I never had in mind to start this thread. I was opening a thread for our friend "Perx" and mistakenly posted his thread twice and in order to correct that and remove one of the threads out of the section. I decided to turn one into another thread----this is what gave rise to this thread. The Xmas gift (we were all given by a young man who weighed down by frustrations killed himself) did not give us the joy a gift was supposed to bring instead it had us feeling sad. It was a touching and sad occurrence that when viewed from different angles leaves one with great food for thought. I was very concerned about the fact that this young man concluded that "everything he sets his hands on fails" which is seriously a very negative way of thinking. I truly feel his frustrations, he must have gone through many difficulties that hurt him deeply but one thing we must never do is declare or profess negativity over our life like that. I have come across a colleague at the work place that was using that line of "Everything he sets his hands on fails" and because that did not sound right in my ear tried my best to dissuade him from such extreme negativity. This very person still went running to a prayer house to seek solution and matters were worsened because he was further confused with a declaration by the pastor lady minister that his mother wants to kill him which he also swallowed and believed thus shackling himself more in a web of negativity. I agree that we should affirm and think positively at all times even when we can't see positives around us. Our words affect our lives a great deal. A school mate of mine was involved in an accident so fatal and the injury she sustained so serious that she was told that she may never walk again. This lady refused to believe that negative statement and fought hard months after months of being bedridden, put her heart into the therapy programme of gaining movement and slowly and surprisingly started moving from baby steps to full movement and today walks without aid. Do you have instances where positive thinking uplifted persons and brought positive things into their lives? You can share with us. Let us celebrate positivity and the power of positive thinking. |
His facebook page has comments that showed that he did this, one of his friends that he sent last greetings to by name Nehi made a comment there asking why nobody told him about that post, that he would have called on his family to come and take him to be with them. I suspect he was spending Xmas alone and got enveloped with loneliness coupled with his depressed state of mind. I noticed that he allowed a negative lie into his lines of thoughts----one should not confess negatively like believing and confessing the way he did that "he fails in everything he sets his hands on". It is a very negative thinking and when you allow such thoughts, it keeps proving itself in your life. I have met somebody that confesses that too and even went visiting a prayer house that told him that his mother wants to kill him. I did my best to dissuade that person from living in negativity. This is sad sad saddening, we don't know him yet one can't help feeling sad the way this played out. Let us be positive minded and keep sharing love to people we meet in the struggle to survive. |
I wonder how whoever it is at the school that frustrated this young man and held on to his result will feel on hearing this. I don't understand that part about holding down the poor boy's result. How I wish he has held on and exercised patience, things can still turn around even through ordinary buying and selling not necessary using his certificate. The struggle to survive is a very hard one people and we should continue to share love around to the people we meet as we all struggle on. |
Perx you can go to www.blogger.com Click on "Get started" and you can begin In your blog you may need pictures showing your legs or other pictures that can move people into helping out. I was wondering whether some companies offer such help but I am not sure-----did you approach such big companies like MTN and some oil companies that easily donate to charity? I was also thinking of this-----opening a thread inviting nairalanders (that reside in the United States or UK or any other country your naija doctors are referring you to) to help you with charity organisations that help out people with health issues. I was racking my brain thinking of any but have non in mind. You must never think of harming yourself sweetheart, conditions change in life. Tomorrow, days and years to come may bring you such recovery and joy that when you look back to now, you can't help but bless God. |
@Perx Your poems and songs are very touching, I can sense your love for life and the desire to break away from the circumstance. I am almost wishing that I have the power to make it all go away. I feel you dearie. Lots of hugs to you okay. How about the blog? I want to share this song below that I love very much with you. Be strong dearie. [flash=425,344] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lc9kjeAZWbU?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315"[/flash] |
