This Kanu guy stayed in Britain and wants to adopt the British ruling style; divide and rule. That is to pitch the Christian Biafran against the traditionalist Biafran
I believe he believes Igbos are Jews not Christians! he said to build a "temple" not a church...I suppose there's a difference
PoliticsRe: Idol Worshiping Faithfuls Are The Ones Delaying Biafra From Materialising - Kanu by jaszplus12(m): 11:03am On Sep 05, 2017
I once heard that once a person becomes bereft of ideas he holds on to religion as basis for his "struggle"
I think about Martin Luther King, even though he was a pastor he never used religious ideology or doctrine to earn his status or fuel his struggle against racism! even till the end! yet his words are engraved today in almost every heart..."I have a dream...". "I'm free, free at last!"
watch Nnamdi's body language and expression ...his eyes as he speaks are very shifty, never looks into the camera...that tells a lot about him...ask the psychologists!

I don't think this Kanu is in his right senses. I'm sorry if his loyalists are touched.

You were unsuccessful with your Biafra and now you're coming up with religious crisis again. Stick to one now
oh religion!! now it's because idol worship is rife that's why objectives are not attainedhuh

Yet another dumb write-up pinning the blame of philandering men on their wives. NOTHING JUSTIFIES INFIDELITY. It takes two to make a marriage work, not just the woman only. God forbid I go out of my way to try and please a cheating horseband. Every time women are given tip after tip on how to how to be a good wife "keep her husband", when will men start getting such tips? Oh! I forgot, keeping the marriage is the sole responsibility of the woman. The man can misbehave as he likes, when he knows he's being prayed for. Rubbish!

Men are getting too indiscipline and irresponsible in this part of the world these days. They know they won't be held responsible for their idiotic habits, because of idiotic write-ups like this.
I truly wish you won't get so angry. fact is, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion and anyone who cares can "take" the OPs advice. you just realize that when a marriage is great with faithful couples the ones with infidelity in mind become jealous! let them choose their path!!!
you hear?

I am a lecturer, so I feel I can comment from experience.
Trust me, most of the ladies hating on that man deserve to fail. Students no longer wish to study, they only seek the easy way out. If an unscrupulous lecturer wishes to give them the easy way out in exchange for cash or sex, I don't think he alone shud bear the blame for being tempted.
I just finished administering my exams. After each paper, a horde of ladies keep calling me and saying the same thing; "sir, I did not write well in ur course, pls help me". Of course they get the same answer; " no problem, come back and rewrite it next year " the general opinion of students towards me is that I am wicked and mean, just because I refuse to help them cheat. If I ask them for sex or cash now in exchange for a pass mark, they will still say I am randy, corrupt and greedy and that I failed them intentionally. Can u now see the lecturer's dilemma?

I find it hard to believe that a lecturer will intentionally fail a student that deserve to pass (I might be wrong though), but for me, everyone knows I have a soft spot for the brilliant students in my classes, male or female. I overlook some minor exam offences they might commit, while I wont brook any nonsense from the others in the crowd.
I was very happy when I saw your comments sir! Really there are many who are like you and may God continue to be your guide.
Really i wish not to draw flak from a people but honestly sir you need to visit the eastern parts specially the SE, it has become a norm and lecturers there have given themselves away to corruption!
Lots of them are blatant, they dont hide their desire to make money and collect in kind!
Coupled with the shamelessness of the ladies who even flaunt it in your face that they sleep around to pass!
Sir, just visit the places ive mentioned and spend 3 weeks i am sure you will see the case first hand!
Those who desire to work hard are frustrated because the lazy unintelligient ones have obershadowed them!
Sir, keep up wit your good work!!

I keep seeing guys rant about girls being slay mamas, gold diggers, oloshos and so many vulgar words used to qualify women nowadays... Well, I don't blame them. If only girls of this generation would love God, work hard, get developed morally, acquire skills to boost their self confidence, then maybe... You'll see a man as a "bonus" and not a "goal".
People these days have misplaced priorities. In the beginning, it wasn't so. The first thing God gave man (Adam) was work before giving him a woman (Eve). The first thing God gave a woman was a man (Adam).
It's such a shame the tables have turned around. A lot of men get married for convenience not love. Women now work their asses out just to meet up to a man's standard. No!!! You're not supposed to do that... Your goal is to be virtuous... Not rich!!! Read about the qualities of a virtuous woman. A man is supposed to love and a woman is supposed to submit.
Therefore, if a man has got no job, cannot provide for you, is not in God's presence, cannot make you better, doesn't have vision... It is VERY good for that man to be ALONE... Sister, leave him alone!!! Otherwise, he shouldn't be alone.
Likewise, sisters if you don't have your " default settings" intact, don't expect to get a "default settings" man.
Even with all the "sweet nothing's" a man has to say to you, you still need the spirit of discernment.
Being single won't kill you. Getting married won't heal you either. Waiting on God is NEVER a waste of time. Because at the end, God is still the CENTRE of it all. Somehow, someway, you'd need him to fix it all for you.
So on my bended knees, I lift my hands up to heaven and boldly declare that I surrender my need for love, my desire for companionship. I give up trying to be lovable and decide to trust God with all of my heart. This is my confession. Amen.
PS: Never let societal pressure push you into the hands of the wrong one. Stop being desperate because "your mates" are getting married. Do you also know "your mates" are dying everyday?? Focus on being a better person and be grateful to God for life.

