^^ makes the average person wonder if terrorism is not infact an more profitable means of earning a livelihood. Once you get caught, you're taken care of, protected by "laws", have attorneys at your service, residence, food, doctors, even electronics and laptops (as in one case last yr) all at the expense of the state. I mean why slave yourself to death when you can be high profile and have it free? |
so you have advanced from jesoul to jesus huh? you now know when it will all end abi?
Yes oh It's like you suddenly and finally admitting that reckless liberalism is the highway to anarchy ![]() montelik:Gbam. You hit the nail on the head. That was where my mind went straight to when I first heard the story. We cannot do anything to upset or antagonize the Chinese now because they are our cash cow. If they close their open fists, we don finish be dat. |
montelik:I agree mostly with you Montelik. I'll add another dimension. I think an ideal leader should be attractive to people of every political persuation. A problem I have with the poilitical system in America is if you're right - you always vote and talk and walk right, and if you're left vice versa. Palin is far right and stays there. I think an ideal society would require elements and ideas from both extremes to work. Balance is everything and as much as I love her, I don't think she's balanced enough. You like Romney? hmm . . . no comment for now. lol. Now, lets have some target practice fun with our looney lefty Prez ![]()
the health care bill without public option . . . . . could have been written by michael steele. ahaaa, i hear it was copied from some guy in boston called . . . uuhmmmm . . . Mitt Rhomney
You're kidding right? the HC bill is right-ish? Prez, I ask again, what "ish" are you smoking ehn? You're so far left that anything not left of you, is considered right. Na wa for you oh. As for Romney, don't look to me to defend him, I know first hand the damage he caused in Mass. the current wall street reform, i hear is another pandering to the right . . not sure about that yet.ok, when you are sure, come back with your 2 kobo lol. the wars in afghanistan and irag. what is the US doing in the middle east if not to keep oilling the treasure chest of the republican military industrial complex that president eisenhower warned about in I96I . . .Pandering to the right? far from it. More like a humpty dumpty cop-out that neither fell to the left or right, but simply sat on the wall. He wanted everyone to love him which is why he couldn't make up his mind and thought a middle of the highway decision would satify us? I tire. You either bring them home or leave them there to finish the job. Pick one and believe it and stick with it. the spill baby spill pandering to the right. here was a guy who was against drilling and then suddenly he turned around to support it to pander to the right before . . . . . BP happened BP happened for real lol.i can go on and on . . the guy is just confused. The truest thing you've said so far ![]() a ''leftist'' supreme court judge retires and he appoints a centrist judge. how can someone like kagan replace someone like stevens?I haven't taken the time to examine Kagan's record, but I've heard otherwise. There's hardly any such thing as "centrist" in American politics. |
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ![]() i knew it,i knew it . . i knew there is a place we agree on. we cant always be against each other all the time
lol. Abi ke ![]() now that it is settled that the comedian from alaska is not fit for office, let me partially agree that obama is not doing well in ofice at the moment. he has let down his supporters by trying to please his political opponents who have sworn to destroy his administration even if it means pulling down the country with itHmm, call me crazy, but I fail to see where Obama has "pandered" to his opponents or the right in general in an honest effort to appease. Please examples? its been liberal policy after liberal policy. however, pls do not mention Obama and palin in the same sentenceYou're right. That was grossly irresponsible of me to tarnish Sarah's good name by streaking it alongside Obama's ![]() and for peace, take this from meLol, I don laugh tire. See how you covered all the bases lol. He is all the above and much more. And I know he wont mind me returning it |
end of what?the US? or the world? or obama's administration? end of what? pls reduce all this armageddon rhetoric jare
End of the world. When you hear the Chinese, the chinese of all countries, hypocritically complaining about human rights . . . look up in the sky, our redemption draweth nigh. |
Joagbaje:Actually that applies to all christians across the board, not just musicians. What worries me is this principle is mostly only quoted when it comes to musicians and them being compensated for their services. Picture your average "conference" or "retreat" or service etc . . . the caterers get paid, the security team gets paid, the cleaners get paid, the transportation people get paid etc it's standard . . . but when it comes to the musicians, suddenly, they should give freely? and "glorify God with their gifts" How come visiting pastors cannot glorify God with their gifts? usually their contracts and compensation are discussed upfront when they are invited, why should it be any different for any other member of the body? |
My brother, Mark9:47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell this verse and the others, were not meant to be taken or applied literally, but moreso figuratively. Cut off or pluck out anything in your life that hinders you from living a life that is pleasing to God, not literally cut off your body parts. |
ElRazur:Pouring sand and salt on the injury. Recall the recent KSM drama of hosting his trial in NY. The cost estimates of providing security for the duration of his trial was mind boggling . . . all this for an admitted murderer? I think our fore fathers were onto something when they marched out captured killers to the gallery and hung them straight. From my view, it appears that these laws and acts favours the criminals/terrorist than it favours the innocent and law abiding people of the land. I am also of the belief that people should lose their automatic rights once heinous crimes are involve.Lol, tell that to the new-age liberals and their merry band of kumbaya, hand-holding, kool-aid drinking, we are the world idealists who are divorced from reality. Gosh, I cannot stand such air-headed ppl ![]() |
