FastShipping: Total Number of Voters by Region:
NORTHWEST 18.9million SOUTHWEST 14.3million NORTHEAST 10million SOUTHSOUTH 8.9m NORTHCENTRAL 7.6million SOUTHEAST 7million Total: 66 Million+
For Buhari:
NORTHWEST - 13 Million + SOUTHWEST - 6 Million+ NORTHEAST - 4 Million+ (Low Number of Voters Due to Insurgency) NORTHCENTRAL - 3Million+ SOUTHSOUTH - 1 Million+ SOUTHEAST - 400,000+
Total: 27, 000,000
For Jonathan:
NORTHWEST 4 Million+ SOUTHWEST 6 Million+ NORTHEAST 2 Million+ SOUTHSOUTH 6 Million+ NORTHCENTRAL 3 Million+ SOUTHEAST 5 Million+
Total: 26,000,000+ for Jonathan
- I have been generous with numbers for GEJ in North-west. I don't see how Jonathan can get up to 4 Million votes in North-east but I had to give him up to that number to be fair.
- Due to the insurgency in North-east, I reduced the number of voters for Buhari in the North-east. Buhari could have got 2-3 million more in the North-east but many voters have been displaced there.
- I have been conservative with Numbers of votes for Buhari in the North-west where indication shows that voters turn out could be between 80%-92%.
- Base on my assumption, I project total votes turnout to be around 53 Million out of 66 Million voters as published by INEC. I project around 13 Million voters to stay home. Looks reasonable. |

I have worked in a company that invited Tuface, Dbanj, Tiwa Savage and Shasha for a single end of year party. Each of them will charge not less than N2m. That has not included food, venue, etc. |

bidey4real: Mr Jarus sir!
As you're contributing your effort to help people out there, may God Almighty also ease your way to the greater height.
My questns goes thus: [1] Is it possible that an undergraduate student of Forest Resources Management(UI) with excellent CGP also benefit from scholarships?. Because, not seeing scholarship for agric-related course beat my heart.
[2] Is there any age restriction to scholarships for the Undergraduates and also for government jobs?
[3] kindly give us sir/ma,like 2 or 3 websites of effective scholarship board that a student of Forestry can apply to.
And lastly.... [4] Apart from government job, which other job can a graduate of Forest Resources Management apply for ?
Your response will assist alot. Thanks..... 1 and 2, I don't think there is age restriction on undergraduate scholarships. However, there is course restriction in most. It's been a while I left school, so can't answer these questions effectively. Most oil companies that give restriction include Agriculture, but I don't know whether forestry is covered. But there are a number of scholarships, like government scholarships, that don't specify courses, just "students in certain level(s) with higher than X CGPA" 3, I don't know anything about scholarship websites. You can google that. 4, There are some research institutes that are not government-funded. A 2.1 in any course can also get you test invite in non-course-specifying companies like banks, professional services firms (KPMG, PwC etc) and some consulting firm, like Accenture. But most of these have age restriction, usually less than 26. |

Kzinne: Not to detract from the topic sha. The op lives in ibadan and y'all all know how much land could cost there. Let the op come try this same stunt in Abuja or Lagos. If yours a builder you'll know putting up the structure isn't the issue. Land is the most expensive part. This is a bungalow and you don't have to break the bank to do that. So what is this supposed to mean? Does it take anything away from his being a landlord at such a young age? |

That is FRAUD by any means. It is a SCAM and any one who stands for INTEGRITY should not seek to minimise it or wash it away by reframing the thread and/or its content. Okay, "listed". Are you okay now? |

eleojo23: Most people think that Buhari is trying to come back as a military head of state. Well, the military era is gone and IF he should by any chance win, he is coming as a democratic president.
So don't expect a general who will come and dictate and 'flog' people as he likes, expect a president whose decisions are subject to the approval of the national assembly. No, we don't expect him to come back and whip erring citizens. What we need is political will of the leader, which we believe he has. Political will makes a huge difference, even in democracy. |

KLand: To be honest, I do not believe so; and I have my reasons. Then you're kidding. There are 19 states in the north. Muslims are the clear majority in all but 3 (Benue, Taraba and Plateau ). That's 16 states. There are significant Christian population, but hardly up to 50%, in Kaduna, Kwara, Kogi, Niger, Borno, Kebbi and Adamawa. In the South, Osun, Oyo and Lagos have not less than 50% Muslim population. Ogun, Ondo, Edo and Ekiti have significant Muslim population. Add 16 in the North and 3 in the south that have at least 50% Muslim, and that's 19 states out of 36 states, and you still don't agree with a most conservative estimate of 45%? |
Celebrities › Re: Top 5 Nollywood Stars Who Dumped Christianity For Islam by Jarus(m): 10:37pm On Dec 29, 2014 |
KLand: So good to know you know about the significant population of Christians in the North...... Take this out of the entire population of the north. The balance would be mostly moslems. Add it to to the rest of the moslem population in the rest parts of the country, do you still think it will come up to 80m? I have my doubts. The question is still simple: do you believe are up to 45% of Nigerian population? Simple and straightforward. Yes or no answer. |

Celebrities › Re: Top 5 Nollywood Stars Who Dumped Christianity For Islam by Jarus(m): 2:51pm On Dec 29, 2014 |
KLand: That's not what I am saying. But I know that the population of moslems in Nigeria is generally overrated.
We know there are more moslems in the North. But there are also more Christians in there than is generally known. I think one Femi Aribisala was aware of this when he wrote in one Vanguard article as follows:
"It must be pointed out that there are far more Christians in the North than many realise. Adamawa, Benue, Nassarawa, Plateau and Taraba all have majority Christian populations; while Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Kaduna, Kogi, Kwara and Niger have significant Christian populations."
I am sure many Nigerians don't know this statistics. Many ignorantly assume that all northern states are moslems. Funny how you are "not saying Muslims are not less than 45% of Nigerians" and don't agree Muslims are up to 80m What is the population of Nigerian? What is 45% of it? Is 45% of Nigeria's 175m population not 80m? As for your reference to Aribisala's point, I think only an unschooled person will not know that there are a significant Christian population in those states. It's no secret. It's common knowledge. Does it still stop the fact that not less than 45% of Nigerians are Muslim? |
Celebrities › Re: Top 5 Nollywood Stars Who Dumped Christianity For Islam by Jarus(m): 9:23am On Dec 29, 2014 |
KLand: Sorry the statistics is flawed. Pls don't overrate the population of moslems in Nigeria. So are you saying Muslims are not up to 45% of Nigerians minimum? |
