So God is not against wering rings. The idea of 2 people exchanging rings is based on the principles of covenants. In covenant there is exchange. David and Jonathan had exchange. It's like saying "all that is mine is yours and what is yours is mine"

If you do a study on covenants ,it's always acompanied with exchange of gifts. Which symbolises union. But I agree with you that exchange of rings is a modern thing. But not evil. Because ring or no ring . The exchange has always been a principle in covenants.

They diidnt promote hot girls the way I see it. It's a targeted handbill for hot girls. To reach out to them to bring them to church. You must be very sure of what you have to take such risk. I'm surprised that you as a spiritual person refuse to comment on the use of "Hot Girls" as a way to invite people to church.

I may not approve of it. But the intention is pure. It may sound a little Extreme but the idea is to lure street girls to come to church. It has a target . Not for everybody but for the street girls. A man can only take such extreme step if he had prayed and fasted enough ,trusting the power of God to arrest those girls when they come in. But the idea is not to encourage the idea of worldly "Hot" girls.

We have had some extreme programmes years ago as students. "Jeans party"  everybody comes in jeans, yet it's an outreach programme. Some sinners don't like to go to church. But they can come for party. But we pray and fast. And after all the dancing (gospel raps etc). When the message is being preached , you see some crying. We chose certain people to share their life testimony, how Jesus turned thier lives around. We get the result.

So that's my opinion about the I.v of firemen . It's anspecial I.V for certain Group in the society.

We have our outreaches to prostitutes also . But we use different approach.

One of th things I have learnt from scriptures is that supernatural power brings supernatural persecution. If you are a motivational speaker, you may not have any persecution but if you enter Into supernatural . Like healings or casting out of devils , miracles etc. Satan will come after you . False accusers will rise up. And gullible and unsoiritual Christians will help them.

Firstly, I watched the Documentary and and I can deduce for myself how I came to the conclusion that the Man is a Fraudster.

Firstly, lets start with the meaning of[b] Fraud[/b]: According to the Macmillan dictionary;

3. someone who pretends to be an official or professional person in order to trick people

Dr Fireman possesses elements from the above. How?

1. What is the motive for changing is name to "sign Fireman"? Deceit and to draw attention and sensationalism

Nobody has a right to assume the motive of another person. Assumption is not a way of dealing with facts . Why don't you find out if he changed his name and why. I always want us to ask questions. Not assuming.

2. Where are the records of the companies he "claims" to have from the age of 12? No evidence whatsoever that he had/has them so its safe to conclude that that is wrong information. Relate this to No 2 of the dictionary meaning above.

Those are the questions the reporter should have asked .

3.  Did he not notice that his secretary (Taskgirl/ firegirl) had demons in her all along  whilst working for him?

It doesn't work that way. A minister doest know, until it is revealed by the spirit. It's possible for demons to be there for years unnoticed until the anointing mke them manifest.

But he had to remove the demons in front of his congregation in order to emphasise his deceit. That is trickery. Pls relate this to no1 of the dictionary meaning above

How do you expect him to remove the demons? In secrets? He did it the bible way?

4. At the end of the service, his sheep were putting money at his feet after his charade. so yes, he seem to have money to gain from all these trickery.

So whats the problem ? Is it the giving of the money or the puting at his feet?

God is to  you what you want him to be. It's a law of sowing and reaping. The reporter edited off his conclusion by that misrepresented the man

When i first heard about cameras not being allowed in certain churches , I never liked the idea. But with these kinds of journalists I began to see reasons why such measures are taken. Not because theres anything to hide but rather the manipulations of such journalist in the name of making money.

He took advantage of his simplicity .

Why didn't a professional reporter find this out. He probably did but refused to write it. Because it would spoil his script and agenda which portrays that the pastor robbed the poor of their hard earned cash to purchase exotic cars. What a satanic act.

Those who say fireman is not a man of God ,on what basis are they making such claim? The bible is clear on how to determine who is a christian and who is a minister. It has to do with his doctrine of christ, who is jesus to him. Has he denied the lordship of Jesus?

After spending a tortuous 14 years in the valley of childlessness, the prayers of Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Adimma was finally answered this year when God blessed them with a bouncing baby boy.

Several years back, Beatrice Adimma, a receptionist at Ikoyi Club, Lagos, went for check-up, her doctor told her that she cannot have a baby until she submits for fibroid surgery. She refused to go for surgery.

Scan examination showed that Adimma had fibroid growing on top of her fallopian tube, which obstructed the normal functions of the tube. Medically, there is no way she would conceive except the fibroid is removed by operation.

However, the Adimmas worship at Perfect Christian Ministry, where a man of God and a miracle worker, Rev. Sign Fireman is the pastor. They joined the ministry last year. The man of God prophesied that the woman will become pregnant before six months and it happened exactly that way. Before the six months elapsed, she conceived.

Mrs. Adimma said: "God used Rev. Sign Fireman to deliver me. I believe the problem had spiritual undertones. I refused to go for fibroid operation, and did not have any surgery before I took in. The pastor just laid hands on me prayed for me and prophesied that I will be pregnant before six months.
"The very month I wanted to adopt a child from the motherless babies home was the very month God intervened. I told the pastor I wanted to adopt a child and he said I should not go for adoption. I will have my own child."