^ I hate to give you more fodder . . . but I am also one that hopes she doesn't run for president. I like her tons, but I don't think she's the right fit for the highest office in the land. Well, no more than Obama is ![]() |
^^I could not agree more with every syllable, comma and full stop. Did you even hear about Chinese officials also bashing the Arizona law? saying it was an infringement on human rights, and the Obama admin agreeing with them? Wonders shall never cease. China! of all the countries on the planet to open their mouths about human rights. Imagine. The end must be near. |
donnie:Donnie, you're muddying the waters. A. There are musicians who play recreationally, at church, at occasional events etc. Then - B. There are professional musicians who play as a means of earning their livelihood You can expect your approach for category A and indeed it is the approach that I usually take myself (if I get paid great, if I don't that's great too). But for category B, you cannot expect them to book dates and events, especially when travel is involved without their enquiring in advance about payment for their services. Other professionally trained people do not typically offer their services (be it to a religious event or not) for free. Why should it be different for musicians? |
So Chinedumo you self . . . are you in essence saying men should cut off their thing as an alternative means of curbing their sexual urges? |
chinedumo:ROTFLOL . . . Chinedumo your tone is hilarious. "Alternative" lolIf there's a topic about se.x/abstinence, Deepsight must represent his strong objection ![]() |
Joagbaje:Wow, all that? I gbadun you! lol. |
Pastor AIO:There's a point I agree with. Much of soul today is honestly boring, especially the Neo-soul spin off. But here and there, there are a few gems. Joss Stone, Heather Headley - not sure if you know them, IndiaArie, are some of my new skool favs. I still jam along to Al Green, Gladys Knight etc quite often. Mainstream gospel really bores me. It sounds like the same song over and over again. Barely any artistry going on behind the hoopla. Reggae? I like Roots reggae. A lot of the stuff from the 70s and also the dub too. The earlier ska too.I'm similar. Not really into dancehall reggae - those SeanPaul types. But the roots and ska are cool. . . . but HipHop? kai! not my scene at all. I like a few artists every now and again, but generally I avoid hiphop music. I can appreciate the high standard of their productions, artists like Dr. Dre, Timbaland etc but the lyrically content (and not just because of the rude language) leaves me cold. One can use foul language and still be artistic with it, but I don't really get the artistry in much of hip hop.Lol, trust me, I know exactly what you're talking about. I don't do mainstream hiphop, for the most part, its all junk. But men, there's a ton of artistry that goes in hiphop oh! Besides the production on the track - there's the writing style, the delivery, the wit, the storytelling, the ability to keep the listener interested etc Unfortunately artists that excel in these areas are few and far btw. |
netotse:Na true you talk jare. But this kin film trick don reach the point wey e dey insult our intelligence . . . but be like say we still like am. as per the going to join Renee bit, cool down now, na so e dey vex you reach?. . .lolMy brotha, I vex oh! lol The offing of Renee must be avenged by all the important people dying to end the series or else They want bloodthirsty abi? me I am severely dehydrated. semid4lyfe:A very likely possibility. Jack can't die or else they won't have any movie to make. |
but i can see some of your fans getting overconfident. . . .i hope the feeling gets to the team
hehe, false hope, false prophet. May they stay humble and focused. see dis girl abusing uncle fisher, you dont have respect abi. . . joining all these young point guards that have been going extremely hard at him, thats very unfairLol. . . here's uncle Fisher https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxfb3pTm2Hw [flash=400,300]http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/xxfb3pTm2Hw[/flash] |
Hmmm . . . I don't think any government anywhere should be in the business of legislating morality. I'm sure there're greater issues facing the Malawians that a couple gays dudes on each other. But if the people of Malawi do not want gays in their land, then that is their business and their law to enforce. |
This is a clear example of how the West continues to lose all and any semblance of common sense in the name of political correctness or under the unfortunate illusion of "following the law". America does this all the time too. Trying to protect the "rights" of admitted or known terrorists. It's disgusting and an insult to law-abiding citizens everywhere. One can only hope the law of God and nature will be true for them - you reap what you sow - and may it be so for these murderers. |
^^lol. Prez, are you on cheap crack? ![]() You love Sarah Palin. Adore her. And when she's not in the news cycle its like there's a hole in your heart and emptiness in your soul, yearning with a yearn that is drenched in desparation. I know of a cure. Admit your feelings. Talk about it. Share it. It'll be like a form of catharsis, once its out you'll feel relieved and most importantly, able to move on . |
^^True. Just like in 2008. The Lakers steamrolled through the western conf, while the Celtics struggling, went the distance with Atl and Cleveland. We all know how that turned out .Nah but Lai-lai you have a good point. It's all about match-ups in the playoffs. We'll wait and see . . . but ehn we don't have to see Rondo vs Fisher first to know how that'll turn out lol. Fisher has embarrased himself too many times this season.