I love this couple and their traditional concepts,-------Oh my God nobody has rocked our culture and tradition like Muma Gee. She even have some traditional beaded stuffs as her wedding dress accessories. She rocked a million times and I am mighty happy for her. Her husband rocked the River state traditional men's wear in their traditional wedding. I am loving them and their way. I am sure if they are in limousine and stuff nobody will be talking down their poor horse abeg make una leave them o, make them enjoy their life the way they want it. Be happy for them people. I LOVE IT!!! |
I LOVE IT!!!!!! I like to see my people having fun and being happy. I am tripping for some of the costumes that has a lot of creativity put into them. Those men with brown wooly cap are looking great and very neat in that their sweet traditional attire. It's sweet to see our traditional mas and dance portrayed in a sophisticated way with some swagz to it. Isn't that what I was talking about in that Phortharcourt Carnival thread? It's same old African masquarade-ing and dancing that they borrowed from us Africans. Carnival indeed is an African thing! millionbuc:What has Rick Ross got to do with Naija Carnival? I'm his fan but Carnival is a celebration of the culture of the people. It is our own musicians that we should celebrate and have them performing and competing in carnivals not Boss man Ricky! |
The list of orphans of this "war" has began, this is bad. God please deliver us from this problem, give us a quiet peaceful solution to this problem. |
Okay people come as una dey fight over which God Naija belongs to, we come find special name for the god wey naija belong wey all of una go dey happy with and we can have peace. Edo - Osanobua Efik - Abasi Ijaw - Tamuno Yoruba - Olorun Igbo - Chukwu Hausa - Allah This is how the name OSABATOLOCHA was derived. (abeg laugh) So from today make everybody sabi say Nigeria belongs to Osabatolocha ![]() Make una no vex abeg, on a serious note if every part of Nigeria have a name they call God then nobody is wrong to say that a part of Nigeria belongs to their God. My people we have to find a special tactics with which to follow this Boko boyz, we can't begin to kill ourselves to retaliate we are not vampires. If it makes them happy to say that Nigeria belongs to their God, we can agree and keep strategizing. They can only realize that Nigeria truly belongs to them when they find themselves alone and answering the name while we are happier answering another country name. Abi? Abeg abeg, make una stop this "Nigeria belongs to which God?" fight, such religious madness makes people like me want to stop going to church and become religionless. Our forefathers were at peace without all these borrowed stuffs people are fighting about here. Why do we like to borrow and copy too much. Them Boko Boyz don go borrow violence from Iraq and Afghanistan come join too, una no dey tire? |
@poster I was just logging off from your thread and the title of your thread caught my attention again. You titled it, "He Does Not Want To Make Love Anymore, He Prefers His Girlfriends" And that touched my heart because it painted a picture of my fellow lady crouching somewhere and unhappily telling us------- " He does not love me anymore, he loves other women". If i find my fellow lady in that position, I will feel for her but I will not tell her to grovel for a man that does not love her anymore. Lots of hugs to you. Idowuogbo:Idowu mehn, Nne don't be hard on the woman now ah-ah-ah wetin? You wan make me and you put leg for one trouser before our comedy collabo go even begin sef? Hahahahaha-----I can't stop laughing Idowu. Stand-up Comedy Collabo that had me giggling endlessly.Nne you say make we go fight the Boko boyz? We fit handle them so?, (Ivy fearfully looks behind and around her and begin use style sef they distance herself from the road that leads to the north).Sh-o-o Omo make we go enjoy some little Isi Ewu first, no be xmas we dey-----we go discuss the strategy wey we go use finish Boko Boyz hands down over our plate of isi ewu. Oh! did you say that you are on fire?----na that one go be our number one strategy now. I go just throw you inside the Boko boiz headquarters and story go finish, your fire go burn them finish and Naija go rest but haba I no wan lose my Idowu now-----how we go do this thing biko? (Ivy scratches her head in confusion) Abeg where i dey shele for nairaland. Hanlele make we go jam the place kia kia (laughing) Oh my God Idowu has killed me, you are making a great comedian out of me too. Nne we mustn't laugh too much here, make we waka joo. |
