JarusHub is a career services startup with focus on improving employability and career advancement skills. Our office is in Yaba, Lagos. Our Administrative Assistant is proceeding on NYSC so we need a replacement, who will carry out the following tasks: 1, Maintaining JarusHub Social Media accounts (Facebook, twitter, Nairaland, Instagram) 2, Maintaining JarusHub emails 3, Taking care of JarusHub office 4, Receiving phone calls from clients 5, Promoting JarusHub on social media 6, Supporting the Head of Operations of JarusHub 7, Coordinating JarusHub outdoor events 8, Thinking for JarusHub! THE PERSON We prefer an HND graduate or second class lower (2:2) Bsc holder. We prefer someone living close to Yaba to minimise transport cost and to guarantee availability at short notice. We prefer someone that is waiting for NYSC (and has at least 5 months before proceeding on NYSC). It doesn't mean NYSC graduates can also not apply though. PAY Our pay is paltry, very paltry, but this is a great learning opportunity for the person as he will be exposed to loads of information and valuable experience working with us, which will aid his own personal development. We believe the greater motivation should be this learning opportunity. WORK SCHEDULE We're most active on weekends - Saturdays and Sundays (afternoon-evening on Sundays). Where you work on weekends, you will be given the next Monday and Tuesday off. UPDATE: We have received enough applications and can now choose. |
sparklebaby:Very unfair. It happened to 2 of my friends. |
fart:I don't think they will reject a diabetic. I know a Shell staff that is hepatitic. Not sure of HIV. Maybe people that have highly infectious diseases. All these are still speculations, they don't disclose the ground for medical disqualification. But I have not seen anyone they rejected during medicals. |
Man: Good morning Woman: What I don't good morning. ![]() |
We just finished preparing an Indian client for Shell Germany SRD few minutes ago. A thorough drill for more than 2 hours, as we took her through Technical Presentation, Case Study & Group Discussion. I was joined by 1 former Shell employee and the material was prepared for 4 successful SRD candidates in Shell Nigeria and Shell USA. We're having Nigeria mock SRD and will advise of date when you guys start receiving SRD invites. http://www.jarushub.com/interview-coaching/ |
petengine:We don't, for now. But if you have interview with any of those companies, JarusHub can prepare you. |
sparklebaby:Shell doesn't take up to 2 months to know your fate after the SRD. Your fate could be: 1, Successful and to resume immediately (or when you're available). This is especially for candidates that did extremely well at the SRD. 2, Successful and put on waiting list till they have a space for you. Waiting list can take up to a year. Unfortunately, you can still be rejected after being on waiting list for as long as 1 year. I have a friend that was on a waiting list for 1 year and called to resume after 1 year. I have 2 others that were on waiting list for 1 year and later got regret email. 3, Straight regret email after SRD. 1 and 2 will be invited for medicals. |
ProudOlodo:Happened to 2 of my friends. |
Dubai is my favourite holdaiy destination. Love to go with my family every year. |
Me I never enter o ![]() |
The preference-for-crowded-area part is very true. Many of them in Deira in Dubai. One helped my wife carry her goods to Bur Dubai where we lodged,if you see the way he was sneaking and watching his steps. He said he doesn't ordinarily come to that area (only risked it). Deira is like Obalende/Lagos Island and Bur Dubai like VI. |
1m is obviously per annum. That's about 85k month. For someone of his level of engagement, he obviously needs a PA. Essentially to be uploading his blog and othe r social media engagements. I'm not anywhere near Omojuwa on the Social Media hierachy, but I also have a PA that manages my JarusHub activities. With the level of his renown, he will be getting calls and emails on per minute basis. He needs someone to help organize his activities. |
Mubash087:Difficult to get him these days as an extremely busy man, but no harm in trying. Send me a PM. |
Beremx:This is funny ![]() he guy no include him own name ![]() |
good job. |
Kizyte:Our family house, a storey building, was built for what is equivalent of N4k in 1958 |
frankyychiji:Why do you have to be the one to determine what she will wear? |
olawalebabs:Check again, Oga, it's per annum. |
N13m per annum for a minister is too small. |
Body language don reach London. Lmao ![]() |
Simple question: Is he correct? |
