Op, you can go on with the marriage if you are a masochist cheesy. Some ladies somewhere might just be searching for such sadistic man to be with.

Otherwise, run for your dear life and get yourself a decent guy that knows how to treat a lady right.

You don't get it,Is mother slapped him first, he's response was wrong but not every one responds well to violence.
Don't try to justify what the guy did. It was very wrong of him. He should have simply left the house at that moment.

If she isn't controlling, possessive, jealous,I don't think her son would have a reason to hit her
So being controlling, possessive and jealous is now a valid reason to hit a woman?

Would you support a man hitting his wife because she's controlling, possessive and jealous?

She is a fool for leaving her husbands house to her sons house to demonstrate such level of stupidity and wickedness and she deserved the slaps she got.

You say oscar should have left?
See, some people only respond to things like that. That slap will make that woman not just to deeply consider what she did, but to also never repeat it ever again.

And if she can't stay in the house, she should go from whence she came. Simple.
Your son is sure gonna slap you like Oscar did to his mom. So it is now justifiable for a man to raise his hand on a woman? Because his mom is the victim? Ladies of nowadays and their hypocrisy! Y'all forget that a man who can slap his mom can not only slap but also punch his wife.

Not supporting what the woman did but Oscar was very wrong for slapping his own mother. He should have just left the house without having to attack the old lady.

Involving the police in the matter is not a very good option. Rather, the family should settle the issue amicably and Oscar should be made to understand that it was very wrong of him to slap his mom. He should then apologize profusely to his mom and come up with a better way of making his mom understand the role Tania has played in his life and how it is not possible for him to dump her for another lady for no cogent reason. Meanwhile, Oscar should be sure he isn't overlooking too many faults in Tania just because she helped him get a job.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Invite To Nestle Function Test And Interview 2015 by Jman06(m): 9:03pm On May 29, 2015
RileyFreeman1:
This Nestle of a company... You will write tests, pass, attend interviews, receive interview feedback that you are successful and that's the last you will hear from them. They will just keep you hanging without any other update.

Very bad way to treat people. Why don't you just send a regret mail if you don't want them, instead of sending success mails and probably bringing in other people from the back door.

Some people received interview success mails for various positions since last year, they have not been contacted by Nestle.

My advice to you guys whenever Nestle is involved, kindly remove your mind from them, when they contact you, be happy and thank God. If they don't contact you as expected probably after receiving success mail, then just let them be...pray God touches their hearts.

Politics › Re: Postscript Of The Jonathan Years! What Do You Say? by Jman06(m): 3:21pm On May 29, 2015
I will remember him as an epitome of true democracy and patriotism.

Even when he had all the wherewithal to turn the last presidential election in his favour, he played clean.
No bloodsheds during his campaigns and no political assassinations throughout his reign.

In terms of achievements in office, I will rate him higher than his predecessors. He performed very well in education, aviation, agriculture, power, economy and rule of law. he performed averagely on road reconstruction and understandably in security.

My only grouse against him is that he was too lenient on Nigerians, thereby giving every tom, d!ck and harry the audacity to talk trash about him and his family.

In summary, GEJ remains the best.

I see disgrace and cluelessness written all over this Olodo of Daura. See im face like a jackass.

Nigeria has really boarded a plane with a clueless pilot.

Reminds me of the joke about Okon, the flight attendant that wanted to experiment with piloting an airplane with many passengers onboard, only to get confused when the plane was already airborne and started confessing to the passengers that he never was a pilot, but only touched some buttons and up the plane went.

Hmm, naija I hail oo

I signed the pro-NOI petition and I am in support of NANS for the stance they have taken on the issue.

The so called Sunday iwalaiye is nothing but a political jobber who is only seeking attention from the incoming government to offer him political appointment.

His petition against NOI smacks of tribal bigotry and misogyny.
Romance › Re: He Is Yoruba But Wants To Marry An Igbo Lady: Please Advise Him by Jman06(m): 11:02am On May 24, 2015
Subom1:
But you are already whining about it. Truth is I was unaware about this Tribalism sh1t too until I joined Nairaland. You should stop acting like the victim because a lot of your brothers and sisters are guilty of the same things that you are acusing Yorubas of. Just look at this thread for example and see what some of your peeps have said about Yoruba men and women. You people started with the insults (go and read page 0 and see). You did not castigate your brothers or sisters who said that yoruba men prefer igbo women but are quick to blame Yorubas. So who is the hypocrite now? Truth is both parties have played their roles and no-one is innocent of this. Try not to let some comments here get to you. The majority of Yorubas are with Yorubas and the majority of Igbos are with Igbos so at the end of the day it does not matter what people say or think.