agiboma:Why is he being too damn selfish? I so wish that there is something that you can do that can sober him up and bring him home to you and both of you will be there for each other in oneness. Pray, what do we do to some of these men that allows their joystick and testosterone run away with their integrity? Can it be that he likes flashy looking women or something and hot looking women attracts him easily, try looking hot for him too, if you are not doing that already. He is disrespecting you too much and it's partly because you are tolerating it-------do you let him know how disgusted you find it all? Let him know that it is the same way that he can't bear to have another touch you that he is driving you crazy being with other people. This is why you are better off without the heartbreak and jealousy that can make you do stuffs against him or against yourself. Don't listen to whoever told you that Nigerian men must have mistresses too, it's only a man with no integrity, respect and love for his wife that goes awhoring. If he believes in living a promiscuous polygamous life, let him know that you didn't plan to handle all that in marriage. You need your sanity dearie. Do try and and find a way to stay happy and take care of yourself and your child. Is it not better that you sort out all these first and know whether you are still being with him (if he is ready to get off other women & really be in the marriage) or whether you are leaving him and his LovePeddler-dom before even having another child with him? It will complicate things further if you become pregnant and perhaps 3 months into it decides that "enough is enough". |
Glad that she survived the jump. Glory be to God. Some days ago some people jumped from a burning building and jumped into their death, the pregnant woman among them also lost her baby, still hospitalized. |
Idowuogbo:@Idowuogbo Hahaha sweetie only you can bring out lots of laughter out of one without trying hard and don't I enjoy a good laughter? Abeg laughGirl I get one sweet Tuface joke for you. I go jam you later for another thread gist you the joke or i fit mail you, make we leave Sissy Agiboma thread for her Ojare. |
agiboma:@Poster I feel for your having lacked a father figure in your life and wishing for a husband that will be a good father figure for your kids. You are doing your possible best to look the other way and tolerate all that rash infidelity so as to stay with him and you are forgetting that he may up and leave too. What happens when he finally chooses his other women over you and leaves you?----so you see however hard you stick to him you may still end up without him. Know that so that should your marital world that your are working hard to hold together crumbles one day (we don't wish it to), you will not find it unbearable. Gosh! what manner of a man leaves his sick child in a hospital on Xmas Eve to go desecrate his marital bed with another woman? He is very irresponsible, selfish and I am wondering whether he loves you at all. Girl you are never gonna leave that man, you know it and we know it too. The words of your mouth shows that you want to live with that greatest level of infidelity. I will give you a pat on the back though for looking for a non-confrontational/non-forceful solution to the problem, there are just some problems we encounter in life and wish that it can be quietly solved without the use of force and rack the brain to find a way through it to no avail. Many a woman on encountering infidelity chooses to either leave the marriage or remain there even Hilary Clinton stayed put dear but do weigh your pros and cons because staying in such a marriage can cost you a lot including your self worth and even the same things you fear most. The jealousy that rears its ugly head from infidelity has made women kill their husband, kill themselves or commit something out of rage that had them wasting away in prisons. The voice of reasons here that were telling you that you are better off without him are telling you the truth because you can still meet another man that can be a good father to your kids, act more responsibly and treat you right. You can find everything you want in another man without being a single mother but the hard place you are in now you still have a good chance of being a single mother the moment he ups and leaves however tight you've been holding on. You actually did not ask that we advise you on what to do concerning your marriage as it is clear to us that you intend to stay it out. We were only trying to point out stuffs to you. Your main question is how to get your man interested in you again and maintain intimate relationship with him that can also lead to you having another child! The question is a hard one girl, we all have good lyrics about how you can stir it all up but how do we begin to tell a woman how to make a man (her husband) that probably wants no child fall for her? How about you having a good tete-a -tete with him to know where you stand in the marriage dear. A couple that are in a marriage together are supposed to have their plans on kids and stuffs and if you are wanting the kids and he isn't co-operating then you are not together there. How can a man have the heart to starve his wife s-exual satisfaction, some men are terribly selfish. Are you sure he still wants to make babies with you? Are you sure he still wants to be in the marriage with you? If he doesn't, why force it up on him. I truly wish that there is a magic wand that can make all things right and beautiful for you because you deserve to be happy. I also truly wish that you get that your heart's desire of having a man that loves you and is there for your kids. |
