I weep for Nigeria. The rate at which everyone is leaving Nigeria. Who will be left to repair the rot? It's so sad. When did things degenerate to this level? Even basic amenities have become luxury in this country. You are rich, armed robbers will come and rob you or hired assassins will kill you. Even houseboy will strangle you in your own house. All because of this money sha. Education is zero, healthcare has turned to big business. Even to get spiritual salvation is not free. Nothing is free except the air we breathe in. These old and recycled politicians have nothing new to offer. The youths needs to rise up to the occassion and make this country great again. If all of us run comot, who go remain? Shey if the likes of Canada or US didn't fix their country, will we see where to run to? This idea of running away, as good as it sounds, hurts me to the bone marrow..

As much as this look and sounds like a good development, I feel the NERC aren't being sincere with Nigerians. They wil say one thing, trust the DISCOs to do another thing.. They don't sanction these DISCOs. We have spend donkey years applying for meter at our house, but they keep giving one excuse or the other. You fill a form and that's where it ends. No one gets back to you. Yet the estimated bills keep on soaring high.. We just recently cleared N71k of current and arrears for a bungalow that doesn't even have AC. Yet these guys bring bill of N25k, 30k. Last month they brought 34k. And even if you pay half of the money, their operatives will still come to your house, climb the pole and disconnect you and insist you go on to clear your outstanding balance. You still pay for reconnection too. They are looking for more money, but this is not the way to go about it. Scamming Nigerians of hard earned money. Yet the Federal Government is not talking. We know why.. The owners of GENCOs and DISCOs are top politicians who are seemingly untouchable. What do we even enjoy in this country apart from the air we breathe in.. Such a shame on the Minister of Power.. Despite all his mouth.. Now he has flopped big time...

We are religiously hypocritical in this country. Religion has done so much harm in the lives of Nigerians. Even in marriages, we put religion in everything. Wife will be telling her husband we should use only one style to make love because the other styles are evil. Nigerian wives will be reporting their husbands to their pastors rather than seek counselling.
