Stop posting this fake news everywhere. This is the third time you will post this. |
mariahAngel:What an irresponsible statement. Did the politicians also help you type this message? SMH |
Emma513:Because Buhari is not a "master". Any keen observer will realise that all Buhari's appointees act with impunity and speak in his name in a conflicting manner. The only conclusion is that Buhari is not in charge but an easily manipulated figurehead. |
mightyhaze:Try to use your brain for once. Not everybody who disagrees with you is a sycophantic pleb who treat certain politicians like a god. |
Emma513: TheOgaBoss:Imbe ciles. I am not one of you dumb goons who defend politicians whoever they are. I either agree with a policy or disagree with it. No exceptions. |
MasterJayJay:I don't see anyone praising Buhari here. But I see some greater fools blaming Buhari who does not know his right from left and is not aware of his surroundings for a monetary policy fiasco. |
sonature1:Lekki seaport is a PPP enterprise with Lagos state government having some stake. What you should do is call on your governor and not FG. |
Why lying brazenly just to remain in the news. The man you are accusing is alive and can speak for himself. SMH. |
NaijaCowFarm:Why are you this bitter? Which climes are celebrating scientific breakthroughs? I supposed you have never left your village that is why you assume scientist outside of Nigeria some super celebrities and demigods. Sorry to disappoint you. "Frivolities" celebrities dominate every media space in the countries you imagined to be perfect. |
Biodun556:There is nothing outside the box about buying arms from Russia, even ordinary African warlord does it. But when you need an advantage in the battlefield, real arms are not sweets that you picked on shelves on demand. They take time. In fact, most of weapons and equipment delivered at the beginning of Buhari's administration were ordered by GEJ despite what Lai Muhammed claimed. BTW, Buhari didn't have Obama gunning for his head neither did he have a desperate gang of traitors looking to sabotage the military. I mean the west who many of you are now campaigning against treated Buhari like some sort of royalty at the beginning of his administration having bought into his "integrity" lies. Again, you should stop mentioning European countries as alternatives to sourcing for serious gadgets, when the US bark, they back down. Either you exhibit bravery by suggesting Russia or you stick to the second rate Pakistan and Turkey. |
DMerciful:There are no conflicting court orders. Only one. The kangaroo judgment of another high court cannot vacate the judgement of the first hight court. Only a higher court can say otherwise. |
Biodun556:Since when did arm embargo become a problem? Aren't you one of those who celebrated the arms embargo? I mean all your favourite APC governors and admins personally went to the US to meet with Jonh Kerry. They requested that the embargo should be further tightened against Nigeria just because they wanted to win an election. They claimed the "Jonathanian army" is deliberately killing civilians. When the desperate GEJ went for South Africa black market deal. South Africa seized Nigerian bought weapon on the instructions of the US via intelligence leakage from the same goon who now claim to be patriot. You guys celebrated the seizure and labelled Oritsejafor a gun runner for lending his jet for the purchase. I see that you didn't list Russia as an alternative as you don't want to put your principal in serious problem. FYI, only Turkey and Pakistan are partially free of US influence. And Nigeria have been buying from Pakistan while Turkey is not a serious jet supplier. As for the other countries, just hope another foolish set of people don't start writing treasonous letters for political gain. All the US need to do to enforce another embargo is to raise another set of human rights allegations and those countries will fall in line. |
Fake story. It is not only 6 years but 60 years. |
Shettima is wrong. We have all agreed that the only thing that matters is competence. |
WriteerNig:I never knew Russia was black. What a delusional mind. |
Coolgent:But they have the rights to prosecute blasphemers? As one of the kid roaming this forum, I will forgive your ignorance. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-14858441 |
Foolish man. How far has Sharia been able to deal with banditry, kidnapping and various financial crimes perpetrated in the so-called Sharia states? |
Mrtaye:NBC is in charge of media and broadcast stations. I don't understand where "people" comes in. You haven't been gagged have you? |
Fake news. |
Racoon:You suggestion is so smart! Of course, they should sue erring stations to court for a case and appeals that could take more than a year. While the suit is ongoing the station is free to do whatever it wants as the matter is already in court. After the case has been settled, the station can reoffend multiple times again knowing that the NBC is toothless and can't do anything until another year round of legal battles. I suggest you learn more about the need for and the operations of a regulatory body. |
BluntCrazeMan:Your comment is irrelevant to the topic. The question is does EFCC has the right to investigate government accounts and the answer is yes. |
fergie001:Now you are getting angry. the unemotional one. I see you have stopped using your poorly crafted US example and have generalised to the nebulous "world". Now let me borrow from your playbook. Where in the democratic world does the president handpick senate and house leaders? Where in the democratic world do house leadership hopefuls run around the president like house boys looking for stipends? |
Ihateheadslamer:How does a private citizen resigning from his post has anything to do with a Nigerian politician? |
If this isn't fake news, Elon can only step down because Twitter is losing money and not due to some childish votes. |
Nazgul:You have no idea how the village network operate. |
I can't see any hit back in SA's comment. The arm shipment is likely to have been a black market deal unsanctioned by the SA government since Ramaphosa himself appeared surprised at the allegation. SA will be foolish to take on the US by arming Russia when China with far bigger economy and military have refused to arm Russia for strategic reasons. |
fergie001:I don't know why you guys can't argue without throwing the world "emotional" around as if it makes your argument superior. Just because someone argues against you does not make them emotional unless that is the crux of their argument. Now back to your response. Rather than bring examples of US presidents installing stooges as speaker and senate leader. You actually brought a counter example. Are you saying that the action of some republican members of the house who work against Mccarthy the same thing as a president installing his favorite speaker? Isn't that an example of how it should be, that the house sort themselves out as opposed to manipulative external influence? Even Trump as disruptive as he his, did not try to install an acolyte as either speaker or senate leader. The obvious candidates emerged as expected. BTW, rooting for a candidate does not constitute imposition. Coming to our current example. Akpabio would never win the SP seat based on his own recognition without Tinubu's intervention no matter how much he is prepared to spend. Akpabio will be 100% loyal stooge because he knows who made him. |
Femmyfamous4u:In order word, you want to become another parasitic entity eating into our meagre resources. Are you sure you even know the difference between the private sector and the government? |
fergie001:The second part of your statement is false. No advanced democracy would you find a president enforcing a speaker or senate candidate. It is absurd to say the least. In fact in the US you mentioned, the speaker and senate leader is already known before the presidential primary is conducted based on simple majority projections and past senior positions. |
The compensation which includes houses in Lagos and Abuja in choice areas and six cars every three yearsWhat other kind of job offers such retirement package for a 4 to 8 year stint? Greedy criminals. |
gidgiddy:Those are kangaroo judgement of lower courts. Wake me up when the highest court agrees with such verdict. There is absolutely no part of Nigerian law that make it illegal to transport criminal suspect from foreign countries however the government sees fit. We are even talking about a fugitive who jumped bail here and not some first time offender. The fact that Malami is incompetent doesn't make Kanu's case weak. I just hope there is a political solution because any decent AGF will get him locked up for a long time even without touching the main charges. |