zebudaya:I just read Buhari's comment over the bombings in one of the dailies and the words he used to describe the govt is "Incompetent", exactly the picture the BH are trying to paint and drive home to us all the masses. Nigerians were decapitated murdered with their flesh scattered all over the place, is this the right time to paint the govt as incompetent? Any well meaning Nigerian should be profering solution at this point not nagging and playing politics. I am not crazy about politics, I didn't vote GEJ in and I can't look at these dead people now and go shouting "GEJ is incompetent" instead I will think of ways to add my support to GEJ's govt so that this can stop and should I find GEJ incompetent, I will leave that for when GEJ tries to make a second run for presidency to say "No" to GEJ with my vote. All these cries and nagging of GEJ, are you guys going to unseat him for Boko Haram to stop their acts? Perhaps if that is possible you may try that-----remove GEJ tonight and enthrone a northerner but know that the BHs may only get a bit assuaged.(Isn't that the picture they are painting?) The bombings may decrease but that will not make this go away. Something tells me that we are being manipulated by outside forces who are importing violence to our shores and dragging that avalanche of violence other parts of the world are experiencing to us. The northerners may be keeping mute and watching because it is their religious brotherhood and the whole mayhem they think may be to their advantage politically as long as it paints GEJ bad and has Nigeria in a state of dissarray. Talking about making sense----- I don't know who is being sensible here, the person looking at solutions to problem or the person bemoaning and nagging the President? I don't want to be part of this argument, my friend. Like I said my heart bleeds for my country and the pains these deads went thru as well as the pains their families are going thru. I am just looking at the Iraq Bombings today in CNN and my heart bleeds more with my hearts in my hands and fears of where my country is headed to if this is not nipped now. We need to do something about these before Nigeria becomes hell on earth. We are quietly drifting to a state where by we all will be cowering in our houses in fears with bombings and gruel sights of dead humans becoming nothing before our eyes because the picture of the gory sights of mangled flesh that I saw yesterday took something away from me. It took away some of my innocence, I have never seen such wickedness before. I truly feel for my country. The world is watching us here and now is not the time to bicker. |
pedestal82:Glad to see clear headed ones like you who can read in between the lines. How can the same leaders who professed to have the interest of this country at heart fold their hands and watch these merchants of death in their environment. It is either they are sponsoring them to create a sense of unrest and inefficiency or that this whole issue is even bigger than most people think and may even be sponsored and backed by infiltrators from the other part of the world where these kinds of suicide bombings are being practised. All people can do is mouth off and vent on Jonathan, how about we all think of what we can do to stop this for a change. They are killing our brothers and sisters, you are running and shouting at Jonathan and doing nothing to defend yourself or even stop it entirely and there they are laughing at you and having fun over the confusion they have succeeded in creating. Retaliating on Moslems in the south is a no no because we are not all barbarians, the question on our mouth should be "HOW DO WE STOP THIS MASSACRE" NOT SITTING ON LAPTOPS AND NAGGING AT GEJ LIKE GOSSIPY WOMEN. |
zebudaya:My Friend, I refuse to come to Nairaland and bicker with people like you who don't know that the world is watching them here. People were killled and decapitated, we all with heavy hearts are here to profer solution and share ideas and what people like you knows to do is insult people shamelessly. This generation of spineless young men that can't arise to situations and only hide behind their computer to insult decent ladies, give me back Ojukwu again and again----I respect men like him who does not keep silent in the face of tyranny not mouthy/spineless ones that shoot off their wide mouth here. Right now my heart is so heavy that I don't freaking care who is the president of Nigeria much more laundering his linens as a PR, we are trying to reason wisely here so cut that crap about PR and soul selling because if you even have a soul you won't be talking to ladies like that. There is nothing anybody does in Nigeria that people like you won't be mouthing off at. Several months ago GEJ was being insulted that he isn't curbing this----several days ago it was in the news that his army went to the threshold of BH and fought them, many of you came here to shout---What has GEJ done-o-o?,It wasn't right to use force on BH lest they get more violent!, GEJ shouldn't have done that? and on and on and on. So here we are ----offer your solution on what GEJ should do, you cannot all your brain can manufacture is insult. See how the Boko Haram bastards have most of you on a chess table and playing with your heads, they have you where they want you to be: Fearful, unsettled and blaming the government. Look beyond that and open your eyes young man and think about the part you can play as a man to stop this not to be shooting off mouth behind some laptops. Mtscheeew. Please my heart is very heavy right now, don't upset me my friend. |
