SalamRushdie: Not the best place at all, that refinery is designed to fail , it's not close to any oil field , it's too close to a massive urban centre Fail? Please, tell me how close are Indian and China to Africa where they source crude oil for their refineries? You obviously know nothing about how refineries operate. BTW, refineries towns always end up becoming a major urban centre even if starts as a jungle. |

kingthreat: Was just wondering what happens to the wealth of Aliko Dangote when he dies. Would it be inherited by his children, which is most unlikely because his only biological children are his daughters. Will it be inherited by his extended family? Or will the Nigerian government take it over as his companies get special treatment from the FG? What's the nonsese in bold? Since when did it become illegal for daughters to inherit their father's wealth? |

Politics › Re: The Supreme Court Hearing/judgement In The Case Of Shettima’s Double Nomination by ivolt: 12:41am On May 23, 2023 |
press9jatv: Yes, we in PDP want Supreme Court on account of double nomination of Shettima by APC to INEC as Senatorial Candidate of APC in Borno State and at same time a Vice Presidential Candidate of APC to void the joint ticket of Tinubu-Shettima and declear all the votes credited to APC and Tinubu in the last Presidential Election as invalid and a wastage.
Once Supreme Court sees merit in our case, 2019 Bayelsa State scenario will repeat itself once again ni yen. 2019 can't repeat itself because neither PDP nor LP meet the constitutional requirement of being declared a winner. If the supreme court sees merit in the case, they will reserve judgment in order for the tribunal to deal with the issue and to avoid constitutional crisis. If there is no merit in the case, it will be dismissed outrightly. |
Politics › Re: Should Dangote Venture Into Electricity? by ivolt: 5:55pm On May 22, 2023 |
He won't. No smart businessman will venture into power generation in Nigeria when distribution companies are rife with inefficiencies, corruption and debt. Currently, all Discos are running at a loss and being spoon-fed by the government.
There must be serious reform to attract real investment in the power sector. |

Amosun is a very greedy man. He was said to have demanded heavy bribe and compensation before he would approve the refinery siting at Olokola. But Dangote being a smart man knew that if he was being extorted before the project even begins, the refinery will have serious extortion problem after completion. |

Those are stupid men's thought. Low level career women are the easiest to get. Both the boss and the colleagues will be pressuring and competing for them. But for the higher rank ones, fear won't let colleagues make a move and the bosses will also be super careful around them for fear of consequences. If this story is true, the woman is naturally promiscuous, it has nothing to do with her office portfolio. |

wwwkaycom: Actually, Supporting Atiku is his best bet, they would have floored Asiwaju hands down and immediately after Atiku, power would automatically shift to the Southeast and Obi would be the most prominent igbo politician by then. Actually, supporting Atiku would have been a foolish move. If Atiku had won the election, APC will present a strong northerner against any candidate from SE and they will win. PDP will do the same and it goes on indefinitely with power remaining in the north. In fact, no major political party will ever field a southerner again for fear of losing to a northerner if Atiku had won. |

Rostikol: You were ABUSED.
Parents in Sweden don't beat their kids.
Swedes today are as about as incorruptible and responsible as it is possible to be.
How come they didn't need to be beaten up by their parents to be that way? When you started your post, I thought maybe this one will be different. But here you are displaying your inbred slavishness by bringing up Sweden. You probably also believe that the white man teach you how to speak. Corporal punishment is universal and natural among humans, that is why laws are needed to combat it. It has nothing to do with religion. Now to the issue of Swedes, the Swedes of today are the product of yesterday. At no time did the Swede sat down and say let us stop beating our kids so they can be incorruptible. Nope. Swedes beat kids when other Europeans did and stopped when their neighbours did. It was even outlawed until 1979. Are you saying the Swedes became "incorruptible" by then? BTW, your perfect Sweden is the rape capital of Europe, yes, you read that right. Maybe it due to lack of beating? The vices and crimes in a society are a product of income and poverty. Beating or lack of it is irrelevant. You are confused about cause and effect. You need to review whatever is giving you such a ludicrous idea. |