Secondly even though a man is the one who approaches a lady. She has a choice to say yes or no. Those ladies are not saying no, so if you have a problem with Yoruba men dating Igbo women then talk to your women and stop beefing Yorubas.

P.S hating is not doing anything to anybody else but your own self. To be filled with hate is a burden that you alone will have to carry and be judged upon one day. It's just not worth it.
Well, if correcting an errorneous post is what you call "whining", then I can only smh for you.
Maybe you need to go through all the posts on Nl especially politics section to see who are the main culprits in the tribal war between the two tribes. I have never read a post before from a Yoruba nlder rebuking a fellow Yoruba poster for attacking Igbos, but once an Igbo poster attacks you lots are always quick to rebuke and remind him of how bigoted he is. You even cheer yourselves up for insulting the Igbo tribe.

Let me restate it that I don't give a f*ck whom anybody chooses to marry, so long as my beautiful ONYINYE is not affected grin grin grin. Why on earth should i ? Am I gonna marry all the ladies in igbolandhuh

And about the hate ish, it's just a nairaland thing. I don't hate anybody in the real world. I'm bigger than hating on anybody, talkless Yoruba people.
Romance › Re: He Is Yoruba But Wants To Marry An Igbo Lady: Please Advise Him by Jman06(m): 9:27am On May 24, 2015

cheesy
Why would I wanna whine about Yorubahuh Lmao

Honestly, I don't give a f*ck about whom any body chooses to marry or date. But Nl Yoruba guys were going overboard with the whole thing when they claim that Igbo ladies prefer them to Igbo guys. Then I had to correct the erroneous statement. If that's what you call whining, then you may need to check your dictionary properly.

We all know that most Igbo guys don't marry outside igboland, and on daily basis many Igbo guys get married to Igbo girls, yet some fo0lish Yoruba guys want to claim that they are preferred by Igbo chicks.

Let me state that before joining Nl, I never hated Yoruba people. In fact I had many of them as friends. But after reading so many posts from Yoruba guys who take pleasure from insulting igbos, I was tempted to hate anything Yoruba. That temptation is what I am seriously fighting to overcome now.

You're proud to say your tribe hate Yoruba.

Sit there dey chop hate why your females can't resist.
I just listed the kind of Igbo ladies that "can't resist". Let me restate it again that NO thoroughbred Igbo lady would want to have anything with Yoruba guys. It is only the aristos and outcasts who can't find Igbo guys to marry them that would marry Yoruba. Is that so difficult to understandhuh

You are quick to notice how proud I am about my tribe's hatred for Yoruba, but always look the other way your Yoruba brothers insult and attack igbos on social media especially nairaland. How hypocritical you are!

Sorry I missed this "war" when it was still hot. angry

Nevertheless, let me correct this erroneous impression so this guys from Southwest will not start feeling pro.

I read some shitty posts up there where some yor robber guys were saying that Igbo girls prefer them to Igbo guys. I just laughed my butt off because that's the most senseless comment I have read on nairaland since I joined.

It is a known fact that 99.99% of Igbo guys don't marry outside igboland. And every day, many Igbo guys are joined in marriage with Igbo girls. The question now is, who are now the Igbo girls that prefer to marry Yorubahuh The answer is; they are either the few power-hungry ones who were not fortunate enough to find a powerful politician of Igbo origin to marry them, so their only option was to look for such across the Niger, or they are the over grown ones who spent their youthful years living wayward lives until it was too late to find themselves decent Igbo guys to marry.

The truth is that no well cultured Igbo girl that has the real Igbo blood running in her veins would prefer a Yoruba guy to Igbo guys. My own sisters hate anything Yoruba with passion.lol

Sweetie, buy the post is confusing nau. That's a clear case of speaking from both sides of your mouth. On one side you were giving reasons why not to marry a godly man, but on the other you were giving reasons why a godly man is better. Looking at the title of your thread, one would have expected that you will just go straight and give reasons not to marry a godly man and not making comparisons. Abi u weedhuh cheesy