Was it not in the news some days ago that the armies went to the BH's hiding place and duelled with them---that should be an indication that they are fighting this. Nigeria is too freaking big for one man to be blamed over this problem. This problem dwells with us, the northerners have past presidents that have ruled this country and if they truly have the interest of the country at heart they cannot keep arms akimbo and watch and laugh at the BH make fun of Jonathan's govt that is if they are not even the people funding this madness. The moslems should rise and abhor this if they are against it, failing to do so shows that they have a plan against other Nigerians. Let them divide this freaking country so that these disgusting northerners can live in thier own country by themselves and we can rest. |
President Jonathan is not to be blamed for the insecurity in Nigeria, in the past he may be blamed for not doing enough to curb this but not now. The recent development in which the army duelled with the Boko Harams is an indication that he is fighting this. When people blame govt and president goodluck, let them know that these religiously and politically minded/sponsored Boko Harams have you where they want you. One of their motives is to unsettle us all, incite fear and make the govts look inefficient just to have us thinking that only the northerners can rule Nigeria aright. They are shooting themselves in their arms because at the end of the day the southerners will return home, the northerners will go back to their north and Nigeria will be so divided that they will never smell that oil they have been hovering over all their lives and that will serve them right. |

isik: isik:Okay-o-o brother Isik, you and other truthful moslems that are seeing the evil in this should rise up and talk to your brothers. I am glad that people like you detest this but I am not seeing the moves by persons like you to speak against this and enlighten these ignoramus/bigots. How long have they been doing this massacre and I haven't seen other moslems stand up against that. You guys should make them stop. If Christians decide to wipe out the moslems in their community, it will affect other innocent moslems and perhaps your families too. Should we start living like it was in the stone age and be killing ourselves, No! Silence on your part gives them the courage to do more. When the world trade centre was hit, I visited my brother's office at Abuja and still remember the joy and smiles on the faces of some moslems that walked into the office and saw the world trade attack being televised. Why are Nigerian moslems here being happy that people were killed in far away America if they don't like violence? Wait, Is there a mission by the moslems to kill off everybody and rule the world? If there is you guys should tell us but if there isn't you guys should make them stop. What is all these religious madness?? |
I am scared of looking at these pictures again lest I vomit. This is a new era in the lives of Nigerians, violence has been imported home to us and we are now exposed to the worst sights of bloodshed, massacre and human butchery the world has ever known. I am that person that will quickly call on Mukina to remove such pictures from the sight of people but right now we should look at it and understand the gravity of what is being done to us. I can't stand blood now I have to look at my fellow decapitated, mangled Nigerians turned into Kanda by wicked souls. Let us all see it as it is perhaps that should make us rise and say that "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH". Everybody agwo no n'akirika o-o-o. There's a snake on the rooftop, people beware! I foresee a Nigeria where the southerners return home to the south and the northerners to theirs, each on their own country. Oh weren't the middle beltans crying the other day that they don't want to be supporting or be one with the northerners anymore. They can get their own country too and we will all have peace abi? The Nigerian govt should quickly seek the help of foreign intelligence that can gather information on how these madness can be rooted out. I am still surprised that people being ravaged by poverty are not having mercy on their poor condition and can afford all these high powered guns and bombs. These persons are either getting foreign support or are being sponsored by some rich politicians in Nigeria. One of their aim no doubt is to portray this present govt. as inefficient and when you guys abuse Jonathan and his govt you are playing into their hands. They only want us to feel that only northerners can rule Nigeria right and that the southerners are incapable but they are only doing themselves because their worst fears (that had them clinging to the southern oil) will fall upon them in no time. There is no doubt that Nigeria is headed to a full fledged division, who wants to be one nation with monsters?-----Not me! |
