sokoto? Do you mean nobody should complain because Fulani's are also victims? If the children of your neighbour regularly beat up their parents will you justify their actions or look the other way if they beat your own parents just because their parents are also victims? |

How does this counter my point? So, nobody got offician dollars except Dangote? |
o123456789:I don't even know where to start with you. You want Tinubu to stay quiet so that the military can remove him too? ECOWAS decision effectively destroys any hope of a military takeover in the region in the nearest future. The foolish Niger coupiest's think they will get a red carpet but got smackdown instead. It is normal that the idiots will be releasing the same memo every three months to flex their muscle. Nothing show strength that an adult Nigeria ignoring a child Niger that is throwing tantrums. It should be obvious to anybody that throwing tantrums is not strength. The most shameful of all is that ECOWAS is still begging Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso to return back as ECOWAS members.I think I missed the news where ECOWAS lifted the suspension on those 3 countries? Can you post the link? Never mind, that will be asking for too much. |
Madeu:What do you have to be exploited? Chinese "encroachment" in Nigeria is the least of UK's worry. |

NzogbuNzogbu:The 95% of hamas eliminitated are social media Hamas. Hamas span the entire population from young boys to adults from jobless to to professionals like doctors and engineers. BTW, when did you think Israel will eliminate 96%, I have been seeing the 95% for some weeks now. Netanyahu does not want the PA to take over Gaza. In fact, it is one of the reasons Biden is hammering him publicly. PA taking over Gaza would be a huge step towards the 2 state solution as the Hamas which is designated as a terrorist group can no longer be used as an excuse for why the territory can't be granted a true independence. It also means that the UN or some international force will be deployed to protect or support the PA because Hamas will never give up easily not with support from Iran. It seems you don't even understand what you are defending. Netanyahu's party does not want an independent Gaza/Palestine and would not agree to PA taking over without being threatened into submission. Palestines would spend the next 10 years thinking of building gaza, they would now learn they had so much than loosing it again in warYes, we have been there before. City devastation and then rebuilding. Nothing new. People who failed in their analysis that hamas would defeat Israel in its tunnel etc shouldn't be talking of the situation they don't knowSuch people are either delusional or has mental problem. Did you think the Taliban defeated the US? Did hamas now get the international support after turning gaza to ruins and eliminating its rule in Gaza for israel controlThe US ruled Afghanistan for 2 decades. But it still pack its load despite relegating the Taliban into the shadows. That's because the Taliban is heavily embedded into the populace, enjoys local support and does not wear uniform. See some pattern? It is not the international support for Gaza that matters, it is the potential fickleness of US/Europe for Israel activities outside of its own border. If Israel was being backed by unmovable countries like Russia or China, then Netanyahu's job would have been a lot easier. What matters is not what is happening now but what could happen in the next 5, 10 years. No, Hamas cannot be eliminated destroyed. There are hundreds of thousands of them. At best, you send them into the shadows from where they strike at their convenience. |
Hamas knew exactly what it was doing when it attacked in October. It counts on the backlash to curry international support. Unfortunately for Netanyahoo, he seems to be aloof. It is impossible to eradicate Hamas. Contrary to claims in some quarters, Hamas is the legitimate government in Gaza with massive support from the populace. You will have to kill majority of the populace to eliminate Hamas. The only way forward is the 2 state solution. |
4Play:Your argument is essentially that anybody or people could be recruited or appointed to work in CBN as long as you have high oil price and the results will be the same. Increase oil price is useless if you are spendthrift. The excess reserve could have been totally spent on infrastructures so the president can commission liability projects and pat himself on the back. Oil prices were lower during OBJ's era than now but that is irrelevant. What matters is that they were much higher, and rapidly increasing, compared to the preceding 2 decades. That's part of why things felt better for Nigerians. The bold is completely false. I supposed you just wrote based on assumption. You don't have to take my word for it, go ahead and check the prices of oil between 1999 and 2007, get their average and compare with the 2 decades you referred to. |
