Christians are not mandated to pay tithe. We are free in Christ and all our givings should be as the Spirit leads else we are empty professors.

Any church that is collecting tithe is not only robbing you but placing you under the curse of the law. It says for all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Galatians 3:10.

There are 613 laws that are to be kept to be right with God. No man kept these except Christ. And through His death we are free from the rule and condemnation of the law. If Christ has freed you from the Law why do you still entangle yourself with its yoke, bringing yourself under bondage and condemnation by obeying wicked men who only want to fleece you for their gain?

Isn't Christ enough? Don't you trust the Spirit of Christ to lead you? Isn't Christ your righteousness, the reason you stand justified before God is it because you pay tithe (keep 1 of 613 laws)? or because you believe in Jesus Christ?

you just described me. honestly I find it hard to cry and somehow I see the weeping of others especially when I'm directly involved as mine so I find my eyes dry though deep inside me I feel pain. I'm very emotional when I see someone share kindness or love ...I shed a tear or two but not weeping and wailing...

yup! if there's a need a wife should get a house help but I don't like to see the house help become basically everything ! wash cook serve clean and even "go and bring my phones" "gimme that bag on the centre table(just 6ft away from you)" "go and give drinking water to my husband" "where are you? come and pick this needle for me(because you can't bend down)" "check the food so it doesn't burn(you don't wanna miss a scene from the movie you're watching)" etc etc!

the point I was trying to bring out is in verse 14& 15 were Paul rent their clothes and vehemently insisted that they're mere mortals like them thereby refusing to be seen as extraordinary! they refused to be worshipped! unfortunate that these days reverse is the case as "men of God" now see themselves above others! the mere mention of their names send their followers shivering!

The society has more or less given them the free hand to cheat since the blame goes back to their wives. How many articles about how to be good husbands have you seen before? Are men so perfect themselves? Why can't they work on themselves to make their marriages work? I'm not raising my daughter to live her life massaging a man's bloated ego neither will I raise my son to believe that a woman's sole purpose on earth is to 'keep him'. Long and short of my epistle, just value your partner and treat them the way you want to be treated, that shouldn't be so hard.