Idowuogbo: bayulala:Just my thought dearie, it baffles me how their fellow believers of the same doctrine (that had them killing and maiming) keep mute over it all and still return to worship the same whatever that had them killing others. If they are decent people shouldn't they tell the ignorant ones among them to stop the madness. What belief will have me killing people , I'd rather be religionless. All these crazy religious madness, I just love my God and that is it. I ain't doing crazy religion. People should learn to use their brain and stop allowing crazy teachings run their lives, our forefathers had no religion and they lived peacefully. What religion? Excuse me! IF BOKO HAREMS OR (WHATEVER MADNESS THEY ARE CALLED) CONSIDER WESTERN EDUCATION SACRILEGE, THEY SHOULD GO AND FIGHT THE WESTERNERS AND LEAVE INNOCENT NIGERIANS (MEN,WOMEN & CHILDREN) ALONE. IS IT NOT ENOUGH THAT PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING TO SURVIVE IN THIS COUNTRY THAT THEY HAVE TO BE ADDING ANGUISH AND HEARTBREAK? WHY KILL HELPLESS PEOPLE AND HAVE THEM MAIMED, DECAPITATED AND DEAD ALL OVER THE PLACE LIKE THAT? The sight of those dead and decapitated is making my heart bleed, these are brothers and sisters of our fellow human beings and their hearts are broken right now. THIS IS WICKED AND EVIL! WHY VENT YOUR ANGER OVER THE WEST ON US OR DID ALLAH TELL THEM TO KILL ALL OF US? SILLY! |
Idowuogbo:Idowu dear, I am boiling so much like if they give me gun to fight this people, the anger will give me great courage to do that fearlessly. What is this madness that people will not rest because some people chose ignorance and s-tupidity. Right now I am begging my brothers living at Abuja to begin to come down south and they are not taking me on. These Boko nonsense people are murdering sleep in Nigeria, how can we sleep again without wondering what they will do next? |
Do you know how long I have been begging that they divide this country (long before Ghadaffi mentioned that too)? What are we doing yoked together with monsters, people. I am fed up! What more is remaining to say?----now everybody is seeing that there is no "U" in our united and shouting that we be divided. Give people their country and let us rest. One of these bombs came a bit close to where one of my brothers live, if they kill my brothers for me what will I say. People will come and vent and we will all disperse and families of the deceased will be mourning with hearts broken and shattered. I feel so terrible that I can't even muster degrading words to give these freaking Boko b-astards. |
I am so shaken by those pictures of decapitated and dead people that I am speechless and can't even vent right now like everybody else. Wait, what did those dead women, men and girls (with their well made xmas hairdo) do to deserve such wickedness from their fellow human being who merely wants to be playing games with human lives. I am so disgusted! Will calm myself and return cos I am still shaking right now! I am beyond words at what ignorance and silly beliefs are doing to our world. |
Who said that Carnival was borrowed from the whites? Carnival is an African thing, it's the same masquerading that we do here in Africa that they do there dressed up in funky masquarade-looking costumes playing Mas. It has great positives for the society, it stirs up money into the economy and into the pockets of people making the costumes and organizing the event. In some societies it is millions of dollars business as it boosts tourism. If they have such pecks like music and costume competitions, people take away millions of dollars as prizes. The entertainment, hospitality, tourism and clothing industry benefit a lot from it. The greater part of it is that it brings people together with people looking forward to it working hard together to get the prizes. It enables people to de-stress and have fun together. I don't see anything wrong with it as long it makes people happy and doesn't hurt anybody. It's nice that our people are now into it but let them not forget that it's same old masquerading that it's all about. They should feature our own traditional masquarades and stuffs too. The only thing that seems to be missing there is Soca music blazing in the air. If the Nigerian music industry can explore this event , they will reap greatly from it. Poster thanks for sharing the pictures, it's lovely to watch people having fun. They should have organized better and blocked some roads temporary with another alternative made for motorists. People do not deserve to have their precious time wasted like that. W-o-o-y-i-i-i(clapping) I'm loving it, have fun people! |
Am i the only one that was getting a feeling of "there's something unhealthy about these crying people" each time I saw those on the television? What kind of unhealthy attachment to a ruler is that? It reeks of "some unhealthy hold and a people brain washed into some adoration and fear of their ruler". How did they manage to have such a hold on the masses? It beats me. If you can think of what made some people silly enough to allow the likes of Reverend King and other manipulators of the world have an unhealthy hold on their lives then you will understand what I mean. |
