sarahatuba:
Its easier said than done....an alliance by SS with the SE will only create a bigger 'fraud' (as you call nigeria)...if the igbos want Biafra let them get biafra and if the SS want Niger delta as a country let them get it......I'm not in support of this alliance....let's seperate this regions from each other

BTW what are these 'lies' and 'propaganda'....

Y'all keep taking a step forward and taking a thousand backwards......
And I am sure you have no relationship with either SS or SE, yet you appoint yourself a judge/spokesperson in their matter. Same way many of you from the north and SW have been doing since time immemorial to create disunity between the SS and SE.

@post, I am glad that recent political events in the country has opened the eyes of many of us to the reality of who has whose back and who the cunning exploiters are.
Before now, many south southerners were made to believe that igbos are all fraudsters whose only interest is to use ND oil wealth to develop their land. Many nigerdeltans believed this fallacy and were suspicious of southeasterners. This is regardless of the fact that we share a lot in common, including religious beliefs, tradition and intermarriage.

One thing y'all should know is that our enemies are aware that a united SS/SE means less exploitation of southern oil wealth, and that is why they keep sowing seeds of discord between us.
Personally, i will continue to treat any ssoutherner like my own regardless of the misconceptions some of them have about us, because a popular Igbo adage says that ones nearest neighbor is far better than even a distant relative.
So @op, I commend you for this write-up and I pray we overcome those dividing us and forge a common front that will lead to our collective political success in the nearest future.

I was equally moved to tears when Orubebe was lamenting at INEC headquarter in Abuja. The same brainwashed foools called him all sorts of names for daring to speak the truth.
The fact remains that the last election was a palace coup plotted by the northern oligarchs and their apologists from southwest, endorsed and supervised by Jega to ensure that power returned to the north.

OrlandoOwoh:
If northern PDP members worked for APC, why didn't PDP prevent this from happening by making a northerner their candidate. There is enough evidence that Jonathan signed a pact to run for one term hence the massive support from the north in 2011, with the belief that one of them would be the party's flag bearer in 2015. Why did Jonathan renege? Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State who showed interest in contesting was threatened that his son would be charged by the EFCC.
There was no such agreement. If there was, I am sure northern PDP members would have provided a copy of it to back up their claim. Besides, you should know that no politician in his right senses will agree to enter and sign such agreements.
Politics › Re: I Will Return Stronger To Rebuild PDP,Johnathan Tells Party Leadership by Jman06(m): 9:45am On May 15, 2015
Northern PDP members sabotaged GEJ's reelection bid because they wanted power to return to the north.
I saw it coming. I looked for every means to pass the message to GEJ and his trustable campaign team members, but couldn't succeed. Adamu Muazu and most other northern PDP leaders were never with GEJ at heart. Same with most of GEJ's cabinet members of northern origin. They all believed power must return to the north even if it meant losing out to the opposition.

While GEJ was playing gentleman, they were busy scheming on how to see him out of office. Despite having everything it would have required to rig the election, GEJ kept playing clean, making some people believe he never truly wanted a second term. Because if he had desperately wanted a second term, he could have rigged the election from the SS, SE and even SW.

Well, all I can do now is wish him a peaceful rest as he lives office.

