tctrills:The problem with religion is it brainwashes one and makes one see black as white. I just showed you a passage your yhwh changed his mind like 3 times or so, and even wanted to murder someone for daring to obey him. Lol ![]() I mean that was pretty comical. If an omniscient being changing his mind means nothing to you, then I rest my case. I'm not irritated by your yhwh. How can I be irritated by someone I deem non-existent? I’m simply amused by folks like you that worship him. And that gaffe is just one of the myriads of contradictions, lies and misinformations in the bible |
tctrills:Is that all you have to say? Lol. You dont see anything wrong in that? Ok. No problem |
TradingGod:So what about the change in physical attributes? Like change in height, growth of wings etc. Is it mental too? |
TradingGod:Can you for once remove religion from that your dull cretarded empty brain and focus on knowledge? Read this and educate yourself. Adaptation is an evolutionary trait https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/adaptation. There is nowhere science involved god or jesus. If you do that argument, no problem. But today, we're talking about evolution
|
TradingGod:Lol. We humans have a tailbone. Please google 'coccyx'. You currently have it as you're typing on your device. So does every human. In fact, as a fetus in your mother's womb you were growing a tail, and then it starts regressing to the stage it is now. In fact this regression process can get corrupted (as many other process in the body can be) and some babies are actually born with tails and we surgically excise them. Google 'babies born with tails' and see for yourself. These tails were the vestiges of our ancestors. About evolution. I don't even know where to start teaching you. I'll assume your knowledge of biology is poor. Plants and animals adapt to environment and challenge. Those adaptations are evolutions. Some animals lose their limbs, some grow longer necks etc. If you have managed to read up any of the links i sent you, I wouldn't have to be typing this long epistle. Some humans evolve to living in high altitudes. Their lungs develop higher oxygen carrying capacity etc. Thus they survive and breath normal in mountains. People like us cannot survive up in those mountains unless we carry pressurized oxygen cylinders. And when they come down the low grounds, they can stay and perform in high oxygen demanding activities like running. That's why Kenyans and Ethiopians excel in marathons. The above instance of evolution does not make those Ethiopians turn into different humans but other instances abound where different species are produced, in a process called speciation. Please read up those links. I specifically gave animals that gave rise to completely different species. Please read and read |
tctrills:Now this is the whole of Numbers 22. This passage explains just one of the reasons atheists believe yhwh and the Bible were a poorly constructed joke. There are myriads of reasons but now, we'll dissect just one of them. Read up… Numbers 22 1 Then the Israelites traveled to the plains of Moab and camped along the Jordan across from Jericho. 2 Now Balak son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites, 3 and Moab was terrified because there were so many people. Indeed, Moab was filled with dread because of the Israelites. 4 The Moabites said to the elders of Midian, “This horde is going to lick up everything around us, as an ox licks up the grass of the field.” So Balak son of Zippor, who was king of Moab at that time, 5 sent messengers to summon Balaam son of Beor, who was at Pethor, near the Euphrates River, in his native land. Balak said: “A people has come out of Egypt; they cover the face of the land and have settled next to me. 6 Now come and put a curse on these people, because they are too powerful for me. Perhaps then I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that whoever you bless is blessed, and whoever you curse is cursed.” 7 The elders of Moab and Midian left, taking with them the fee for divination. When they came to Balaam, they told him what Balak had said. 8 “Spend the night here,” Balaam said to them, “and I will report back to you with the answer the Lord gives me.” So the Moabite officials stayed with him. 9 God came to Balaam and asked, “Who are these men with you?” 10 Balaam said to God, “Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, sent me this message: 11 ‘A people that has come out of Egypt covers the face of the land. Now come and put a curse on them for me. Perhaps then I will be able to fight them and drive them away.’” 12 But God said to Balaam, “Do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed.” 13 The next morning Balaam got up and said to Balak’s officials, “Go back to your own country, for the Lord has refused to let me go with you.” 14 So the Moabite officials returned to Balak and said, “Balaam refused to come with us.” 15 Then Balak sent other officials, more numerous and more distinguished than the first. 16 They came to Balaam and said: “This is what Balak son of Zippor says: Do not let anything keep you from coming to me, 17 because I will reward you handsomely and do whatever you say. Come and put a curse on these people for me.” 18 But Balaam answered them, “Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything great or small to go beyond the command of the Lord my God. 19 Now spend the night here so that I can find out what else the Lord will tell me.” 20 That night God came to Balaam and said, “Since these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.” Balaam’s Donkey 21 Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey and went with the Moabite officials. 22 But God was very angry when he went, and the angel of the Lord stood in the road to oppose him. Balaam was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him. 23 When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with a drawn sword in his hand, it turned off the road into a field. Balaam beat it to get it back on the road. 24 Then the angel of the Lord stood in a narrow path through the vineyards, with walls on both sides. 25 When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it pressed close to the wall, crushing Balaam’s foot against it. So he beat the donkey again. 26 Then the angel of the Lord moved on ahead and stood in a narrow place where there was no room to turn, either to the right or to the left. 27 When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat it with his staff. 28 Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?” 29 Balaam answered the donkey, “You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.” 30 The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you?” “No,” he said. 31 Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown. 32 The angel of the Lord asked him, “Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me.