pls i want to know why my post (before you blame the boko haram, pls read this) was deleted or hidden.
i was trying to open a discussion on what motivates the boko haram people and i believe openness and fairness to all concerned is a policy in nairaland. i just want to know the reasons for
1. first removing my post from politics section and sending it to religion section under islam for muslims
2. finally deleting the post entirely
pls note: i am not challenging your decision, i just want a candid explanation for your decision.

Exactly my point. You will have a plethora of interpretations of various scriptures because we're looking back trying to make sense of a complicated document. People who say Jesus didn't drink wine say so on the basis the word 'wine' was mistranslated from the original text. This among many many other issues that christians and even biblical scholars frequently disagree on.

Believe you me, there is plenty in the ancient jewish culture that I personally and thoroughly dislike.

REVELATION 2 VS 27 AND HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON, AS THE VESSELS OF THE POTTER ARE BROKEN TO PIECES, as I also have received authority from My Father; so basically you have everything you need in life, and no poverty and orderliness, if you still flout the law under this setup you will be smashed on with a rod of iron ( meaning you will be severly dealt with ). The point here is there is no magical mystical mythological transformation that happens to the world when christ returns. all that happens is that orderliness and righteousness will be established. hell ( suffering ) is cast into the lake of fire. meaning no more poverty or hopelessness and homelessness. capitalism will be eradicated and everyone will recieve enough to live very good but not above and beyond ( like oprah and warren buffett ). same world under righteous rulership ( thats all heaven is )

He was banned for consistently posting incendiary comments and derailing christian topics. Am I expected to now pull up every single one to 'justify' the ban? that's ridiculous. If posters want to trust my judgement - good. If not, that's fine too. Look around the forum, this is waaayyy more 'explanation' any mod has to give. I only do so to inspire open dialouge here in this section. But I will not let that turn into a means for silly posters to insinuate otherwise. Especially from someone who's been banned several times by other mods. Isn't that indication enough he's got a problem? What possible motive could I have for banning him without reason? Aren't there many many atheists in this section posting just as strongly against religion?

@topic, the best answer is "complicated". When reading about women in the bible their roles, functions, impact is mired in a tricky context of the culture at the time and our interpretation today. One thing you can look at is how Jesus Himself treated women - look at His example and take it from there. He broke the rules when it came to women and expected that future generations would continue what he started - not try to enslave women all over again within 'rules' and 'regulations'.

Not minding the several requests & pleadings I made to you to please be civil to which you crudely responded with expletives and pretty much rude childish defiance saying you'd continue do whatever you wanted regardless of the rules.

You came back after 24hrs and posted the same thing again that got you banned and hence you were banned for a week. And I warn you again, keep up the disruptive behavior, incendiary comments, attacks, rude behavior and your next ban will be for much longer.

Btw, this was posted on the mod thread when it happened for all to see. I have all the msgs, moderation logs and responses you sent to the warnings you were given, but it'd be a waste of time to post here as wiser minds should know better.

I can tell u >95% of 'reported' posts that get sent to my email are junk. Some are threats to other posters, some insult Seun, some threaten the other with hellfire, some will be asking strange random questions, one was even threatening to sue somebody, another one was a serious case of smearing someones identity and the guy was ready to take on Seun & NL in court to clear his name etc etc... NL is full of locos, that I have learnt a long time ago.
