PoliticsFashola Spent Public Fund On Quality Projects–APC Lagos by Jeboy(op):
The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State has defended former Governor Babatunde Fashola over an allegation that the former governor misappropriated public funds.

The APC described the contracts awarded by Fashola while in office as a reflection of his love for quality jobs.

The APC spokesperson in the state, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, in a telephone conversation with our correspondent on Thursday, asked the public to stop castigating Fashola for the amount of money he spent on execution of projects while on office.

Igbokwe described the recent criticisms trailing the contracts awarded by the former governor as the handiwork of the opposition.

He said, “Fashola is not a hut builder. So, he built a bridge for N29bn? You can decide to build a bridge for N5bn. Anybody who is interested in standards can build a bridge for N100bn.

“There are grades for everything; it depends on the way you want to look at it. It shows Fashola believes in standards.”

A report on the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency had stated that Fashola spent N139bn on two boreholes at the Lagos House; N175m to replace the railings of a pedestrian bridge on Carter Bridge from Ido to Idumota with concrete railings and N1.2bn on the construction of an unidentified multi-storey building in Onikan, Lagos.

Fashola also recently came under fire for spending N78.3m of taxpayers’ money on the upgrade of his personal website, www.tundefashola.com.

Brock Lesnar lost in controversial fashion at SummerSlam to Undertaker

The bout with the top spot belongs to ‘The Phenom’ and ‘The Beast Incarnate’. The chants of “Suplex City” and “Undertaker” rang out from the time the opening bell rang and they continued throughout this match.

What some fans perhaps believed would be just a re-hash of WrestleMania 30 turned into something much more as The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar proved what two main event veterans can truly do when given the spotlight on a worldwide stage.

This match had many entertaining moments, as both men brought their best. From Taker mocking Lesnar’s laughter to The Deadman taking three F-5’s, no one can deny the intensity was definitely present. But what stands out perhaps more than anything about this match was the ending.

As the referee was checking Lesnar’s shoulders on the mat, Taker was tapping out due to the Kimura Lock. This was not seen however and the match continued. Taker locked in the Hell’s Gate submission and Brock flipped him the middle finger before “passing out” in the ring.

The finish may not have been what fans wanted, but it sets up a third match and definitely stands out as SummerSlam’s most memorable moment.

Seth Rollins beat John Cena to have both the WWE champion and The United States Champion. This dude has a way of winning match through external influence, I can see triple H playing games here.

See analysis and commentary below:

Jon Stewart shocked the world at SummerSlam When John Stewart and Seth Rollins began their tongue-in cheek rivalry, fans all over the world sat back and had a nice chuckle. The pairing was a good one, as the smarmy and somehwat neurotic Rollins was constantly being mocked by the clever and sarcastic Stewart.

Seth was an easy target for the former Daily Show host and it became very apparent that both men were having fun with it. But that fun turned to shock for fans when Stewart decided to betray John Cena and help Seth get the win at SummerSlam.

Even though the New York crowd was cheering Rollins and booing Cena, the fact is John was the babyface of the contest. When Stewart hit him with a steel chair, he helped the heel get the win.

By definition, he heeled out himself and now fans are left wondering why in the world this happened in the first place. Seth Rollins is now the United States and WWE world heavyweight champion and he has Jon Stewart to thank for it.

RomanceNikolai’s Top 5 Ways Of Getting Over An Ex (for The Ladies) by Jeboy(op): 4:11am On Aug 20, 2015
You’ve probably had relationships in the past, that you knew were headed towards destruction, but you still stuck it out. You might even be getting out of one right now and you’re finding it difficult to move on.

After investing so much time and energy in an individual, you just don’t want to let go so quickly. You constantly
think about the guy who managed to steal your heart for that period of time and you wonder what you could have done to keep him.

His name rings like a bell in your mind daily and you keep questioning yourself about all the ‘what ifs’ that could have salvaged the relationship.

To all the ladies out there who are still struggling to get over their last relationship, this is for you. Keep on reading to find out Nikolai’s Top 5 Ways To Get Over Him.

1. Get back on the playing field
This is a tough one. It’s not easy to get back to the dating game after a failed relationship, but I can definitely say it helps to take your mind off your ex for a bit.
Meeting new people is always a plus. You get to experience different personalities, look out for qualities that you would like from your future partner and rule out what is no longer acceptable for your lifestyle.

2. Accept your flaws
Ladies! Stop beating yourself up if your relationship doesn’t work out as planned. No one is perfect; we all make mistakes. You need to stop solely blaming yourself for things not working out. Poor communication, varying goals and mindsets are a few reasons why relationships don’t always work out. There are always ways to improve ourselves and stop bad habits, but it doesn’t mean that we should completely take the blame for an unsuccessful relationship.