[a] 33 The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If it had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared it.” 34 Balaam said to the angel of the Lord, “I have sinned. I did not realize you were standing in the road to oppose me. Now if you are displeased, I will go back.” 35 The angel of the Lord said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but speak only what I tell you.” So Balaam went with Balak’s officials. 36 When Balak heard that Balaam was coming, he went out to meet him at the Moabite town on the Arnon border, at the edge of his territory. 37 Balak said to Balaam, “Did I not send you an urgent summons? Why didn’t you come to me? Am I really not able to reward you?” 38 “Well, I have come to you now,” Balaam replied. “But I can’t say whatever I please. I must speak only what God puts in my mouth.” 39 Then Balaam went with Balak to Kiriath Huzoth. 40 Balak sacrificed cattle and sheep, and gave some to Balaam and the officials who were with him. 41 The next morning Balak took Balaam up to Bamoth Baal, and from there he could see the outskirts of the Israelite camp. Now, reading the above passage as a fresher should have one scratching his head. 1. An omniscient god was asking a mortal he created who the other mortals are. As an omniscient god, he would have told Balaam that some officials would visit him in some days, and told him what he would tell them as reply. 2. Not only that, he originally told Balaam not to go with them, but changed his mind and told him to go with them when they sent more goodies ![]() 3. Now when Balaam obeyed him and went with them, he sent an angel to kill him, even though poor Balaam was adhering to him instructions ![]() 4. After threatening Balaam that he would have killed him if not for the donkey, he still went ahead to tell him to continue on the journey 5. I don't want to talk about the talking donkey ( that's some hardcore Shrek moves ) that's for another day. So, lets hear your views, sir ![]() |
TradingGod:And I told you evolution takes many years, it would not be visible in your eyes. Some organs in our body that were useful to our Homo Erectus ancestors are now obsolete. These organs include the tail and appendix. We still have them but they are useless to us because of adaptation |
TradingGod:Where I dey change mouth? Evolution simply means change. Man came from a common ancestor with apes. We are all Great Apes. The present humans, Homo Sapiens, is different from the previous humans before us, like the Homo Erectus, Homo Habilis etc. Speciation is a form of evolution where the change leads to the formation of a complete specie, which isn't backward compatible. |
tctrills:Lol. Where am I going, bro? ![]() |
TradingGod:Cool 1. So that means he knew Adam was gonna be misled by his wife and by the tree, yet he went ahead and gave him Eve and planted the trees. Don't you think that's wrong? If I knew my child is gonna be burned by gas cooker, and I still ho ahead and buy the gas cooker, and even place it near the child, what would you think of me? A loving dad? 2. Please what bible scripture verse is that? |
TradingGod:The above highlighted means you don't even have the basic knowledge of evolution (which is a common trend amongst third world theists). What you are referring to is what is known as speciation, which is a form of evolution. And it happens over hundreds or thousands of years. I suggest you educate yourself on evolution first before talking of speciation https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/speciation More https://www.britannica.com/science/speciation |
TradingGod:Quick questions… 1. Is Jesus god? 2. If the above is in the affirmative, is he omniscient? |
tctrills:Yeah, bro. Lemme ask you a question…. Can an omniscient god change his mind? ![]() |
MaxInDHouse:Maybe I should borrow a leaf from Buda and step up my gaslighting antics. You seem to love it |
tctrills:I did. Thats wonderment on the part of your god. Another instance….. Numbers 22 1. Then the Israelites traveled to the plains of Moab and camped along the Jordan across from Jericho. 2 Now Balak son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites, 3 and Moab was terrified because there were so many people. MaxInDHouse:MadMax, is there anything you believe that wasn't written in books? ![]() |
MaxInDHouse:So I'll have to be a 'religionist' before I read or research about religious books? |
budaatum:You, sire, are one person that scares MadMax. I guess its because you try out his tricks on him with better innuendos than us. Kudos. Never seen ma nigga MadMax be in a hurry to leave a debate(no matter how daft his views are) You must be good with the gaslighter ![]() |
IslamIsIdiotic:Lol. You obviously don't know Epic of Gilgamesh. That book was written about 1000 years before the Bible. And what's more? Its common knowledge. But somehow, Christians don't know it. https://history.howstuffworks.com/history-vs-myth/gilgamesh.htm |
MaxInDHouse:I'm not a theist, kind sire. So I can't go about preaching |
tctrills:Welcome to the world of MadMax. Dude pulls out random disjointed Bible verses from his ass to back up his half-assed views |
Image123:1. The concept of 'sin' was hatched by you folks and still punished by yall. So don't put it on us. 2. And no, I haven't seen any sick people healed. They are all scams without corroborations. Why do you think all the healings happen in church and social media but none happens in hospitals where the real sick folks are? |
MaxInDHouse:What are you talking about? Haven't you heard of Epic of Gilgamesh? |
tctrills:Youre the one that made an example with a phone. But why would yhwh ask Cain where his bro was when he knew where he was? |
Image123:The counterfeit one here is the Bible version. Most religious books copied from Epic of Gilgamesh, etc |
Aemmyjah:Have you mol3sted any kids today? Please do and get busy so we can have sane guys here |
tctrills:You called them on a phone, right? Did yhwh call those guys on a phone? If he knew where they were, why ask them 'where are you?' |
Courz:Probably MadMax and enemyJah were mol@ested as kids, reason they reason as fruitcases |
Aemmyjah:Yeah right ![]() |
Aemmyjah:Why are you always sending me to do your work? The other time you told me the Bible is replete with prophecies which were fulfilled. I told you to send me such Bible passages containing those prophesies and how such prophecies materialized, and you told me to go search it. Same here. You said he's talking archaic data, and I told you to provide data that JW is improving, now you're sending me to dig up the non-existent data. Bro, gaslighting don't work on me. PS: And just like I predicted, he answered me with insults ![]() |
Courz:Because they are all mol@sters |
MaxInDHouse:He's celebrated as the greatest Pop icon |
