NaijaCowFarm: I am not happy that Peter Obi did not win. There are clear fundamental factors that were so herculean to overcome the very moment LP/NNPP alliance failed. Now that Atiku is seemingly out of the way, it is time to galvanise the opposition towards 2027. It is going to be a marathon, so let us start now. There is no point wasting resources on election tribunal. With the capacity shown by Obi, 2027 is possible, but we need to do the following:
1. Not waste time and resources on election tribunal, but need to let Nigerians know of the brazen robbery APC governors and Wike perpetrated. If the PDP wants to challenge the results, let them do so themselves, without involving LP
2. Get real political structure for Labour Party across Nigeria. One reason we loss was because we did not have strong roots in the North.
3. Galvanise all elected officials to form a formidable force to take on APC, which is already reduced in strength from 21 to 12 states.
4. Peter Obi and LP should focus on the March 11, 2023 governorship polls. Obi should begin touring states LP won to boost morale of LP supports in the 22 states win high voters. Not waste resources in states like Katsina, Yobe, Zamfara.
5. LP leadership should begin talks with NNPP, progressive still in PDP and form a formidable party with structure, just like what ACN/CPC did. We need to start now. What are you saying? If Inec is allowed to go Scot free now with the very obvious rigging, they can do it any other time and people like you would still come out and say the next person should prepare for 2031. When you don't fight injustice, you allow it to get strengthened and continue spreading. Yes, tinubu has been declared the winner by compromised inec, but deep down they know they are not the choice of the people and it's making them really sad |

I've taken my time to assess Obi with an open mind. All I can see about him is just an average man both in intellect, competence and capacity. He lacks the tactfulness and resourcefulness to turn around the multifaceted challenges bewildering the county.
He's just hustling to bear the name (Mr. President) and to file in for perceived ethnic gap.
I don't need to guess much about the outcome or outlook of Obi's presidency cos the tree can easily be recognized by it fruit. So it old and forgetful Tinubu or Atiku whose character has been questioned over the year's that can handle the 'multifaceted challenges ' bewildering Nigeria? I dey wonder if some of una dey think at all o! Can you give this present tinubu or atiku your company to run for you? |

It's good he's saying what he's saying as they can be used to hold him accountable. Unlike Buhari that denied all his campaign promises with the excuse that he was not the one that made/said them. You can use what obi has said in his campaigns and what the others have said to guess who would at least try to do something for the country once he gets there. It's simple common sense. |

Southeast that will declare "no election on biafra land" on election day to scare voters from coming out that you're saying he's bagged? Story! I'm a staunch supporter of Obi, but happenings in the east is making me lose hope on him. Atiku already has a 90% chance of getting block votes from the north, while Obi's chance of getting block votes from the east is not even up to 50% simply because Igbos don't know how to play politics despite being a major tribe and they'll be shouting marginalization up and down. The way d north is stylishly rallying around atiku so should the south east rally around obi. The likes of soludo should stop demarketing their brother and give him their support. Don't allow desperation and stupidity to overrule your sense of reason.. God no go follow you look am from your angle o This is a nonsense submission. Who said divorce is not an option when a partner is consciously and adamantly refusing to play her roles to the extent that the other is contemplating suicide? This is a shifty advice. nokia1000: I am fully regretting marrying my wife. She is always right and doesn't take corrections. She doesn't have sex drive. Prefer sleeping alone that she doesn't want someone body to touch her. She is not serious in anything that can generate money. I have made a lifetime mistake. Sometimes I feel like committing suicide to get free from regretting. I am seeing myself going down slowly. You're very insane for contemplating suicide for something that has an easy solution. Your wife has no business being in a marriage if she's unwilling to play her role. Both husband and wife have roles to play in a marriage and if your wife is unwilling to play hers, kick her out of your house and gain back your sanity. Why did she agree to marry you? Man, that's a problem with an easy fix. You can start afresh. Don't take your life because of someone else's selfish and inconsiderate actions. You can start afresh and the sooner you take a stand the better for you. |