StOla:Learn to respect people's choices. If the wife wore a bikini to this event, I'm sure you won't make this kind of comment. |
adeotiabdulaziz:Well, possible. But most good and structured jobs require first degree or HND minimum. |
It was glaring since even the campaign period that Buhari had so much trust in Fashola and Fayemi. Fashola was his face in the private sector. Both of them followed him to virtually all the foreign trips he made. I think he has hijacked the duo from Tinubu. Left to Tinubu, both may not be so relevant again. Credit still to Tinubu for discovering Fashola. |
Jarus:Shell Germany's SRD holds in second week of December. We have an Indian client who has been invited and consulted JarusHub for coaching. We will be doing Mock SRD via Skype for her this weekend. Her real SRD is scheduled for December 9 in Germany. We look forward to Nigeria SRD starting soon as we're preparing materials for potential candidates who will be attending our Lagos Mock Class already. |
adeotiabdulaziz:No first degree or ND or HND? |
Qelvin:If you kick the ball over the bar or to the side or made a wrong pass in box 18, or your ball hit a defender, you are wasting scoring opportunities but keeper is not involved! |
I asked the same question (2.5m though) when I was footdragging about starting my first house in 2009. I started all the same. It ended up a bigger project than envisaged with 10m plus spent. My advice: just start. |
Rabiu Ibrahim Came in, played for few minutes before being yanked off again. Meant to assist Mikel in the midfield but nothing was seen of him. 2/10 Obafemi Martins Mikel was, IMO,wrongfully removed and Martins deployed to play in the midfield, when Mikel should be retained and allowed to feed Martins who should have replaced Musa or Simon. He showed his fighting spirit and did well trying to mark and distribute ball to the strikers. A decent return. 6/10 Kelechi Iheanacho A debut the Man City youngster will like to forget in a hurry. Gave ball away, no accurate passes. Lost at some other times. 2/10 Oliseh: Did well by recalling Martins to SE team. I think removing Mikel was not optimal. For not winning this match, I'm rating him 4/10. Lalasticlala: 10/10 |
Ahmed Musa An off day for the skipper. Not sure he has the charisma to carry this team. Hugely talented, but today's game is one reason why pundits often use him and inconsistency in the same sentence. No good runs. No good pass. A bad game. 4/10 Moses Simon He failed to live to expectation as the star of the recent victory versus Cameroun. Made made flashes of brilliance, but no result. 4/10 Odion Ighalo Not much was seen of him. It appeared there was a disconnect between midfield and attack. The highly rated striker did not live to billing. 4/10 |
It's been a while I did player rating for Eagles matches, but I'm deciding to do for this match. Yet again, the SE struggled against an unrated African opposition. But for the for the wastefulness of the Swaziland team, they could have actually gone ahead as they had more scoring chances. Carl Ikeme Not tested much. No fantastic save to remember. He spent too much time dressing ball and sometimes killed tempo of game when he should have released the ball faster. Appeared composed nonetheless. 6/10 Abdullah Shehu The right back was aweful in the first half. He didn't do much. He set too many feet wrong. He needs to work more to be rated as a professional that is capable of donning Nigerian national team jersey. 4/10 Efe Ambrose Mr Cut. He appeared confident at the back with his signature cutting. He is becoming predictable and some opponents coaches may train their strikers on how to collect him from his cut. He also made an attempt to score from his trademark header in the second half. 5/10 Godfrey Oboabona This guy returned to SE to have one of his worst games. His past rating has continued to wane and that may explain he is stuck to backwater club in Turkey. His passes were as poor as his defensive ability. A bad game. 3/10 Elderson Echiejile The Monaco has toned down on his attacking style. He didn't link up with attack as he is known for. He could have done better. 4/10 Onazi Ogenyi Hardworking but no sense. He plays in a world class team and much was expected of him. He needs to up his game. He gave away ball too easily. 4/10 Mikel Obi Well, well, he may not be living to expectation but it was still glaring that he was a class ahead of his peers. He made flashes of passes - some accurate, some not so. He fell down too easily and also gave away possession a couple of time. Yet, it was glaring he was our best player. Removing him was a tactical blunder, IMO. 6/10. |
