Sailor1: Sailor1: jedisco:I've come to see that if you play the bull cycle between majors well, one can navigate this market for most of the bullrun avoiding significant dips in ones portfolio even when betece pullsback Seeing eith double in the last 2 weeks and not having a good slice wasn't nice... Moreso given eith used to be my benchmark... I used to play the link/eith chart before, and of recent, it's been the ada/eith... Caught most of the upside move of ada against eith early this year but not the reverse... Good thing is that I stacked ada ( smarter move would have been to be in eith instead that period)...It's quite easy to get distracted in this market... Now I'm back to majors... Ada is at weekly resistance against eith again.... If it flips the 0.06 level, then good chance it'd continue its rally to 0.08 and 0.1... Good thing is that it might just have created a higher low

Loverboy3333:Some of the questions you asked are ones I usually don't answer... But it's Saturday and you sound new so I'd indulge... 1. First you have to understand how crypt0 (and markets in general) work. There are millions trading the market and it's not free money. If an overwhelming majority of the market think bitc0in is strong and would only go up, you can be rest assured it will not do that. Same also for the reverse. In essence, you want to be buying bitc0in when the majority think it's 'shaky' and going down and not the opposite. 2. Trying to time the top of a cycle (bull or bear) or when the cycle would end is something I don't do as it's an easy way to rinse myself out. I'm more interested in knowing when it's a good opportunity to buy and when its a sensible time to take profits... Trying to time the exact top and bottom has never worked for no one. 3. A good number of people are scared and waiting for bitc0in to dip much lower. I can assure you that if it dips to say 42 or 38k, the fear in the market would be much more increased and such people would still not buy. Rather, they'd be waiting for 30k or 28k. Some folks only know to buy FOMO. If bitc0in now rallies to say 65k, same people and the market becomes greedy, same people will come out and say if bitcoin dips to 46k, I'd sell all my property and buy...lol.... I've seen that happen over and over again with every top and bottom. There's no bitc0in dip that didn't come with FUD and no top that didn't have FOMO 4. Regarding whether I'd be deploying fresh fiat to the market at this time, I've answered that in the last post. I don't believe the top of the bull cycle is in... Rather I see this as an opportunity. |
I started building a new medium term position on xrp during this dip... Got some at 1.26... It's been cooling off for a while and with xlm showing strength, wouldn't ve surprised it picks up in the coming weeks... Another major I'm looking at is link and xtz... Also, the dot/uni/aave/ksm group which rallied in January/Feb this year and have been ranging since seem to have started picking up

jedisco:When stuff is ready, stuff is ready... Ada repaying my resolve to load upon it when it was between 1 and 1.4... I had spoken so much on ada that it obviously was my largest hodl bag It's taken 2 dolls and I'd let it run and see where it stalls... Funny thing is that even with the Betece pullback, my portfolio has been up both in usd and betece thanks mainly to ada and doge.... |
dogtails:Still same targets as yesterday posted below.. jedisco:The 21d ema/previous high is still being respected... Bullish divergences are beginning to form on the 4hrly If betece dips further and it wicks down to 0.4 and below, that'd be a sweet opportunity for me... On this.... Doge has been a sweet one to trade over the past few days... My lowest entry on this last dip was at 0.36... (Didn't fill my bids at 0.32) I've disposed some off and would be looking for a dip to 0.45-0.5... the liquidity is there, the levels are defined.... It's making 10-20% moves look like a walk in the park...
|
jedisco:Came down, cleared the whole range and more importantly, retested the 21 day ema It took a while but after 9 months and lots of waiting, bitc0in finally revisits the 21 ema, unfortunately didn't have as enough to load up as I had wanted... I'm taking some profits on the rally up to reload at the lows if it revisits again It's at these levels that on betece (in a bull market) I can buy, go to bed and forget what the market does in the short-term.... Generally, bitc0in does not rally without fomo and never sellsoff without FUD... It's either one trades to buy fud and sell fomo or buys fomo and sells fud

Comp with a clean bounce off the daily support (1st chart) Also looks to have broken out.. I like playing breakouts.... Got some at 880...
|
With eos pumping, could tezos run its way back to 8 after an initial bounce ![]() Lets see... Got in at 7.. Lots of good set-ups appearing on alyts... Only concern is that betece is approaching resistance and another rejection will lead to a further pullback... That said, I expect this betece range to hold for a while with betece ranging. I'd look to complete trades in that time
|
Sold yfi I bought earlier yesterday around 67k for 85k and 90k Reason is that it's at resistance against betece... It can flip the level and continue pumping... But I prefer to take profits at resistance and observe I've got alerts set at 1 (dotted line) against betece... Would be a good place to expect a bounce on a pullback
|
Xlm... Previously broke out of the 70 cent resistance.... Betece pullback caused a selloff to 63k which is being nicely bought nicely... I'd be bidding a bounce around .67-.69 level and hoping to ride it to ATH... Good chance xrp follows suit
|
Ltc has typically retraced almost all its rallies this year to retest breakout zones.... With betece looking like it'd hang around these levels a bit, I'm bidding this to return trip back to 415-420.