NIJJAking:
We have read alot of recent news about biafra and igbos agitating for its re establishment. The truth is that biafra is dead and will never be resurrected. All the igbos beating the drum of war should know that it will be too costly for the south east to undertake any such venture .
The south south has continued to distance its self from being one with the south east. May God forbid that all the lastest acquisitions of fire arms that were bought by the nigerian government to fight boko haram be now turned to destroy the south east should we start a fight with this blood thirsty and ruthless northerners and south westerners. Ohaneze ndi igbo has a lot of work to do to call our people to order. Igbos should be wiser and not join forces with the south southerners for they are saboteurs as history has taught us in the biafran war.
Igbos have far more greater investments and structures to protect all over nigeria. Alot of people died as massob members and when jonathans government gave a large sum of money to ralph uwazurike we are all aware of how he sold out the biafran struggle without honour for his dead members.
My fellow igbos should rather concentrate effort how to assimilate into the present ruling government and as was done with pdp we find ways to conquer the apc and rule in it. That will be a better and sensible victory that is worth fighting for.
You are a clear description of who a foool is! I can bet my life to the fact that you are not Igbo. Why do you yorrobber foools always quick to claim Igbo when you want to post your obnoxious comments on this forum. Low self-esteem at its worst.
Now let me inform you that Biafra's actualization is a noble project that must be realized. It is the wish of everyone of us that it is realized without any bloodshed. But should the animal inhabitants of the zoo called Nigeria want to flex muscle with us in an attempt to stop Biafra, it is going bloody on them. They l'd be made to pay for all the sins they have committed against the igbos with the blood of their sons and daughters. That is when you will know that we have been preparing for another round of war since the last one. Nonsense!

francizy:
I remembered vividly that I pointed this out sometimes back, that is before the presidential election but I received insults and curses from you people. Am very much sure you voted for Buhari in the election. Nevertheless, lemme tell you that I've had experiences, when I say experiences, I mean first hand experiences from the northerners and I can say it openly that most people that screamed change from Lagos have not been to or thought about going to the north.

I spent five (5) years schooling there. I know what I saw, even at the level of ordinary departmental elections were turned around and all posts occupied by them, even with large number of Christians in my school then. The lecturers had an election on who to be the next VC, and Northern Christian from that state won the election but due to the protest within the school and the almajiri protest outside the school, this man was denied that post and it was handed over to a "born to rule". To them, this election wasn't about change, it was about them, North and their religion. They don't care if Nigeria burns to ashes, unless of course they are at the top.

Mind you also that I experienced the 2011 post election violence, another violence after some bomb blasts occurred in churches on a Sunday and I was almost killed by one bomb blast on my way to school. So I've been there and I've seen it all.

The drill here is, since you guys aligned with them, you have to just make up your mind to take whatever comes your way. If they deny you people all posts, then take it with good faith, but if they give you any, also take it with good faith. The end will justify the means.

Also, don't expect too much from them, else you may find yourself sitting on a hot stove.
Y
Peace man.
Thank you my brother!
I remember writing similar post here too, warning fellow Southerners that the north is not interested in any so called "change" but to have power at all cost. But yor robber bigots called me PDP e-warrior.
Bro, I also studied in the north and understand the level regional and tribal politics they play up there. But bigots from Southwest wouldn't listen. Even when the few sensible ones among them like Femi Kayode, Fayose etc were drumming it into their ears that the north is only concerned about returning power to them, they still sheepishly followed Tinubu. Now they want to blame their impending political doom on SE/SS. Nonsense! If not for people like Fayose, FFK and other reasonable Yoruba people I have met, I would have said let amadioha strike all yorubas dead without mercy.

Anyway, for now:

I would also say That Some of our sisters might not cherish all these 'serenre'. Beautiful home, good kids and a lots of loose money would do. Some like the beating and tough love part too.

Everyone should find a spouse who complements them.
Thank you @bukatyne. Was about typing the above.
Most Nigerian girls are confused and don't know what is good for them in relationships. I have dated a girl who said that I was 'too emotional' just because I was doing the lovey-dovey things with her,yet when you develop "iron" heart and stop showing them love, they still complain. They think that a guy showing his affections for the lady he loves is a sign of weakness, forgeting that it takes the love of a woman to calm even the strongest of men. Think about the biblical story of Sampson and Delilah.
Some of them also think that guys show affection only
when they are broke, so even when a guy is genuinely showing his love, they think he is doing that because he's broke. You see, confusion everywhere.
Thank goodness for your likes tho, who have got some functional brain cells in their skulls.