Before meeting Rev. Sign Fireman last year, Mrs. Adimma had been treating the fibroid with herbs. And she had also been to several churches in search of divine intervention.
She said, "a time came I lost hope. My mother-in-law and my husband kept encouraging me. Especially, after I consulted an expatriate doctor who said I should forget about getting pregnant because of the fibroid, I lost hope completely. I believed the report of the medical doctor. I thank God for the man he used, Rev. Sign Fireman, he kept encouraging me, giving me hope. He told me that if God does not do it, then he is not a man of God."

For Mr. Adimma, if his wife lost hope that they would have a baby, he did not. He said: "As we were looking for solution, I knew too well there was spiritual undertone to it. That was why I kept encouraging her and didn’t allow anybody to discuss it with me. Moreover, God had spoken long concerning the situation, that she will have a baby. Since 1996, I have been having the revelation that my wife had a baby. I believed what God was telling me through revelation, and that strengthened my faith. So, I remained focused, avoided distraction, because I know what God has spoken must surely come to pass.
"The problem with a lot of people is that they run out of patience. I never ran out of patience. When my wife ran out of patience, I kept encouraging her. I will ask her how old are you? Have you forgotten some of your mates are still single?

"When she wanted to adopt a child, I said no. I told her the Lord says you are not barren. We are still young, there are still many years ahead of us to have babies. I am not against adoption, but it should be seen as charity, not alternative to your own child. So, I told her to forget adoption, that God will do it.
"The delivery of the baby was another battle. The baby’s hands were tied with the umbilical cord to the neck. There was no way the baby would have come out through the birth canal that way, so she was delivered by caesarean section.

"After the delivery, we discovered that the baby’s hands were tied. They used a cord to tie the hands, and used another cord to tie the two hands to the neck. During the delivery, we were in contact with my pastor on phone. He kept encouraging me that the baby will come out anyhow, irrespective of what the devil is trying to do. Because we got the revelation through a visiting pastor during our convention.
"He said God has delivered me, but actually that he saw a baby that was tied in the womb. There, at the convention, he made me understand I will have a baby boy, but the baby will be tied. But that I will deliver the baby ‘anyhow’ irrespective of the battle.

"As the labour progressed, and the baby was not coming out, the pastor had to come to the hospital and prayed for me. He told me not to bother, that all he knows is that both mother and child will be alive. The plan of the devil was to take my life during the delivery.
"When the baby came out, my doctor called me and said this is your baby, look at how he was tied. It was an attack. The doctor did not intend to deliver me through caesarean section, it was me that suggested it because I was getting weak because of prolonged labour.

"The doctor was shocked when the baby come out, he said he had not seen such a thing before, a baby tied with the umbilical cord. He said there was no way I would have delivered through the normal way. Funny enough, all the scan I did, none showed the baby was tied. The doctor said he was shocked.
When contacted, Dr Francis Obi, Medical Director, His Mercy Hospital, Orile, Lagos, confirmed that the baby was tied. "The baby was tied with umbilical cord, a situation that can strangle a baby in the womb before delivery. Though we saw it physically, there is no doubt it could have spiritual undertones. I was shocked."

I suspected this, thats why I wondered why the reporter didn't ask the right question. Where's did he get his money? Or probably the reporter asked but didn't like the answer because it will spoil his propaganda. People are gullible to any anti christian or anti church story.

A pastor won't carry offerings of people to buy hummer ?  There must be another source of money. This is common sense.

I've worked in a church department and I was privileged to be a close friend of the accounts manager. So I would tell you YES, A BIG YES.

Talk about the offering for each service during the weekdays. then the special services, and the sunday service. On Average, four services a day, discounting fellowships or other gatherings. If a church has 200 members, and they each give 20. That's 4000 per service. Multiply that by 4 services a week and you have 16000 naira.
So offering is not where the money actually comes from. The money comes from tithes.

If each member earns an average of 18000 a month (minimum wage), they would be paying 1800 naira as tithe each month. 1800 * 200 = 360000.

We won't begin to consider the other levies/offerings the church members are asked to pay: seed faith, building offering, special offering, thanksgiving offering and all what not.

Does every member pay tithes? A church of 200 will have about half working and a quater paying tithes. Have you condider running cost of a church. Workers wages, helps , purchases. diesel for generator etc, Remember the church pays tithes to CAN or PFN or wherever . How much do you think a Hummer cost? How much will the pastor save in a month . For how many years. Do you know the cost of maintenance for a hummer? He must be a bad investor

Thats what some people don't understand. I said this once in another thread. Can those offerings of 50 naira 20 naira which they show in the video buy a hummer ? It's crazy! Why didn't the reporter ask him where he got the hummer from?

It's possible to get to heaven spiritually, many people have gone and come back either through death ,coma, or vision. What determines the authenticity of the story is the message. You only mentioned gates. Is that all he said or you're editing it? To suit your anti pastor propaganda

Ive heard some people say Christians don't need to fast again based on the above scripture. Is fasting still valid today ?
