The satellite's sister craft Voyager 1 will wander interstellar space for a mere 40,000 years before it passes by the star AC+79 3888, in the constellation of Camelopardalis.
Already Voyager 2 is 10 billion miles (16 billion kilometres) from Earth at the edge of the heliosheath where our Sun finally runs out of steam.
In this outermost layer of the heliosphere the solar wind, which streams out from the Sun, is slowed by the pressure of interstellar gas.
NASA engineers sent a coded instruction to Voyager 2 to change course but even travelling at the speed of light the instruction took 14 hours to reach the satellite.
The change allows engineers to reduce the amount of power that the 38-year-old spacecraft needs to operate by turning off the heater that keeps the fuel to the primary thrusters warm.
Although the rate of energy generated by Voyager 2's nuclear power source continues to decline, by reducing its power requirements, engineers expect the spacecraft will continue to operate, and communicate with Earth, for at least another decade.

I agree. the best way to boost confidence positively in a child is to first give it to him at HOME! lots of fathers and mothers wait til a child makes a mistake or forgets a chore then they tongue lash that child! what stops you from ANTICIPATING the mistake or forgetfulness?
a 10 year old isn't as perfect as you a 35year old! it takes practice to get to that level.
we need to have a look at ourselves and change the attitudes we have.
a mother will sit and keep a child on his/her toes just sending left and right. now tell me how the child will feel? and what does he have in mind as he grows to adulthood? a boy will definitely believe mothers are built like that! therefore his wife should sit and send!!
a couple means doing ALL things together and looking at how things should be done to attract minimum emotional and physical friction!

I bet there are among the listed those playing regularly and are match fit. My thoughts are we tend to use players based on names rather than performance

this is the most sensible comment thus far...we're too sentimental and our players know that. the players listed are very unfit and mostly match rusty for the game yet they're "stars"! except for few guys like Moses iheanacho and prolly ighalo most others are just training materials in their clubs yet our national team managers invite them!
do you think if a Mourinho or Guardiola were in charge here we will have these kinda players behaving like they own the nation? look at the discipline of the Cameroon team...I just dey shiver. tall no nonsense defenders and forceful attackers...

Fasten your seatbelts and hold on tight as one of the largest asteroids hovering in the neighbourhood will go past earth on September 1. The asteroid called Florence is named in the honour of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. The asteroid was discovered by Schelte Bus at an observatory in Australia in March 1981. Florence is 4.4 km in size and will be the largest asteroid to pass this close to earth ever since NASA had started a programme to detect and track asteroids 20 years back.
The asteroid will be seven million km away from earth which is 18 times the distance between earth and moon. It will be visible to small telescopes for several nights in late August and early September. There have many cases of asteroids passing close to earth but are estimated to be small in size as compared to Florence.
The last time Florence had passed this close to earth was 127 years back in 1890. As per the TOI report, NASA said that Florence will be an excellent target to ground based radar observations.
Notably, any asteroid larger than one km could be a reason for a planet-wide catastrophe. As per TOI report, NASA claims that there are over 880 rocks buzzing in the vicinity. Florence is among the largest of them all. If the asteroid crashes into the earth it would be an ‘Avada Kedavara’ for humanity. Earlier, in 2013, a meteor had crashed in Russia’s Chelyabinsk. The rock was about 20m and weighed 10,000 tonnes. Serious injuries and widespread damage occurred after the crash.
Meanwhile, on October 12, asteroid 2012 TC4 will pass within 50,100 km of the earth. Thankfully, the space rock is just 15 m and so there won’t be any danger.
