Samantha123: Well, I and my second nephew handled the salads. My sister and our third nephew did the baking and the desserts. Our eldest sister and niece handled the chicken. Our other sister and nephew handled the rest of the cooking. Dad, uncle, my brother in law, and my eldest nephew handled the braai.
So, I can say that so far our Christmas went well. You couldn't wish your Nairaland boyfriend a merry Xmas. |

jeromestarks: The girl looks decent. She's a wife material. The marriage will last but they won't grow old together if he's not the one who disvirgined her.
Infact, for bringing their lives to social media, I see them splitting sooner than expected.
Fvck any girl you want but when it comes to marriage, find a virgin woman.
Never pay Bride price and sponsor wedding ceremony just to have a woman who was fvcked by a guy who didn't pay anything except two eggs and indomie. Only a fool would do that. Are you the fool? Guy, this your point is striking. But... |
Romance › Re: Are Black People Attractive To White People Abroad? by jamesversion: 6:44pm On Dec 25, 2022 |
ibkayee: Compared to their counterparts black men in the diaspora have the least socioeconomic power, little institutional/household power, low social mobility, low representation in academia, high incarceration rates, low employment rates, but somehow they are very attractive to non blacks?
OP, if you’re looking to be fetishised over a stereotype about black men’s alleged sexual prowess you should be fine, unfortunately it’s unlikely that you’ll get the elite babes you’re looking for however. There’s a reason there’s a running joke that when you see a black man with an oyinbo, she’s below standard and probably could not land a ‘big fish’ in her own demographic.
Black people aren’t all the same but as far as optics, they will throw you all in the same box.
Ontop of being black you’re also an immigrant, which may come with its own additional issues lol
Best of luck Beauty and brains. Come lemme marry you. |

Samantha123: You Nigerians are very good at traveling to other countries and traveling to an another country is like traveling to an another state in Nigeria for you guys.. Nigerians travel alot but mostly for economic reasons. Canada on my mind sha. But haven't really come to terms with the idea of being an immigrant somewhere with limited status. Doesnt sit right with me being somewhere and not being able to really be a part of them. That is the major reason I'm still in Nigeria... and I'm not in a bad economic position. |

Samantha123: Why does it seems like Nigerians born abroad tend to look down on Nigerians born in Nigeria? I've noticed this mostly with some YouTubers on YouTube and it got me curious.
So, I was wondering if I could get more clarity from you guys.
Is it just me, or Nigerians born abroad look down on Nigerians born in Nigeria? Abroad is ambiguous. Where exactly are we talking about?? |
Family › Re: Christmas Competition For The Kids. by jamesversion: 5:47am On Dec 21, 2022 |
Samantha123: So since Christmas is around the corner, I've been thinking of hosting a mini Christmas competition on Christmas day for kids between the ages of 5 and 15 years old.
We'll be all at home along with my nephews, nieces, and the kids from the neighborhood will be coming to the house to play with them.
We all know that Christmas is for the kids and we need to make it memorable for them.. The competition would include singing, dancing, poetry, and playing of drums. The winner between the ages of 5 to 10 would get a mini trophy along with either a remote car toy, or a Barbie collection depending on whether the winner is a boy or a girl.
As for the kids between the ages of 11 to 15, the winner will be awarded with a trophy too along with a 20L pnp grocery hamper bucket consisting of grocery, snacks, and sweets.
Those who didn't win will get 2 cup cakes each and a 100% mini fruit juice just to cheer them up and show appreciation.
I was thinking of hosting the competition at home since we have a lot of space there and the front yard is quite big, but the problem is that my mother is against it and says I'll be wasting money... The whole thing won't cost me more than R1000 and I don't mind spending such money because I've worked for it.
But my mother doesn't seems too pleased and I'm confused as whether to continue with the competition anyway, forget about it, or look for another place for me to host it.. Why don't you send me the R1000 lemme organise a Christmas children party here In Nigeria on your behalf? |

airsaylongcome: About same age when I watched my surgeon dad embalm a corpse. Some where in the region you refer to as the Midwest although it had since changed it’s name twice. Why do you say the job cannot be done with ordinary eyes? Once you can identify the arteries in the neck and in the thigh and cut them enough to insert the tubes that will send formalin to the body, that’s it. Absolutely zero fear for dead bodies. For the random ones in the road side, perhaps a little pity for how they have died, but absolutely no fear from here. If I stumbled across a dead body alone in a very lonely place, my fear will be that the killers are around and I may be next. And absolutely not that there’s a dead body there.
There was only one teaching hospital in Midwest Region. So I have a rough idea where you are referring to Lemme guess. Uniben Teaching hospital. Edo state. |

perdollar: Once upon a time, there were three Brothers named Sule, Abu and Loko. While on fish hunting in River Niger with their Father, Their Canoe capsized, The Three Brothers swam safely to the bank of d river, Abu to d East Bank, Sule to the West Bank and Loko to the South Bank. However Their Father who was nearly 70yo couldn't swim His way out because He got tired. Loko then threw a long rope to His Dad who grabbed it and was being pulled out of the river by Loko and the other Two who made it over to Loko. While they were pulling Their Father, each WL scream the others name and encourages them to push. Sule Ja, Loko Ja, Abu Ja. Ja means pull in hausa. They successfully pulled their Father over to Loko's side. Loko and Sule Laughed at their Father who got angry and cursed them. He said to Sule 'you will never make it in life'. To Loko,He said ' Your Glory WL be taken away from you and WL be given to Abu'. Loko stayed back at the South Bank of the river and named the land Lokoja which was once d capital of Nigeria but the Glory now belongs to Abuja the land at the East Bank of the River were Abu swam to and Despite Suleja closeness to Abuja, the land at the East Bank founded by Sule is still a town with lots of mud houses. Moral of the story: Lokoja is a cursed town, no sacrifice WL remove that curse. Satazaa needs to see this. Though he doesn't believe in things like this. |
