Business › Re: Her Fasting Is Affecting My Business. Pls Help by jaybee3(m): 5:16am On Jun 20, 2015 |
What's wrong with you people (majority of the posters) for heaven sake? As an employer, you have a responsibility to ensure duty of care is entrenched in your business processes. It's not unreasonable to expect you to be flexible by recognising and acknowledging her physical strength would be affected due to ramadan period.
Would you have complained or sacked her if she was pregnant?
Besides, I don't think you clearly defined her role from the onsent. In your own words, she is meant to complement when necessary. This to me doesn't explicitly state that's her job description as it's a role to be assumed as at when there is the need.
Anyhoo, have a 1-2-1 session with her to find the best way forward that will meet both of your needs.
PS: Maybe you need to revist your business model if as evident you are having to deal with increase demand for your services. Perhaps, what you need is another man (positive discrimination is allowed for manual jobs) instead of hiring a female with less physical attributes
Good luck |

This i like...
"As a prelude to setting up his administration, Buhari has reportedly handed over the 800-page Transition Committee Report to a trusted team of his associates, headed by former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola; former Ekiti governor, Kayode Fayemi and others to reduce into a sizable and workable document.
Fashola is being tipped to emerge as Chief of Staff to the President because of his pedigree as a former Chief of Staff, governor and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria."
Shows he truly understand the need to delegate where and when necessary |

Politics › Re: Fayose’s Govt Owing Only May Salary – Ekiti Gov by jaybee3(m): 10:24am On Jun 18, 2015 |
onatisi: yes , some state govt has reasonable excuse to, and I think the article has explained the reasonable excuse of the ekiti state govt. So why then should this be treated differently if as expected the situation will continuously be getting worse for states that rely heavily on federal allocation to meet the financial responsibilities of their staff? This is just basic maths bro.. If the dwindling allocation puts them in a negative financial state at the end of month one, surely the negative will increase if the allocation stays the same or reduce further (It’s obvious it can’t increase since oil prices are still hovering around the $60 mark). Basically, Fayose is already in the same state regardless of how many months he is currently owing. The situation is not isolated and they should get together to find a lasting solution |

Rad1cal: Stop trying to be too smart cos it won't do you much good. Limitation here had to do with governance. Buhari referenced it in terms of leadership in a much younger age.
Don't be another Adesina Bottom line is, he isn't a superman and we shouldn't expect him to perform miracles. Everyone needs help irrespective of their age hence the reason why they have advisers on specific technical issues. Anyhoo, we go siddon watch |
Politics › Re: Buhari's Age Limitation: Nigerians Mock Femi Adesina by jaybee3(m): 9:02am On Jun 18, 2015 |
Rad1cal: Stop being daft. Buhari said his age is a limitation, emphasis is on the word limitation. Yet the learning spokesman likened him to an old wine whose Performance isn't LIMITED but enhanced with better taste.
You and Abugab need to hide your sorry heads in shame. I'm not holding brief for Buhari but limitation can mean anything to different age groups. It's a no-brainer to expect him to have reduced physical conditioning due to his age but that isn't necessarily a key factor needed for providing good governance or is it? |

I guess that's supposed to be some sort of relief that it's only a month's salary compared to others....
These people are just wicked mehn...
Why won't civil service be laden with corruption if staff aren't being paid and continuously forced to find alternative source of income to survive
These workers have family that most times also depend on the meagre income
Something is seriously wrong with Nigeria and they should stop playing politics with people's lives! |

MzJackBaueress: Sacking 13000 workers and throwing them into the labour market? Are you sure Wike is ready to govern his state or he's just witch hunting Amaechi and let Rivers people suffer?
Its too early to create enemies for yourself Mr. Wike! Its just too early! I think we ought to be asking for his reason for the massive sack. Consolidation to increase efficiency and streamline bloated civil service should be encouraged especially during this difficult financial period we managed to find ourselves in. I’m pretty sure it’s a witch-hunt exercise but then again we should give him the benefit of the doubt |

cococandy: Let's agree to disagree.
For me it's clear cut. If I cheat on my man with any of our male house helps, I expect to be blamed totally for it. And Vice versa. Do you think it's easy to solve a problem without finding the reason for the problem? Yes you can absorb the blame but that doesn't mean the dude shouldn't find where he failed as a man |
Family › Re: Men Sleeping With Their House Maids...who's To Blame? by jaybee3(m): 3:46pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
cococandy: I'm not talking divorce here.
I'm just asking plain and simple of it is ok to blame the man when his wife cheats on him because he's not meeting up to his roles as a husband.
If they can say it's the wife's fault that the man cheated with the maid and can't say the same when the wife does it with some guy helping the husband with his duties, then it is plain hypocrisy and of course just as excuse to justify bad behavior.
As always. Anyone that fails with their primary responsibility deserves some sort of blame. It's as simple as that |

Buncha hypocrites some of you are. What's their to answer again when it's evident that financial pressure is one of the single most important reason for divorce |