Shalom.
amen amen Amen...
man, see to the interest of the woman, woman see to the interest of the man...
let's help ourselves...
Almighty Creator, may your purpose for creating humans love and companionship be fulfilled! amen

It pains me so much that most secondary schools colleges of education and universities in eastern Nigeria have such "lecturers"!
Hardly you find students that have scaled through unscathed! Its either money or your body!
And unfortunately many ladies are VERY willing to give their bodies just to pass!
When it becomes the norm, then the honest ones are in trouble! The result? Under baked and half baked "graduates"!!
Its a very sorry situation that needs to be dealt with severely else the future of education will be bleak!
Go to the college of education ikwo and see the level of victimization! You will weep for the students!
Karma is a bitch the saying goes...
Nemesis will soon catch up with them...
May we help ourselves!!!!

painful that humans will take another and sell or engage in unsavoury activities! what a life!
mostly parents are to blame. even with warnings and experiences from others many are still gullible and silly enough to allow their kids be taken away!
why give birth to children you can't feed? how much and most times how low can you go to sell your own very offspring for cash or favour?
someone pointed at buhari govt, has this not been going on even when the economy was "better" under previous administrationhuh

Those of you saying leave home, where to? Your parents know how the labour market is right now and it's only psychotic parents that will expect their kids to leave home after NYSC. No wonder most youths end up doing fraudulent activities, squatting with people who don't want them and being treated like nonentities. Where you are going to live, ain't you going to contribute anything? So why not do same at home?

It is the responsibility of parents to care for their children, provide security for them. Nothing is ever too much for your kids, until a child find his way in life, a parent is responsible. Too bad African parents breed kids to care for them when they grow, irrespective of their financial capabilities.

What you need to do is to start acting like an adult living at home. Go and find some manual jobs, volunteer in churches, foundations anywhere they need help. Ask if your parents need help with anything, repair jobs, errands etc...

The menial jobs you do here and there will allow you have pocket money so not to depend on your parents for little things. As long as you have a roof and food, you can save money and re-strategize.

Just don't be lazy staying at home, simple!
Lemme say this, and pardon me that I may not agree with you on your first few points.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed. As a human you know you're going to leave your parents some day, should u then wait til the day dawns on you?
Don't say its cos some parents chased their kids out that's the cause if their criminal minds and acts far from that...and I guess you know it. As a guy (especially) plan your exit right from your first days as undergrad...
Show them you can be responsible. Funny that an undergrad can toast a babe and behave in adult manner towards her yet still wanna be spoon fed because he's undergraduate!! Here's what I mean, if you can have a galfriend then you should also be responsible enough to earn a living!! There are exceptions though... Eg force majure!

Dear New graduate, don't ever go back to your father's house after service. What are you coming back to do? For them to continue feeding your ass? Nah! This is what happens when we devote all our time and energy in the library without an attempt to break the matrix. As an undergraduate, start preparing for the future. Start saving.. The world is not smiling, your parents are not even smiling.

If as an undergraduate and you still ask for haircut money, cream, blah blah blah.. you're hopeless. Start learning the act of independency.

Things will be easier when you become totally independent.

Good luck. smiley
You took the words right outta my mouth!!!
But for emphasis you should have written in BLOCK LETTERS!!
1) AS AN UNDERGRADUATE START PREPARING TO LIVE INDEPENDENT
2)DONT GO BACK TO YA MAMA AND PAPA HOUSE TO EAT THEIR FOOD EXCEPT BY INVITATION
3)LOOK FOR A BABE FROM AS AN UNDERGRADUATE THAT WILL HELP ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS SO YOU WILL FROM THAT TIME HAVE A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY
4)DONT LOOK BACK....MOOOOOVVVEEEE FORWARD!!!
