@Gbawe
Ok let me get this right, are you basically saying Nigerians should only frown at the government because they are the ones providing the enabling environment for them cabals to flourish?
Everything wrong with Nigeria has everything to do with Nigerians. It's now OK to attack the governement but fine to ignore those that get reach at the expense of their fellow citizens. |

If you can't let it go as well as learning how to trust him again then save yourself the heartache by just breaking up with him.
No point being in a relationship and having a lingering doubt at the back of your mind about where is @ or what he has done at all times.
On the flip side though, you can always go and get the cherry popped as well if you aren't going to attach much sentimental value to it going forward. |

^^^^ Is he not part of the cabals assertion by the previous poster to me means he is part of a cabal just not the petrol subsidy cabal. He is part of the cabal in lagos state isn't he. We aren't going to get anywhere with selective scrutiny |

Gbawe: Ekt Bear, nothing wrong with what you said but I feel you kinda respect the likes of Otedola for their "business achievement" because of your personal interest in business, economics and money. Sorry if it seems I was rude but I despise the likes of Otedola.
The truth is that these people are nothing but Vultures. Whatever they have gained has 100% being achieved by abuse of political powers. I can't admire folks like that because whatever they have accumulated was at the expense of Nigeria and has created the awful society we have where many live like animal while a few are stupendously wealthy. We all saw OBJ attempting to sell refineries to Otedola and Dangote for pittance before Yar Adua reversed that odious nonsense.
A large percentage of our leaders were failures in the diaspora . Andy Uba was declared bankrupt in the USA. !!!! Today, thanks to OBJ, he is a billionaire with "numerous" business interest. Ibori had criminal record in the UK from when he worked as a cashier for a DIY (do it yourself) firm. Now we all know how filthy rich he is with "numerous" business interests. I personally know a former Governor who drove a taxi in the UK before going to "try his luck" in Nigeria. The rest, as they say, is history. Many of them are nothing but hustlers.
Disgustingly, all that the Otedola's of the world ecel at , first and foremost, is cronyism. There is no innate talent in them and we indeed see them hovering shamelessly around every President be it OBJ, Yar Adua or GEJ. They are the ones, along with their political benefactors, preventing Nigeria from developing into a merit-based society where talent shines.
Some of us who have made successes of our lives in the diaspora, because of the merit-based system we benefitted from, want that for our fellow Nigerians. That alone makes me resent the likes of Otedola and Dangote who are alway fronts for the government of the day and benefit from the monopoly that political powers create for them. Fayoshe |

Is education good? => Yes
Is education a guarantee for success? => No, but it can open doors that are otherwise closed to non educated
Is education necessary these days? => It depends on the country you live in. The earning gap of educated and non educated people is closer than ever and with that in mind one has to make sure you study a course that's in demand to as to be able to get the benefits of the investment
Is education financially viable? => Getting a quality education is by no mean cheap and you aren't necessarily guaranteed to be able to break even before the retirement age
Above all, if you decide to be educated then please make sure you are investing in something worth your while. |

freecocoa: Jay love,its a big LIE not even rumor,anyways that's not what my problem is,all i need you to understand is that,that list of yours does not define a promiscuous girl,especially cos I'm capable of all that even though I'm an introvert but I ain't promiscuous. Makes you an anomaly then love. That's allowed in statistics It's called margin of error My assertions are based on own perspective (albeit not well informed as you've claimed) and popular belief |