Romanoff: Anybody in a marriage that is not comfortable leaving their phones unlocked and with their spouse is cheating or being dishonest about their finances.
This is a fact.
So y'all can explore each other's private parts but the phone is where you draw the line? For the finance part, my wife won't know about all of my finances because I have several people I'm supporting monthly. I won't want her to start questioning every spending and getting unnecessarily angry concerning some of my spending. But she'll certainly have free access to my phone and vice versa. I don't think there should be any form of privacy in marriage because it gives room for suspicion and distrust |

jaxxy: I don't believe in any sort of fone privacy btwn married couples unless marry the wrong or complicated one which happens alot sadly. Seriously, there isn't suppose to be any form of privacy in a marriage relationship. I've ghosted several babes for merely overly protecting their phones when we're together and they do have free access to mine. I don't condone nonsense and can never tolerate any act that creates the impression of unfaithfulness. If u're not ready for commitment stay in ur lane. |
Family › Re: Couples Hiding Their Phones: How True Is This Statement? by jadyclem(m): 8:14pm On Sep 22, 2022 |
It's odd for partners in committed relationship to hide their phones from each other. It shows lack of commitment to the relationship. If I can gain access to your body easily which is your most priced possession as an individual, why should gaining access to your phone be an issue? A relationship starts failing the moment any partner starts protecting their phone like their life depends on it. Such action creates suspicion and I don't think I can be in a committed relationship with a secretive partner. |
Romance › Re: Why Is It Hard For A Man To Forgive A Woman Who Cheated? by jadyclem(m): 9:36pm On Jun 07, 2022 |
Ocholu: So today, I was catching up with my buddies when this topic came up. We analyzed it critically with everybody giving his/her own opinions.
I found out that, man! A woman can easily and quickly forgive a man who cheated on her than a man to do so.
Some of my buddies opined that men are polygamous in nature hence, the natural exception. I find their assertions quite disturbing. Because if a woman can forgive and accept back a man who cheated on her, so should a man.
A lady who was with us also said that even though men are the ones who cheat the most, when a woman cheats; all hell let loose. But if it's a man, no noise is heard. Why so??
The other dude was like, if his woman cheats, he'd forgive and accept her. But it's just for the fun of it. That he won't take her serious again.
So in the end, men cheating is somehow normal and acceptable. But a woman's own is a sacrilege and abomination.
It's the double standard for me.
Mods, help propel to FP abeg. Make person get wider opinions. I'm not in any way justifying cheating by any gender because it's one of the highest form of disrespect for one's partner. But when we talk about cheating in relationship, a man may cheat and still perform his responsibilities and duties at home without any hindrance and most of them still treat their partner with love and respect. But the moment a woman starts cheating that's the moment she would start despising her partner and detaching herself from him emotionally. So cheating on the side of women is more deadly than that of men. A woman that cheats is no longer connected to you in any way and can easily harm you or plot your down fall. A cheating woman is a time bomb and d earlier you discover her cheating and distance yourself from her the better for you. Just saying! |

It seems nothing is designed in Nigeria to favour the masses. When oil price was low, everyone in government was lamenting about the low price and how there's no money that they had to increase the oil price of the local market and introduced multiple means of taxing us. We no complain because we understood the situation then. Now oil price is very high and the same people have started lamenting again and complaining about subsidy. What's going on in this country? Why is it that the masses suffer in scarcity and also in plenty? Will there ever be a time where something good is going to happen in this country that majority of the masses will benefit from it?... |

Women are asking for equality in everything and are asking for an advantage at the same time
You can't be a feminist agitating for level play ground and still asking for 35% seats to be allocated to you because that would be unfair and mischievous
In my own humble opinion, I think they should participate in politics more often and not sit back and wait to be appointed into political positions
A woman I respect so much is Sen Mrs Ekwuniife from Anambra central.
She have contested and shown that she can represent and is now a two time Senator in Anambra central that has the most number of strong politicians like Chris Ngige, Peter Obi, Sen. Vincent Umeh and the rest
Most if these people protesting don't even have a Voter's card and are not registered to any political party, but you would like to win elections and occupy political appointments
You can't reap where you did not sow
Nobody is stopping them from buying tickets, declaring there interest and campaigning
It's a fair challenge so don't be looking for an advantage They're simply not ready to compete. Men competed (worked) for everything they have and you see them asking for slots. Why? Because they are women! These people only have mouth and nothing else! |

pocohantas: We are not ready for this conversation.
This is the best thing now, but even landlords of old properties are either renovating and dividing it to get more flats. Or they increase their rents because they know the drill.
However, if one is lucky to see a decent old flat with enough parking space (very important), just take it and upgrade to your taste. Funny. Landlords of these days are extremely greedy and heartless! After you've upgraded it to your taste, the landlord will either increase your rent or give you quit notice so the next tenant can pay much more. Talking from experience and I've also seen it happen again and again |
