A Bible writer who lived about 2700 years ago wrote that the earth is round and another wrote about 3500 years ago that the earth was hanging on nothing. The Evil Church that even tried to quench the Bible wanted to hold onto traditional scientific beliefs.

Only about 200 or 300 years ago when Man could observe the earth from space was it established that the earth is round... Yet, some atheists who did not want to acknowledge the Bible say that the earth is not entirely spherical or circular. We understand their pain. I was reading the yearbook of 2007 and found something interesting which I was moved to share on this forum
It is on page 44 of the book

For those who doubt, the book can be read online in our website jw.org and it is on page 44. I will quote the paragraph.

Taiwan: Students at a primary school were asked to write an essay for an annual writing competition. the theme was my favourite book 10 year-old Weizhen wrote that the Bible was her favourite book. Besides commenting on the accuracy of Bible prophecy and the fine guidance God's word gives, she explained that the Bible has given her answers to questions that neither her teachers know nor her fellow students could answer satisfactorily. "Our teacher told us that man's ancestors evolved from monkeys" wrote Weizhen. Her composition won the first prize among entries submitted by middle school students, although she is only in the 4th grade. In relating her experience, she quotes Hebrews 4 Verse 12 and then says, I give all honour to Jehovah God."


What a fine, convincing witness from a 10 year old?!
I'm not sure I'll have given such witness but see the questions she asked, see how she exposed the weaknesses of her teachers and co-students regarding evolution. See how she added more beauty to the Bible and presented logic yet, her essay came first

If they see a child with good manners, they praise him and his parents but if they see a child preaching or talking spiritual things, they condemn his parents
I'm very sure that no one in that school or any other school in the world even tertiary school will make reference to any evolutionary book, rarely science books as his/her favorite no matter how the teacher brainwash them to accept evolution. If you read 2 evolutionary books, you'll see contradictions and confusion
I'm proud of being a Jehovah's Witness. Yes, the Bible tells us the TRUTH about the formation of man. Man was created or made by an Intelligent Designer from the ground. That designer also lovingly gives us instructions in a manual (Bible) on how to life and enjoy life. Tell us where we come from, who we are, why we are here and where we are going as well as a future that gives hope.
Evolution does not tell us where we come from and their answers make no sense, it does not tell us who we are (compares us to brute apes), has and can NEVER tell us why we are here or where we are going. The future science gives us to doom- cataclysmic doom, environmental 'armageddon', nuclear'armageddon', all kinds of Armageddon that will destroy life on earth and these things just makes our existence here meaningless and purposeless. Evolution is the biggest scientific, mythical, philosophical, fictional lie of all times. They will look for bones or skull, reconstruct it into a whole organisms by artist impression and proclaim 'We have found the missing link to out common ancestry with apes'

How young ones handle assignment, ministry, give a witness at school just amazes me but I'll also praise the parents cos it's not easy
Other religions just keep aside Sunday school for them

In real life, most children who are inquisitive enough to ask such questions , wouldn't be satisfied with the dad's explanation.

The next question that would come before going to question the mum, would have been, where did God come from ?
Or, how do you know God created the first couple? and even more, where is God?

In a 100 million years there might still be beings that consider themselves humans and trace their lineage back to us, but they will definitely not be the same type of humans as we are now.

Depending on the environment they will have lived and exposure to sun light their skin color might be completely different to the dark and light shades of brown we know.

And depending on what they will have been eating their guts might be entirely different to ours. Similar to how we as modern humans have the appendix which is an entirely useless organ to us, but may have acted as store for beneficial gut bacteria to our ancestors as they survived in the wild.

Maybe sexual selection continues whereby only tall people kept reproducing and to them the average human height is 12ft, not the 5'6ft it is now or maybe they are taller because they will live on lower gravity planets.

Maybe in the future our main food source only comes from the sea and rivers, and people adapt to hunting underwater, and becoming semiaquatic beings, being able to hold their breath for hours or longer, having eyes that adapt to see clearer underwater among other possible adaptations.

A 100 million years is a lot of time to extrapolate, but it is enough time for the earth as we know it, to no longer be the same. The climate and biome will be different and with that so will the humans that will have survived on it.

Basically whatever a human maybe in a 100 million years, will definitely not be recognizable to us, and would definitely be a different species from what we are today.

With my research the old daoist religion brought at least a benefit which is practical and reproduceable for the benefit of humanity it is the traditional Chinese healing method acupuncture which tourist and sick people visit those acupuncture practicioners and they get heal and the way it works is it uses the energetic centers in the body to heal u can do a further research for it but as for the abrahamic religion I don't think they really brought any thing to the table but by only promising them a mystical wonderland where milk and honey flows