3. Pick up a new hobby
Stepping out of your comfort zone helps you try new things that you possibly didn’t think you were capable of before. It might seem quite scary, but it’s a shift in the right direction. This will help keep you focused on developing a new skill and having some additional time for yourself. When you stay busy, you’re able to dust off irrelevant issues and worries from your mind.

4. Vent
Whoever said you shouldn’t vent is a liar! Venting helps. You’re able to release all the anger, pain and hurt you’ve been experiencing before and after your breakup. Talking to others helps to keep you sane and mentally opens doors to new beginnings. If you aren’t able to openly express yourself, you will internally harbor all your emotions in a negative manner and may not be able to ever get rid of your past.

5. Admit that the relationship is over
Your relationship might not have worked out as planned, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of your world. It might take some time, but when you’re able to assure yourself that you can evolve from your current state, you will be at peace. It takes two to tango. If it’s meant to be then he will come back, if not, you can finish the dance solo.

There was confusion at Oke Initea area of Osogbo, Osun State, on Tuesday, following the discovery of the remains of a 27-years-old man, Adekola Busari, who had hung himself.
Our Correspondent gathered that Busari, was indebted to a micro finance bank, but his wife had assisted in repaying the loan, remaining just N18,000 to balance up.
Although things were said to be down for the man, but it was not certain if the debt was the reason he had killed himself.
The deceased’s wife, Bidemi, was said to have discovered the corpse of her husband dangling inside their sitting room when she went to urinate early in the morning.
Amidst wailing,  the widow said her husband did not show any sign that he would kill himself.
She said, ” My husband went out to watch a football match last night and stayed till 11pm and when he came back home, he ate, we chatted, prayed together and he went to bed without any  sign.
“Though he is financially indebted, I have been paying the debt for the loan he took from a micro finance bank. So I don’t understand why he hung himself.
“I woke up to urinate and discovered that the  cloth I used to cover our two year-old child was missing, only to find out that it was the cloth my husband used to hang himself.”
The Divisional Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, in Olorunda Local Government Area, Mr. Babatunde Ojeniyi, confirmed the incident to our correspondent on the telephone.
He said, ” We have informed the Water and Environmental  Department at the Local Government Area, whose responsibility it is to remove the corpse. But we were told that certain traditional rites would have to be performed before the body would be lowered.”

PoliticsNo Appointment of Resident Electoral Commissioner In 11 States Says PDP by Jeboy(op): 4:49pm On Aug 17, 2015
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to “stop weakening” democratic institutions in the country especially the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The party claimed that 11 states of the federation do not have Resident Electoral Commissioners (REC) under Buhari’s watch.
In a statement yesterday, PDP national publicity secretary Olisa Metuh said before his tenure expired on June 30, the former INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega wrote to President Buhari, intimating him of the fact that the tenure of the majority of national commissioners would expire before August.

The PDP, which alleged that Buhari did not act, said this has resulted in what it termed “present crisis” in the commission, where it said more than 80% out of the statutory 13 members remain vacant, even as eleven states of the federation are also without REC.
It said this is in addition to the uncertainty surrounding the “controversial” appointment of the acting INEC chief, Hajiya Amina Zakari whose tenure has since expired as national commissioner.

“We ask, if not for a possibility of an ulterior motive to inject constitutional crisis and undermine the nation’s democracy, why should President Buhari wait to be urged before he upholds his responsibility of forwarding replacements to the Senate for confirmation so as to enable the commission effectively carry out its constitutional responsibilities to the nation?” the party asked.

No fewer than 761 persons have lost their lives to cultism and clashes involving Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria between January and July this year, Saturday PUNCH has learnt.

Findings by Saturday PUNCH, which was based on reported cases of violence involving cultism and Fulani herdsmen in the media, revealed the information.

The analysis showed that out of the figure, violence involving the Fulani nomads claimed 621 lives across the country within the period, while that of cult clashes claimed the remaining 140 victims.

It should, however, be noted that some killings were unreported and the attacks also left several persons injured, some of whom could have lost their lives later.

Of the 621 who died in clashes involving Fulani herdsmen, more than half of the deaths occurred in Benue State, a major flashpoint of the crisis in the country.

In January, 27 persons were killed in violent incidents involving Fulani herdsmen. In February, 96 persons died in similar circumstances; 236 in March; 28 in April; and five in May.

One of the most deadly attacks in the state this year occurred in March, when on a Sunday morning, Fulani herdsmen attacked Egba village in Agatu Local Government Area, killing 90 persons.

Other major flashpoints in the country as regards clashes involving Fulani herdsmen include communities in Taraba, Kogi, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kaduna, Zamfara, Ekiti and Kwara states where scores of people were also killed.