Mrs, Chima: Op
Are you asking why men prefer non-virgins more than virgins regarding marriage? You have to take in consideration that being a virgin is like finding a diamond in a pile of poo in today's society. I am not saying there is something wrong with being a virgin or non-virgin, but we are in an era where we can choose to be with whomever we want to be and some people are stuck in the era where society used to dictate who should marry whom.
There are more non-virgins in this world than virgins and most likely non-virgins will have the highest marriage rate. Now, some men have professed that they prefer virgin women and often seek virgins to "devirginized" but many of these men are interested in being the first guy to break the cherry.
Many of those non-virgin girls were virgin girls who were victims of Cherry Busters. We need to find out why those girls had or have multiple sex partners, many girls are victim of sex abuse and often time replicate that behavior out of trauma.
As much mess most men talk, they prefer a wild woman in bed and lady in the streets. If they can get that they are sold. Maybe it is a stereotype that "good" girls are boring in bed and in life. Who knows but let thank God, they are marrying instead of humping around! |

freecocoa: Okay dear I think you've stayed away far too long,you need to come back home.
Where did you get that redeem won't wed you if you aren't a virgin? That's absolute,pure,blatant,big,fat and outrageous LIE,in this our very nigeria? that's the best joke I've heard or read this year. Tell me they won't wed you if you are pregnant,I'd agree not the former.
And no I'm not saying churches OK sexx before marriage,I'm saying that churches don't term girls"promiscuous" because they possess the characteristics you listeed. ain't no rumour but it will be hard to substantiate my claim as well |

freecocoa: Who the F is Dr firearm? Is his church the only one in nigeria?
That's the problem with believing everything you see on the tv and especially NL,yes nigeria is a religious country no doubt but that doesn't mean everyone in it has lost his\her common sense,believe it or not many people do things their own ways,the so called preachers this days have even realized that people are no longer that naïve and nigeria is certainly moving ahead with the world in certain areas like religion,many churches have come to accept christianity the way a white man sees it. Let me get this right, Are you saying it's now OK by the church for the members to practice sex before marriage? Do you know you can't get married at redeem churches if you aren't a Virgin? |
Romance › Re: Why Do Promiscuos Girls Find Husbands Easily? by jaybee3(m): 2:49pm On Jan 10, 2012 |
freecocoa: Now if I clearly understand what you wrote up there I'd say that's a LIE ,it would be acceptable to say some nigerians(very few these days) believe that any girl who possesses the listed characteristics is promiscuous,believe me the listed is not even a criteria to know a promiscuous girl anymore in the present Nigeria cos you have girls flaunting what they got in churches,you see churches match making people,you have sexx educators in church who teach how the koko is eaten etc.
I still maintain that the only reason to term a girl"promiscuous" is if you are certain she shares sexx indiscriminately not because she is out spoken,exposed,out going or has a great fashion sense. Are we talking about traditional churches or the likes of Dr Fireman? I hope you know Nigeria is still a very religious country whereby things are usually done not by common sense but by what the pastor or Imam teaches in the respective religious houses |

freecocoa: Haba jay you don fall my hand o,well a promiscuous girl in the most common sense of it,is a girl who mingles indiscriminately especially by having sexx with multiple partners on a casual basis.
Now why I said "promiscuous" isn't the right word to use is cos a girl can possess all the characteristics you listed without having multiple sexx partners or don't you believe so? I believe so but in Nigerian standards and point of view, it's almost certain for those tagged as non promiscuous to be born-again. Nigeria being an overly religious country with tons of followers leaving their daily life according to words written in their chosen sacred books will most certainly not have any of the characteristics I outline in my earlier posts else they are had just be sorry pretenders |

manny4life: Yeah I can understand why you failed economics in school, but it's cool, Use the multiplier effect theory in this scenario, NO it's not only 9,600 jobs probably 3x of that amount when you consider all the factors from manufacturing (i.e. if the cars was manufactured in Nigeria by IVM), to inspection, Quality, delivery/logistics, Driving, periodic Maintenance, etc. Nigeria is not a structured country Mr, Them things just don't apply when you talking about multiplier effects. If anything providing more cars on the road will only continue to contribute to the fast decaying state of federal/state roads. |

Are you ready to start fishing out your brother/sisters/uncles/neighbours living above their means? Are you ready to start recalling your councillors/reps/senators that aren't performing?