Pity she killed herself over the roving eyes/adventure-seeking g-e-n-ital of a man. It's high time innocent females shed off some false cindrella/princecharming ideals of love some of grow up with, the reality is that a good percentage of men can't handle their testosterone. A man like that with no integrity has no resistance and restraints to other women outside. One should be careful not to be saddled with marriage with a randy man but if you already ended up with one be smart enough not to allow his randiness cost you your life. You are even better off without him than allowing jealousy make you do stuffs, a woman has killed another woman her fiance decided to marry and she is still spending decades in prison without the man----huh. The man she killed for is busy loving up some other woman now. How about our woman that poured acid on her husband (because he made up with his ex-wife and wanted her back)? Have they caught her yet? Heard she went on the run, what a life to live hiding all the days of your life? Okay hussy died, ex-wife enjoying hussy's wealth while she is on the run that is if she isn't locked up now. Who lost? The woman herein has killed herself, hussy is alive and will keep cruising with his randy "kini", it's heroic to some people to die for love but for a "randy" d*ck. Nah nah nah |
maclatunji:Thanks for your words, do know that I'm not part of those girlish bickerings. I didn't do that in my school days and growing up as a young girl and can't be fiddling with that now. All I pointed out in the thread is that it is important that the site and the forum members help discourage mockeries and tauntings that is going on here so that people can be more free to share their problems. I wasn't speaking in vain, even Seun the owner of the site once admitted in one of his interviews which I read that one of the problems he encounters here is the insensitivities some people display sometimes. Know that I am not and refuse to be part of all the hullabaloos that followed suit after that my post. The false accusations I am been labelled with here is all for daring to tell a nairalander that it is not good and that a mother like her should not be ----mocking a distressed woman who dared share her marriage problems here that she is "begging her husband for intimacy" ----mocking a young woman that is seeking advice on the limitations of helping her troubled fiance financially and insensitively telling her that the reason she is helping him is because she is desperate. ----mocking and sneering at the business(means of sustenance) of a pregnant woman that swallowed her pride to ask for help with Baby cot If that makes me a bad person as I am being made out, it's all good. The term "Mama Mmadu meaning mother" which I used when I talked to her was later translated maliciously by her and her clique that I insulted their children and family but I understand that they needed some justification for themselves when others in the thread frowned on her insulting her fellow woman for not being married. No way am I letting anybody make me feel bad about myself dearie. I am happy for us all for our blessings. It gladdens me to see others gets blessed just like it saddens me to see people that are already hurting made fun of. I have no apology for speaking up against that. No, I don't. I have no time for these and don't bother reading all the stuffs being said against me here but this is for anybody that may have read them and believed whatever they have in there. I agree that we all have different views to problems and that all these views cannot all sound friendly in the ears of the persons seeking comfort but do we have to mock and abuse them while giving our contrary view and anybody that frowns on that gets mocked & abused too. |
perx:I feel your pain dearie. Severally have I logged in to say something that will douse your heart with comfort and severally has words failed me, I only hope that God gives you the strength you need through this. A good medical care is important for you and with the fighting spirit you seem to have, such is not impossible. Last night I was trying to design a blog too, when you start it and needs to share ideas you can send me a mail and we can help each other with the designing okay Baby. The blog thing is a great idea that may get us the help we need here. |
anonymous6:Friend I am the last person to diss on our blackness so let your heart not be troubled. Where I live (and borrowed the slang "darkie" from) the term "darkie" is used to refer to a beautiful african girl as a beautiful african princess. There's no negativity to it at all. I ain't being rude, I even love and appreciate beautiful dark complexions. My younger brother is a "darkie" and I am still loving his complexion so chill Baby. KnowAll:I failed to see through your observation because I even told myself after looking at the picture that they did not really bring across a message of "two loving couples that are enjoying Cintron drinks" that is if that is really what they meant to depict with the picture. They are not looking corsetted together in anyway, there was no lovey-doveying closeness to it. They only painted a picture of two decent adults enjoying their drinks yet keeping their distance. Why won't Akon feel "Hip" abeg let the guy enjoy his fame biko. Akon even have some level of modesty because when he featured in the Lady Gaga "Just dance" video he could not play the "wild partying mode" part well as others were playing in the movie, he was being shy & modest and stuff. |
