At the risk of sounding like a flip-flop,I am reverting back to my position that Ashley Young signing was a fraudulent one.
Absolutely unnecessary and a waste of resources that could have been used judiciously elsewhere.
Ashley Young at best is average. No need to debate that.He hasn't managed to replicate his early season form.
He wasn't what we needed.Simples.
A team is meant to improve not consolidate
At best, the signing was more for consolidation as he wouldn't have been able to help improve our rating in europe.

* Without wishing to slam on about this, the midfield mismatch was a consequence of United's dealings in the transfer market over the summer. This deficiency in the middle wasn't because of United's admittedly lengthy injury list, as the pairing of Giggs and Carrick was one that you could easily imagine Ferguson picking even with a full-strength squad at his disposal. To repeat the point - in the summer, United needed at least one top-class specialist central midfielder before they required a promising centre-back or a winger they didn't really need. They didn't buy one, and they are suffering for it now.
The old man doesn't want to adapt to current footie dynamics. We just simply can't continue riding on the 4-4-2 system. If we are to continue doing that then we need horses that will be able to run all day in the midfield.
I still don't get the signing of Ashley Young. I probably never will

Oh you are fed up of playing the short memory game, now its the dumb memory game time innit, for you to now publicly state that you were only there INNOCENTLY to share the same sentiment as someone cursing Dr Balogun, Prince-onx, Busybosy, Jennykadry, Ifyalways and co, wow, how clever of you, pat yourself on the back!

Ok I take your word for it that the bullying of Rokiatu and one young slim lady like that sitting behind some office desk, as well as the covert picking on cuddlemii that SPANNED DAYS, did not happen in your section. You are a Moderator, how would you feel if Ivynwa comes to a thread to dredge up something someone did over a year ago and blame you for not dealing with it, blames the SuperMod for not dealing with it, then also blames Seun too. No one was exempt from her attack, cos she also blames the Chaircovers and Mutters for sitting on the fence and me that dealt with it a bully. What more does she want, obviously she feels she can do a better job than all y'all, innit undecided And this is not the only time she has done this, so why allow her to keep shouting thief thief, lets burn the thief and bullying someone 9 years younger than her cool
Yes i am a moderator and i definitely don't allow my feelings cloud my judgements when it comes to dealing with NL matters. All the excesses on the said thread where things not necessarily related to the thread and i would have just removed them immediately i saw them if it was under my section.

Yes i'm hardheaded and old but i still maintain that you don't treat addicts with psychology or whatnot. you treat them by going hard.
Each responsible government try to prevent things happening by including the effects on drug and sex education in school curriculum at early stages so children can make informed choices.
Once they bypass age that they can be easily influenced then the obvious solution is to attack the source rather than dealing with prevention.

I know you like to argue and it's making me lipsrsealed

I'm actually going against my better judgement here but will give you a bit of my precious time.
How on earth have you managed to interpret agreeing to sentiments to me supporting the curses or what not that was being thrown about on the thread

It appears to me albeit on the surface that you are most probably harbouring a lot of hatred in what's supposed to be a sacred heart. My advice as a fellow human being is to let things go. Find peace within yourself and stop bringing up things that happened eon years ago.

I'm not putting down psychological therapy or what not. Just saying it's far fetched when dealing with addiction. You can do all that therapy ish when they are not addicted.
For crying out loud sistas, why do they treat heroine addicts with methadone? Why don't they just get into their psyche and drill into their numbskull that any drug is bad beit recreational or medicinal (side effects)

rehab = psychological treatment bro.  undecided
majority of the '12 step program' IS psychological. Ask mr.cork  grin

but on a serious note, stomach stapling is the equivalent to removing part of someone's lung or harmful particles from the trachea as a result of years of smoking. Those are simply means to cure the PHYSICAL effects of their habits. But had someone reached "inside" and touched them psychologically there would be no need for that. As both eating and smoking are like s3x. . . they serve as stress relief and can be addicting.

Addiction is MENTAL.  cool

So you are basically saying psychological treatment works better than rehab?
Ok let's try one more scenario, how come medically obese people are treated by stomach stapling instead of asking them to calorie watch once they are addicted to food?

Guys you all have the right to be ignorant and angry. Your CBN goernor is telling you things are falling apart, Managers of the nations finances are saying we need to change the way we do things and you think the President should ignore all of this and continue business as usual? This decision may be biting, it has created difficulty but we may just need to talk this matter through. Abuses and anger wouldn't solve our problems, it would compound them.
Yes everyone must suffer to make things better but why can't they just lead by example? Why must they run a bloated government but yet expect the poor masses to suffer a bit so as to get to the promise land.

How come drug dealers get the harsher sentences?
How come the US govt spent billions of $ since they started the campaign of war on drugs by attacking the source?

No one group is more guilty than the other but it's fair to say that if something is not available then it ain't gonna be sourced
CareerRe: Effective Career Planning; What Are Your Plans For 2012? by jaybee3(m): 3:28pm On Jan 03, 2012
AjanleKoko:
None of the above.
People need to go back to being doctors, engineers, teachers, etc.
No more easy money from certifications.
Do we have shortage of these skills? What's the point in people acquiring same skills that they will never use due to the economy in which they compete in. It's like advising people to continue studying to be an electronic engineer in the UK when the country itself is far loosing jobs to places where cheap labour is the order of the day.

Young Nigerians should focus less on prestige of a degree and worry more about the chances they stand in getting a job in whatever career they choose to embark on. This should normally be the deciding factor when people choose careers.