@jesoul, mind your biz ![]() yeah u said it and i didnt count them out, just warned u that magic would be a tough nut to crack even you dont have the liver to say celtics would flog the lakers, you need 'amens'
Lol. Abeg say your amen or hold your peace jare . Celtics cannot get overconfident at all . . . just take it one game at a time. |
Eastbay, don't mind Lai-lai. What else do you expect from a lakers fan? ![]() I actually told him a few pages ago not to count the Celtics out as we took Orlando the 7game distance last yr without KG. I expected a tough series hoping we win, but certainly didn't expect this ![]() Plus Lai-lai what else do you expect Celtics fans to say? that LA win it? abeg jor, the Celtics will win. Let the people say Amen ![]() |
nearest:Lol. Precisely. But we give them a pass becase na 24. And don't forget this is the same Jack Bauer was hung and tortured by the Russian arms dealers and stabbed in the stomach by Renee only a few hours ago . . . Jack baur seems to know charles logan very well, for him to employ the same method he used in getting proof about president david palmer's death again, the next move for jack would be to invade the agreement signing venue with a loud speaker playing the conversation between logan and subverovFor where? He's going to kill the Russian president and they'll end the series with him about to be killed or something like that - so they can make their 3-part movie afterwards. Personally, I strongly prefer that he be killed off let him go and join Renee on the other side. |
Men, I must apologize to the Celtics. I expected a second round exit, but whatever winch they ate is doing wonders. Goes a long way to alleviate the stench that are the RedSox this year. Eastbay:Spot on analysis. I knew the Celtics had a chance against the Magic because of how well we played against them last yr - taking them to 7 games - without KG. Plus we destroyed them in Orlando on christmas day this yr without Paul Pierce, so I'm not sure why ppl wrote them off. But I didn't think they could/would execute the gameplan this efficiently. It's really incredible how well they're playing. I sense they've got the fire back, some of that killa instinct and now actually believe they can go all the way - and they just might. It's going to be a Laker-Celtic final. |
bawomolo:Looks like some people did not learn their lesson ![]()

Mudley common now. Let me make one thing clear - no one requested that you get banned. The complaints were about the pictures that you posted and I told you one or two were not in accordance, in spirit or in practice, with forum rules. None one will complain if you air your views, just try to do so cordially and respectfully. And if you have any problems with any christian/muslim being insultive, simply bring it to Manmustwac or my attention. Thanks. |
eldee:I echo eldee's implied sentiment. They're crossing the line of "common now" . . . one man take on the Secret Service and kidnap an ex-president, then escape, then infiltrate the UN or wherever that was, kill the guards, kill the entire Russian Service men and the ambassador, escape the building with no police or anyone responding to all the gunshots and only leave with a knife injury to his stomach This is too far-fetched jor, even for Jack Bauer. |
JesoulLol. Nazi recruiter? lol. Spiked, you know me so well sista . Vesc, your song is served. I was feeling generous, its 12 bars long. What's your email? or do I need permission from your snr wife first? |
Everyone, please please please, try to discuss with each other respectfully. I'd hate to have to lock this thread. |
toba:NL band lol, that'd be fun. Some guys in the music section were trying to make a NL mixtape. Jesus2:Wow, all? I salute you oh. |