In Taraba State, for instance, 47 persons reportedly died in similar circumstances in January, 15 in April, eight in May, and four in July.

Also, on Saturday, April 4, clashes between suspected Fulani cattle rearers and local youth vigilantes from rival Hausa ethnic group in Zamfara State left at least 72 persons dead.

In Kaduna, 11 persons died in similar circumstances in January and 13 in June, this year.

Lagos State is the major flashpoint for cult violence in the country with the state alone claiming at least 80 out of the 140 victims.

A senior police officer at the Lagos State Police Command recently said no fewer than 80 persons were killed in cult clashes in the state between January and June.

The police officer who spoke on condition of anonymity noted that the figure could be higher than 80 because not all cases were reported to the police.

He said, “We have had so many cult killings within the past six months. Most of the cases involved former university students who left school and decided to carry on with their cult related activities after school in their areas.

“The number of cases reported cannot be less than 80, and that is leaving out the number of unreported cases.”

Meanwhile in July, there were at least two incidents involving cult clashes in Lagos, each claiming at least one life.

In January alone, no fewer than 16 persons were killed in cult-related circumstances, while 17 others were killed in similar circumstances in February.

Major flashpoints of cult attacks in the state are Mushin, Somolu, Bariga, Ikorodu, Ketu, Onipanu, Bariga, and Igando.

Next to Lagos are Ogun and Delta states, where 21 and 15 persons were reported dead in cult clashes between January and July.

In Edo State, which was the next deadliest state as regards the number of casualties to cult clashes, 10 persons reportedly died in similar circumstances.

A United Kingdom-trained criminologist and Chairman, Puma Eye Security Services, Mr. Pedro Ayandokun, blamed the recent cult clashes in the country on youth unemployment, illiteracy, and poor police and parental control.

He, therefore, called on the government to encourage community policing and increase investments in vocational training to engage the youth.

He said, “There should be compulsory education for children and vocational centres in each of the local governments in the country.

“Community Development Associations should also live up to their responsibilities and work with the police to dismantle illicit youth gatherings and forestall these killings because they have to be stopped.”

On the clashes involving Fulani herdsmen, Ayandokun suggested that the government introduce a legislation to address the issue.

He said, “Such legislation should carve a way for the herdsmen to graze their cattle and spell out how and where they would graze.

“It should establish a task force to enforce the laws that are spelt out by the legislation. There should also be a process of reconciliation because there will be a need for sensitisation since the herdsmen believe that there is nowhere they cannot take their cattle to graze while community residents want to protect their farms.”

The Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, did not answer calls to his mobile phone or respond to a text message sent to him.

PoliticsFormer Gov Of Bauchi Isa Yuguda Sues APC Chieftain For N10bn Over Defamation by Jeboy(op): 3:40am On Aug 15, 2015
AUGUST 15, 2015 : ARMSTRONG BAKAM

A former Governor of Bauchi State, Isa Yuguda, has dragged a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the State, Alhaji Sani Shehu, before the Bauchi State High Court 9, for alleged defamatory utterances against his personality and his administration.

He is seeking for N10bn as damages.

Counsel to the plaintiff (Yuguda), Mr. Okechukwu Nwaeze, who disclosed this to journalists in Bauchi on Friday, said the former governor filed the suit before the court seeking N10bn damages in an action against Sani Mallam over his allegations that Yuguda was corrupt and fraudulent during his tenure as the governor of the state.

Okechukwu said the plaintiff complained of the APC chieftain’s reckless and defamatory public comments about his personality and administration on two radio stations: Ray power FM and the Bauchi Radio Corporation.

The counsel alleged that Mallam, who was a former All Nigeria Peoples Party Chairman in the state, “accused Yuguda of woeful performance, excessive looting of public treasury, name-calling such as election rigger and manipulator. All these statements tempered with the reputation and personality of the former governor.

“It is not right to persecute people in the media. If the man is guilty of any fraud, the defendant should provide the proof or otherwise focus on his political activities.

“Our prayers are that the court should issue an order for the defendant to tender an apology in two national dailies and two online papers. The defendant should also be banned from featuring on such political programmes in media houses and should pay the sum of N10bn damages to the plaintiff.”

The Presiding Judge, Justice Muazu Abubakar, adjourned the case to October 6, 2015 for mentioning.

6) Mutual Enjoyment
In Marriage sex, there is mutual enjoyment in sex as none of the couple feel at loss, being used or cheated.

In adulterous/fornication related kind of sex, one of the partner (most time the weaker partner in crime (woman) always feels at loss hence the need to get some compensation in form of money, gifts and favour. In other cases of sugarmummy and a younger man, the man feels at loss or as been used so the woman in return provides compensation in form of money, gifts and favour.

Don't ask me how I know as you can only get stuffs like dis by d leading of d Spirit.Good morning.