A mole is always a dangerous thing. Can you list the alleged sabotage? Abure who is under criminal investigation is fooling you effortlessly. Every accusation and the Apapa's alleged plans have all come from either Abure or his spokesperson. How can Abure and Onanuga appoint themselves as the spokesperson of their opponents and you believe them? I have searched everywhere and I have not seen where this man actually promised to sabotage LP's petition. |

thesilentman: Because we live in proximity-same town, she wouldn't quit checking up on her daughter virtually every day or at least every other day.
I felt a deep intrusion on my privacy so yesterday I summoned the gut and asked her if she didn't have a house. Before she could reply, I told her, 'learn to stay where you belong! I did not marry daughter and mother!` She has since disappeared into thin air.
This evening am thinking whether i bleeped up or not. You are engaging in silly quarrel and at the same time applauding yourself. Unless your mother-in-law is the type with no self-respect or their culture permits such insolence. you have permanently damaged the relationship between you and your in-laws, not only your mother-in-law. She will tell her other children and also the husband and they will all get the message that your house is a no go area. Now, you have two problems. First, if anyone from your family side comes for a visit no matter how brief, they will get a cold subtle treatment from your wife. Secondly, if there is any issue in the future that requires the cooperation of your in-laws, they won't take you seriously and neither will you feel comfortable in their midst. Some fights are not just worth it. |

Is Joe Biden the most qualified Candidate in the democrats party? I can assure you, Osinbajo would have been beaten balablue by Atiku before 2pm. Primary elections are different from general elections they do not determine the outcome of general elections. I think you missed my point, nowhere in my post did I mention qualification because it is irrelevant in this context. We are discussing who can win elections. |

Kingsley123456: I will go straight to the point..... I've not dated a faithful lady since I started dating and I've dated up to 6 different ladies aside from Shop and clean mouth). My girlfriend which I thought I will at least manage to settle down with was cooking for me 2days ago and I took her phone went straight to WhatsApp and telegram to see chats. One was wooing her and she's responding normally, no iota of restrain in the chats and another was inviting her over and she said, sure, she will come.
I dropped the phone immediately , I was still thinking of where to start with her when I received a call from work and I had to leave, I message her while I was at work and asked her while she's doing all these to me, as usual she claimed they are platonic friends and nothing more.
I blocked her immediately she mention there is nothing wrong in visiting Platonic friends in open places and even at home....
This is isn't the type of woman i want.
That wasn't her first time but she always accuse me of not wanting her to have good male friends.
I'm tired of things like these, I will be 35 by September.
Initially I thought I'm getting older and I should settle down, but, will I ever meet a Woman of my choice?? Someone I can at least trust?? someone who won't be going round visiting Platonic friends, ano wan loseguard, I need a woman in my life but I think I'm giving up......
I don't want to die young... Lastly Nairalanders
Do I have to look for another relationship again or Take her back and give her last chance?? Or, concentrate on money making for another 5yr? And forget about getting married, Pls advice. In this life, if you are not willing to compromise, you will face a lot of avoidable problems. The type of women who flirts around have unique personalities and usually can't hide it for long. But because you are unwilling to face the issue at the beginning of your relationship, you postponed the evil days. Never invest your time in people who believe they have nothing to lose even if their beliefs are wrong. You are nothing but expendable to them. |

LeoDeKing: Kicks of a dying dog.
Atiku would have defeated Osinbajo before noon, not even you.
This is the reason other parties worked tirelessly behind the scene to see Osinbajo's emergence as apc flagbearer.
Besides, apc never advised the labourers party to pick a candidate it is comfortable with, that's none of its business. You guys should stop repeating these lies. Atiku cannot defeat Osinbajo. Tinubu is the most unmarketable candidate a leading party has ever fielded. There is no state that Tinubu won that Osinbajo would have lost. In fact, he would have picked up many that Tinubu lost such as Osun and Lagos with wide margins. And before you talk about the North, APC governors and not Tinubu got those votes. The same northern APC governors would have delivered for Osinbajo too. Without them, Atiku would have crushed him. If you don't agree, kindly list the states that Tinubu won that Osinbajo would lose. I am waiting. |
