very unfortunate this happens all the time. its still happening somewhere and will still happen even with this being shown on TV.
first the woman is just wicked forgetting that she has a baby girl too and no one knows tomorrow. a sane grown woman to treat a child in such a manner is pure evil.
now wait, where's the hubby? he's culpable. he can't claim innocence since the child lives under him too.
he may have turned a blind eye for some reasons which may include:

these two basic reasons account for why many men foolishly fail to do right when their wives are involved in illtreating minors!
unfortunately many men marry and begin to bear children with careless abandon and try to blame the economy and buhari for their situation. bottomline is try to limit your offsprings to 1 or 2, there's no trophy for amassing a village and grumbling about it.

when you're emotionally upset or downcast your erection will not be total!

When I was young I use study maps and atlas and imagining my self traveling to all those countries

yup! if there's a need a wife should get a house help but I don't like to see the house help become basically everything ! wash cook serve clean and even "go and bring my phones" "gimme that bag on the centre table(just 6ft away from you)" "go and give drinking water to my husband" "where are you? come and pick this needle for me(because you can't bend down)" "check the food so it doesn't burn(you don't wanna miss a scene from the movie you're watching)" etc etc!

the point I was trying to bring out is in verse 14& 15 were Paul rent their clothes and vehemently insisted that they're mere mortals like them thereby refusing to be seen as extraordinary! they refused to be worshipped! unfortunate that these days reverse is the case as "men of God" now see themselves above others! the mere mention of their names send their followers shivering!

You don't get it. It's because of write-ups like this that make men think they have the right to mess around. The society has more or less given them the free hand to cheat since the blame goes back to their wives. How many articles about how to be good husbands have you seen before? Are men so perfect themselves? Why can't they work on themselves to make their marriages work? I'm not raising my daughter to live her life massaging a man's bloated ego neither will I raise my son to believe that a woman's sole purpose on earth is to 'keep him'. Long and short of my epistle, just value your partner and treat them the way you want to be treated, that shouldn't be so hard.

I am a lecturer, so I feel I can comment from experience.
Trust me, most of the ladies hating on that man deserve to fail. Students no longer wish to study, they only seek the easy way out. If an unscrupulous lecturer wishes to give them the easy way out in exchange for cash or sex, I don't think he alone shud bear the blame for being tempted.
I just finished administering my exams. After each paper, a horde of ladies keep calling me and saying the same thing; "sir, I did not write well in ur course, pls help me". Of course they get the same answer; " no problem, come back and rewrite it next year " the general opinion of students towards me is that I am wicked and mean, just because I refuse to help them cheat. If I ask them for sex or cash now in exchange for a pass mark, they will still say I am randy, corrupt and greedy and that I failed them intentionally. Can u now see the lecturer's dilemma?
I find it hard to believe that a lecturer will intentionally fail a student that deserve to pass (I might be wrong though), but for me, everyone knows I have a soft spot for the brilliant students in my classes, male or female. I overlook some minor exam offences they might commit, while I wont brook any nonsense from the others in the crowd.

Really i wish not to draw flak from a people but honestly sir you need to visit the eastern parts specially the SE, it has become a norm and lecturers there have given themselves away to corruption!
Lots of them are blatant, they dont hide their desire to make money and collect in kind!
Coupled with the shamelessness of the ladies who even flaunt it in your face that they sleep around to pass!
Sir, just visit the places ive mentioned and spend 3 weeks i am sure you will see the case first hand!
Those who desire to work hard are frustrated because the lazy unintelligient ones have obershadowed them!