If many of us use the report function to report this chap under rule 18, then he should get banned from this section by the mods. I suggest we do that |
Notyamate:I started getting skeptical of this betece pump today with the repeated rejection off 60k and so much exposed liquidity below. The rally has not been a very healthy one with lots of stops exposed... It looks like the typical stairs up, elevator down... Also, another thing to consider is that eith has been rallying for the past 2 weeks, usually an eith rally is finished up by a proper selloff as folks look to take profits. I believe the bottom of the larger correction is in ans its only a matter of time before betece leaves this range. But then, price will usually seek liquidity. This drop has triggered 2 stop zones, There are still 2 left.... I'm looking to see how the current 4hr candle closes... If it closes bullish, then betece should respect this level at least for sometime and at least a relief rally, if it doesn't close bullish, then I'd tilt towards a further dip in the nearer future to around 52k to clear remaining liquidity.
|

|
Moda1:Ditched it at 42... Wasnt comfortable with the amount of time it was spending between 40 and 44... I didn't want a repeat of doge |
felzylix:An eith rally is usually finished off by a proper selloff as folks take profit... Getting in after it's sold off aint bad as it'd usually rebound to previous highs... But the smarter play IMO after an eith selloff would be getting into other majors cos they'd usually cactcup and do so quickly... The only thing is that eith usually pumps higher than most expect and most people are not as exposed to this eith rally |
Yfi.... Coin wey no wan move all this while don finally vex |
Cannicus:Traditionally, its not... But currently, its the 4th largest cap by volume and it's held that for a while..... So it's technically a major for the time being |
Notyamate:Just like eth below, if they're going to go on a run, they'd likely hold the 21 ema on the 4hrly chart as support... Why not aim for dips to that level if looking to add more size.... I got some link at 47 and added at 49.. Technically I believe link has broken out.. just needs betece to remain level headed
|
DumaEmpire:Not really into the coyn so I'm not in tune with the structure.. but then, except, it breaks its previous high, I don't see much to trade in it... Eith is still showing strength, I believe majors will follow afterwards.. my pick would be ada, link and maybe ltc |
jedisco:Was able to catch 2 bids on this... Sold part early on and the remaining at 6.... Bought again at 0.55 and plan to sell as close to 6 as possible. Made up for most of my stops... Looking back... I'd say I played doge wrongly.... I played it from the top like when it was still a microcap... The play should have been from the bottom considering its liquidity..... Was too focused on possible tops rather than catching the dips.. Two things you can't take away from doge now is the volatility and the liquidity... Already, I'd say there's a cheat code as the range is clear... On the way up, main resistance was at whole numbers Waiting for the daily close today... Got good bids set lower down... Wouldn't mind waking up to see them filled and repeat the process again tomorrow... If it keeps rallying, good and fine, I look for the next dip.
|
dogtails:Hehe... People say retrospective vision is 20/20... It's always obvious when you look back |
iceberg02:Yes there on binaz .. It's you that'd determine when to sell. |
Quite rare for a major to selloff and the whole market doesn't react... Whether it's xrp, eith or even doge.... Seems the market is now reacting to the doge selloff.... |
DumaEmpire:Hehe... Lets cut folks some slack... I also bought doge at 0.7 and was stopped out at a loss... People are on and about about how doge will make people poor... I don't see what doge has done on this retrace that other alyts have not done in this space. Xrp dipped from 0.6 to 0.2 during the sec stuff, recently, it dipped to 90cents after hitting 2 dollars... LTC and link have been fully retracing all the rallies they've had this yr... And many others. Even betece has deep retraces. Looking at the big picture, there's been a massive pump on doge, and there'd be a retrace... I'm sure deep pockets are well positioned to buy off a capitulation... The liquidity in doge will not disappear overnight.. it's the liquidity that draws me in... I wouldn't ve surprised to see doge trading at previous highs within 2 weeks...
|
Doge... Slowly getting there... Points to note.... Previous high at 0.45, 21d ema at 0.42 Support block around 0.36-0.32 if it wicks below the 21d ema...
|
Notyamate:Doge has not stopped other coyns from pumping... Afterall, eith has been doing its thing... The liquidity on it will still be there for a while... It dumped to 0.15 after the last rally and still found its way back to the top |
nihilistjnr:Lol.... You've always been an eith guy... Wonder why u abandoned your beloved ![]() |
mike8804:How I go take know what a coyn will do next week? Not a coyn I trade....Moreso betece seems to be dealing with resistance.... Alyts generally dont do well when betece is at resistance.. for now, I'm more focused on certain majors till there's more clarity in the market |
