thank you OAM.

I dont blame all the people according Alaafin the preeminence seat on the race.....I only wish Eko had participated in the Kiriji war, descendants of sword wielding warlords would not today have mouth to argue about Oyo vs Ife. We would have canonballed all of you to surrender and youd paying homeage to Iga Idungaran today. Nonsense! angry
Chief, just connecting some dots, are you ffrom Duduyemi family of Ife?

Ibadan has always been underrated. I wonder why places like Kano, Kaduna and PH get better rating and attention than Ibadan.

Vikin: Does it make any sense to you?

No! It doesn't make any sense to me. Just a quick one to fame as some people practically think they can be famous by displaying their family and lives on a public forum just like the kadershian.

I wonder how they sit to type all these long epistle instead of doing something useful with time.....it's a different thing to type and another to act!

But, I just flip through it, and since it doesn't make sense to me, I hit the back bottom. Shikena!

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Three Vital Questions Employers Ask by Jarus(m): 4:38pm On Dec 14, 2012
Hayjaycity: Make all of una dey deceive unaself dey go, while senators's, commissioners' and ministers' children and families are coming from abroad to take up jobs which they were not even interviewed for, you are here rehearsing on how to pass an interview, if you like ave d best answer for the above questions, a commissioner's child will take the job from you, wherther he applied for the job or not. They are all in the UK expecting appointment letters from nigeria
This is one of the reasons people don't get jobs in Nigeria - self-defeat.

Less than 30% of job placements are by connection. You can be part of the 70% that get the job by merit.
Politics › Re: Is Sanusi Still Better Than Soludo? by Jarus(m): 10:16am On Dec 14, 2012
Jarus, i thought you would have defended SLS with all your power and might.
Or did you do so with your other moniker?
If you don't know my history, search for my Nairaland posts January - June 2009, and see I advocated that Soludo should continue, because I felt I didn't have problem with Soludo and was afraid we may not get another person of Soludo's ebullience, until Sanusi came into the fray.

As an Economist (economics graduate, actually) myself, I wont ndisrespect someone of Soludo's standing in the trade. I hold Soludo in awe, and have met him actually. Even in my tons of defence of SLS, I don't castigate Soludo, even if I felt he let down the guard in his last one year in office. He was brilliant and good intentioned, just as SLS. They only have different styles and focus.

My voracity in SLS defence was because I felt people were underrating him because of his tribe.

My conclusion on the duo remains: Soludo focused on strenght; SLS on ethics. I wont be drawn into some meaningless comparison about things like education, tribe etc here. Or how do you argue with someone that still believes SLS - with his indisputable intellect and courage - is an illiterate Mallam just because he never attended Harvard or had PhD? I don't argue with such people, I'm sorry.

The vendetta he did not carry out as a military presdient?

I've given up, since I can see all of you have irredeemably fallen for PDP propaganda.
Politics › Re: Is Sanusi Still Better Than Soludo? by Jarus(m): 8:54am On Dec 14, 2012
I'm a fan of both.

My summary is: Soludo focused on strenght, Sanusi on ethics.

No, it is official, at least for Forbes Africa.

Mfonobong worked briefly in my former company (Corporate Communications department) before joining Forbes Africa.

He was also the one that did Nigeria's Richest pastors, Wale Tinubu: King of African Oil etc for Forbes.

But in any case, like AJ put up there, career matters more.

I know someone that started and has all his career in bank but today is far better off than his friends that started in oil and gas in the same period.

okpara ugo: I give it to doctors with private hospitals.

I will make sure one of my kids who is medically inclined becomes a Radiologist/Radiographer, whatever name is best suited.

Mehn conductiong ultrasound for pregnant women is an oil spinner. These guys build architectural masterpieces of a home.

Secondly, executive level oil company jobs, telecoms, banking.

When it comes to the business world, i give it to transporters, manufacturers and cement dealers.
Not sure a radiographer, even with own hospital, earns up to an executive level oil compay person. Except by executive you don't mean directors or very senior managers.
